V12 Restaurant

Just love a good daiquiri. Not sure what it is but the cocktail is spot on for a luxurious feel: mouth/hand/tummy. Nothing says foreplay like a beautiful restaurant. Each time at V12, I experience something different. Being from the Bay you know what elevated looks like. Now this might just be how Atlanta does it but to transform a gas station parking lot into a viewing room is top tier. In the Bay we'd get car break-ins on display! The view makes you forget the world if you focus hard enough. As an entrepreneur myself, I cannot knock the hustle. The Bar staff has been great & the customers at the bar are the kind of Clients you want f*kn with you! Let me find out I can get a private dance in the back...

The ambiance was great, and the staff was pleasant but the overall service was subpar in comparison to other establishments. Parking is unique but valet was available for $30 and a parking garage is directly behind the restaurant. It appeared as if the restaurant is still developing a flow considering it's a newer spot. However, if service and/or the customer experience is your core priority, I would really hone in on that as you continue to work through the process of opening a new establishment. Good service is hard to forget. The food was delicious and delivered promptly, however, we felt slightly rushed by the server and felt our experience was cut short. We ordered the egg rolls, lobster bites, a burger, fries, and one round of drinks. For context, we were there for 1.15 hours. Overall, it was a good time, not a great time. I do see the potential and will return again.

The short: Great service, hip ambiance, and delicious food. Great place for a fun night out with friends to get dressed up, have good food and drinks and vibe. Weird location and parking.The long: First, it's very unassuming from the outside as it sits in a BP gas station parking lot strip across the intersection from the Varsity. The outside and location do no justice to the inside which is very nice. I really enjoyed the look and feel of V12. The floor to ceiling mirrors in the halls and bathrooms were perfect for photo opportunities.Everyone was friendly, from the hostesses, the servers, security, even the IT guy (met the IT guy as he was there t work on the AV system). Our server, Luna, was prompt, knowledgeable about the menu, and so kind. We put in our orders and the food came out quick without any issues.Our party pretty much ordered most of the apps and several entrees. As you can see pictured I personally ordered the hickory smoked burger and broccolini. Everything I tasted was good, the wings were crispy and well seasoned, the egg roll was delicious, cheesy, and flavorful, and the fries were crispy and well seasoned with more than salt and pepper. The burger was delicious but I didn't care for the bbq sauce on it. However the bacon was crispy and the meat was lightly seasoned. The broccolini was really good too and tasted fresh and still had a crisp bite. I also had a lychee martini and it was delicious and perfectly balanced. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because of the location being in a gas station strip. But I get it, get in where you can...oh and valet parking is $25

Being from Houston, I'm used to amazing food. This place was beautifully decorated and very clean. Loved the section our party sat in. It allowed our group yo ejjpy the vibe and experience privately. The bathroom had floor to ceiling mirrors, which was amazing, as girls love a photo op. The parking was a little chaotic as it's located by a gas station, but valet did their thing. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I was disappointed that the mac-n-cheese was unavailable. I didn't order the lamb chops, but someone in my party did, and they were on the small side. The pricing, in my opinion, was a bit high. Salmon was $41, and so were lamb chops. Those should be different. Cornbread costing $12 is wild. I feel they spent more time on decor and ambiance instead of the menu and pricing. For a Saturday it wasn't too crowded and they have plenty of reservations options online.Food:Lobster bites:10/10 seasoned and fried well, best thing in the menu Salmon 7/10 delicious cooked well, and the sauce it came with had a good flavor. Short rib 9/10 super tender seasoned well, and the portions were huge. Mashed potatoes 3/10 tasted like box potatoes. They were supposed to be Parmesan mashed potatoes buy they needed some flavor they were dry Carrots 3/10 they were a little too crap tasted undercooked Drinks:Ube daiquiri 6/10. Please only order if you like Ube flavor. It has a bit of an aftertaste but is a good silky drink Blackberry Bugatti 8/10 lots of muddled fruit hard to drink needed a bigger straw. It tasted like juice. I didn't taste the Hennessey at all, but it was a good drink overallParking:Valet $25Service: we had a larger party so the waitress did great accommodatioing us and gave good recommendations. I will say she did forget some in the party when it was time to order only 1/2 of our orders were placed. This place is beautiful and a very grand experience right in the heart of the city! It's definitely the place you want to take someone who's never been to Atlanta before.The food was excellent and my espresso drink was to die for. The service was great too and you can tell their staff was very well trained. I love to see this level of excellence, especially from a black owned establishment.

Traveled from SC to try V12 and I wasn't disappointed. First things first, our server Mieshia was that girl!! The only reason I took away a star was because we were looking forward to the Mac and cheese, but they were still workshopping it so they didn't have it. The vibe of V12 was everything, especially the wall of mirrors because you know girls love mirrors While the salmon wasn't visually appealing, it was sooooo good! The mashed potatoes tastes like instant mash, but it was still good so I won't take away from that... also, get the Blueberry Bugatti drink 10000/10!!

Ambiance very nice music good staffers needs lots more training in hospitality cute don't dictate service the place is a vibe the food is mediocre and service not so good 15 staffers and 4 customers why are we waiting for reheated chicken wings the prices are ridiculous considering the area it's by GA Tech ?? Not sure about that part $25 to park your own car that's stupid not sure what's the angle on that ?? those stairs and alcohol is a lawsuit waiting to happen so let's get the elevator in service as soon a possible for convenience and safety it's worth a try but just go for the vibe nothing else is going on and make sure to bring your pocketbook and wallets over priced is the name of the game

Wow. From the outside this is not what I was expecting. When my friend I was visiting drive up to the location I was like "fool it'sYour birthday" when we walked through the door of this place, it all made sense. What a great concept with great food and even better people. Short rib did not come up short. Salmon was tasty. The sauce is different than things I've had in the past. Drinks were good and strong. Great idea to whoever runs this place. But again, you can tell your people love what they do and love where they are. Kudos.

We recently hosted a gathering of girls at V12, and I cannot express how pleased we all were with our experience! Our primary focus was to make sure the ladies in our group were comfortable and having a great time which was accomplished because of the amazing waitstaff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks were equally impressive, both stunning and tasty, adding a special touch to our celebration.A big thank you to the management for making this happen! We truly appreciate the effort put into accommodating our group. The service was outstanding; our servers (honorable mentions Maurisaa, Kimana, Lamar sorry can't remember if this is correct) we're attentive, sweet, bubbly, and incredibly efficient. You have a fantastic team on hand!We can't wait to plan our next event at Version 12. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

I attended a birthday celebration for my aunt at V12. From start to finish the experience was 10/10. The space/ decor is beautiful! The food was even better and the vibes were unmatched. Definitely a great spot to celebrate any occasion!
