A Westminster / North Denver institution! I genuinely love this small (and mighty) Italian market and deli. You'll find all sort of treats here, including their house made breads (Mediterranean Olive Bread is perfect), cookies, and cannolis. They have a freezer section of house made pasta, pizzas, and meats in addition to the fresh deli. You can also pre-order pizzas to-go! (Not same-day)But the best part? Made to order sandwiches! My go-to is the Caprese which is currently priced at $11. My boyfriend enjoys the Capo.

Oh wow ok Valentes just transported me back to my childhood in NJ. This unassuming deli/grocery/bakery has it all. The aisles are lined with tons of Italian goodies and they have so many frozen meals that I'm dying to try on my next visit. We stopped in for a quick bite / sandwich to-go and I'm floored I didn't know about them sooner. We ordered the Valente sub and the mild sausage cannoli with sauce. YUM! The sandwich is loaded with meaty/cheesy goodness and that Italian dressing is EVERYTHING. I love that they serve it with a pickle and peppers. The sausage cannoli was super tasty and the perfect app to our sandwich. The prices are also reasonable which I really appreciate. $4.99 for a sausage cannoli? SOLD! A friendly atmosphere with amazing food, what more could you ask for?

Valente's Deli and Bakery has been around for decades and for good reason!! They're a great little Italian market on the Northwest side of town (technically Westminster) with a huge selection of imported foods, and house made items that make my soul happy!!

I've been taken back to the Italian deli I grew up in, in Chicago burbs by visiting Valentes Deli. I can honestly say I'm in love with this place, I cannot wait to come back and purchase more from them.Today we stopped in for the sandwiches for lunch, we got both The Capo and the Valente sub. The bread was super fresh, the meats were extremely tasty and the veggies were a nice compliment to the sandwich. I love that they give the Italian dressing on the side so the sandwich doesn't get soggy before you eat it. We ate in the deli, tables were clean and service was great! Valentes is an absolute hit of Italian options in the denver metro area!

Wow, this place is a hidden gem! I came for the deli to grab a sandwich. Luckily I had discipline that day because the market is full of so many incredible Italian groceries and homemade frozen pastas, sauces, and raviolis in divine flavor combinations galore. I got the valente sub to go. It was huge and full of high quality authentic Italian meats, select provolone, fresh vegetables all in fresh Italian hoagie bread. It came with a yummy Italian vinaigrette on the side that I dipped my sandwich in. It was so yummy! I am a big eater and I could only finish half. Next time I want to try one of their famous savory cannolis. This is a bustling market deli setting not really the ambiance for a romantic date. The sandwich came out in due time, but not subway level fast which I appreciate because the end product was superb. Staff was friendly! I can't wait to try some of their pastas and sauces to see how they compare to other authentic versions I have had from elsewhere.

Based on fellow Yelpers I decided to try this place and have lunch with my son. First off I have to say that the ladies working behind the counter were so chatty and eager to help us newbies. My son and I both ordered the Capo sandwich and it was a very generous portion with meats stacked on some tasty bread. We both filled up on the those sandwiches but we wanted to give some pastries a try. We each ordered a pastry canoli to go so we could wait until we had room for them. Everything was so good and they even had black cherry soda to complete the experience for me. I recommend this place and I will be returning to try some different offerings and enjoy a black cherry soda. The prices were reasonable, the place was clean and the service was awesome

This review is way over do. Dino you are the MAN in the Italian deli world! I lived in the Denver area for six years and tried every single Italian and Mediterranean deli. Nothing came remotely close to Valentes. The choice of meats (we prefer to make our own monsters) was perfect. The selection of items around the store - wonderful. I live outside of Colorado now and miss Valentes every week.

Hello, dangerous. Do you think if I beg hard enough, the Valente family will adopt me? I'm considering quitting my day job to live here instead!Jokes aside, I've had Valentes buried in my bookmarks since I moved to Denver. And to be honest, I forgot about it until it somehow worked its way into a recent conversation. I immediately made a game plan to visit ASAP.First impressions. This is the most comprehensive Italian market I've been to in a long time. In terms of sauces, pastas, olive oils, you name it, they have it. My favorite brands like De Cecco, Sclafani and Cento line the shelves like a library. It's a sight to behold. I could almost cry.The party doesn't stop there. Even though it very well could. The selection of insane. But then, not to be outdone, the Valente family has its own deli and bakery on site. They make incredible Italian sausage (just made meatballs out of them!), frozen pastas and baked goods. The white chocolate macadamia cookies are the best of its kind. You think I'm being facetious. Trust me, I'm not.Oh, and one epic Italian sandwich to boot. Soft bread, beautifully cut Italian meats stacked perfectly. Awe man, I wish I could eat these every day but my heart says otherwise. The family owned market has been in business for over 70 years. It's in its third generation now. These are the types of places everybody loves supporting. I plan to come here for all my Italian products from here on out. No need to buy them from a big box store when a family owned spot has competitive prices and an even larger variety of products to choose from..Valentes, take this as my public profession of love for your business!

If you are ever stuck with what to cook for dinner this place has so many delicious options. Love their selection of dried pastas and sauces. The frozen ravioli are a hit with everyone in the family. The cannolis are some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best Italian Market in the Denver area. Service and ingredients are the best. Their sandwiches are unmatched, cannoli are always fresh, and their take and bake pizzas are the best. The Valente family is a cornerstone of the neighborhood. I hope they stay open forever.
