Uptown Grill

Just no. The place looks super run down. The appetizers I got were weirdly breaded and didn't crunch at all. Like, it had been sitting out for a minute when there aren't even 10 people in the restaurant. Salad bar was just sad.

We live in EC and this restaurant is on our avoid list! The last time we went was on Sunday after church rush. Our food took over an hour, we had to ask for silverware and then it was not even good. The entire establishment could use a deep clean. The staff can be nice, usually aren't.

I'm ok with this joint. My Mom used to like coming here, and she got me hooked! The salad bar stand is old... but the food within it was fresh. I ordered the quail, I always stick with that... I like the way they cook it! Look, it's an old building that hasn't had an update in a while... so don't come in here expecting a Galleria restaurant, you know better than that. But I have not been disappointed with the food, so I'll be back and have my salad bar and the grilled quail! I likes it!!! They have some pretty big pot holes in the parking lot... but I have a jeep and thought it was kind of fun :)

Stopped in here after trying two other breakfast places on a Sunday around 1045. One place was closed the other was a gas station which consisted of tacos under a warmer. It was after 1030, we were 3 adults and two starving kids. The waitress yelled back to the cook to ask if they were still serving breakfast and she said sure. The breakfast was as good as if not better than what you'd get at one of those chain breakfast diners. I had pancakes with sausage and eggs that was average, my husband had what he said were some very good Migas and even my super picky sister was pleased with her chicken fried steak and eggs. Even the picky eater kids cleaned their plates and the biscuits were homemade and fantastic! Only four stars because the food did take over 20 minutes to come out, but then again we walked in after they had stopped serving breakfast. Excellent service as well. Over all a good experience. Would eat here again for breakfast.

Disgusting! The worst restaurant I've ever been to. The salad bar was all old. The food itself was not fresh. The service was terrible. The dishes were dirty! Absolutely repulsive.

Found out they had breakfast, so I decided to give it a try. Ordered eggs & bacon with a side of grits. It was very good. Thick cut bacon and eggs were perfect. Grits weren't on the menu, but I asked. I'm glad I did, because they were good. I will be back. Gave it only 4 stars because the place is older and needs to be renovated.

avoid - potato skins not crisp and bacon on top not fully cooked. steak and fried shrimp was doable, not the best. the chicken fried chicken had a rubbery texture and seemed over cooked, 2 bites in and decided not to finish it. fries way undercooked. waitress didn't seem to care, so we just paid and moved on. also, found it disturbing that they were dusting the air vent above the salad bar.

This was one of the worst places i have ever earen at. I seafood platter was all frozen food and the chicken fried steak was so greasy.. So unfortunate cause yeard ago it use to be very good.

My daughter and I went for breakfast and it was so good! I got the chicken fried steak and eggs and she got the French toast and it was amazing! Our server was sweet as could be and we had great service! We will def be back!

So food is good but service was horrible this morning probably my last time eating here, we ordered and literally got zero refills until we were done eating, and it wasn't that busy
