Umami Seafood

Very nice and clean establishment. The food was phenomenal and big portions. Typical seafood crab steam fare. I had crawfish and snow crab clusters. Prepared with care.

Great food, awesome service.Restaurant is recently renovated and very clean.Some of the best service I've ever had in Goldsboro. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.The food was delicious. I had a shrimp, snow crab, and mussel boil, Cajun style. I added some sausage. The portion was huge. I shared with my two sons and still had pounds of food leftover.I'm not sure where the negative reviews came from, but I'll definitely be back.Photos of my leftovers and the evidence of how much I enjoyed it.

Raw oysters were warm, tuna tataki as cooked extremely salty, spicy and hard and I was told I had to pay for it even tho I couldn't eat it!! After some arguments owner who never showed his face ended up not charging me for it! Boil was just ok! In other words I'll never ever be back!!!

Another couple wanted to try out this restaurant. They had been the place when it was a Chinese restaurant that had gotten run down. Appearance was clean simple and neat and my friends told that a bunch of tacky Chinese decorations were gone. Service was prompt and friendly. We started with crab Rangoon that was very good. I had the teriyaki shrimp and hibachi chicken. The couple with me had hibachi chicken and hibachi steak. All were served with rice and mixed vegetables. My friend asked for medium rare on his steak and that was what he got. The beer and wine lists are small but adequate--I had a Modello. Prices are reasonable--$3 for the Rangoon and $12-15 for most dinners. We agreed that we would go again.

Wanted to try the new place in town but this was a joke. The food looks way better than it actually taste I wouldn't recommend

The service was good and the food was great. The steamed garlic oysters were the best part of the meal The shrimp and crab legs were perfectly seasoned. It's nice to have a place to eat seafood that is no fried. Check it out you will leave satisfied

A little sketchy. Not sure that seafood and Asian food mixes so well. I was underwhelmed by everything...the food, the atmosphere, the service.

I didn't really enjoy this place (the food to be exact). The crab legs were really small to be "snow crabs." I was really disappointed in the taste. I didn't feel that "southern" spice from it. I wouldn't recommend this place if you really know your seafood.

The immediate environment upon entry into restaurant was off putting due to the mounds unnecessary things laying about ( I believe one would find these things about their home not in a place for serious business made it look very 'junky'. The service was perfunctory. The food was adequate , we had the seafood boil mildly favored (more like taste less) was disappointed. I will not return to this restaurant , as I expected better. Improving the entry would improve things greatly. Larger "pieces' of corn on the cob (looked as of the mini corn on the cob was cut in half) the meal was not inexpensive. They can do a lot better given there are other seafood restaurants choices to choose from .

The food is not quality for its price! The shrimp is the lowest quality of shrimp not deveined. Taste is okay but will most likely not return.
