TX Crawfish & Seafood

TX Crawfish and Seafood is my favorite place in the area to get boiled seafood. The prices are reasonable and the flavor of the seafood boil is always on point. I also appreciate how there's is never a huge crowd whenever I go so there is no crazy long wait time. I ordered my usual snow crab cluster and half a pound of ez peel shrimp. I got mild-Cajun flavor and It was good but I realized that I should have gotten the spicy instead of mild since the mild didn't have any kick to it at all. I also wanted to try their garlic Parmesan wings and requested all flats but was told that they could not give me all flats, which was disappointing so I did not order them. My mom ordered the sausage fried rice and added shrimp to it. I do not eat sausage so I didn't try it but she said it was delicious. I thought it was interesting that they serve a sausage fried rice, I have never seen that before. She also ordered cheese puffs and the shrimp & chicken wontons which were crispy and flavorful. I think I will order them for myself next time. Overall, my experience here was decent. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the wings but TX Crawfish & Seafood remains my favorite in the area.

So I'm in TX for a lil while and thought I'd missed crawfish season. It's near the end so choices are limited and the crawfish are smaller. I went here 3days in a row and even had some delivered on another day. The crawfish are purged very well. I got the combo seasoning w/mussels and mushrooms. It was excellent!!! I believe this is an Asian-Cajun fusion establishment. They don't disappoint with the flavors. I ordered some hush puppies but they were a lil over cooked and too dry for my liking. I went for the crawfish though and was not disappointed. I wish we had one of these back in California!! Sadly, native Californians don't eat a lot of crawfish. They don't know what their missing. I'll be getting one more helping soon. This is a vast improvement compared to my visit 2yrs ago!!

It's so hard to find a good place that has saucy crawfish in the Bay Area. But TX crawfish nailed it. The flavor was delicious! We got the 3lb deal, where you order 3 and get some free potato and corn. The calamari was also delicious. The staff was friendly and very attentive. This place is definitely a gem for the Bay Area. Will be coming back soon!

I would give 5 stars just for the service given by our server she was amazing and helpful, but this 3 star review is for the manger with the corn stash. He was awful. Any manger worth their salt knows to help their employees excel they give the pointers out of view and out of earshot of their customers. This joker thinks it's ok to berate his employees right out on the floor. My first experience with this guy was hearing him complain about having to bring a water to a customer. Dude you work in a restaurant get over it. And change your attitude my guy

Ordered a to go sandwich. Cashier was told several times how we wanted the sandwich and she STILL got it wrong. Service gets worse every time. Will not go back for a very long time RIDICULOUS

I'm so happy I got to try a cajun seafood restaurant before I left Houston. Overall, the food was delicious. My only complaint was the service was lacking. Our waitress was super nice but forgetful. Also they didn't have raw oysters at the time that I went and that was a bit disappointing.This is what I ordered:Calamari: First time having calamari like this. Very thin and stick like, but it was good. It was crunchy and had a nice sauce to go with it. Fried Okra (4/5): I was not a fan of the ranch that came with it. I felt like the fried okra could've used a bit more seasoning but overall it was still good. 1 pound of shrimp head on extra spicy with 1 egg and sausage. The sauce was actually a bit spicy but still very enjoyable. A little surprised that I didn't get a bucket, hand wipes, bibs, or gloves to peel the shrimp. Not sure if this is just a Cali thing? Side note: They give you butter on the side to dip the shrimp in. I actually asked for lemons on the side so I can use that with my shrimp instead of the butter. The sausage was good as well, nothing super special but still very enjoyable. PS: I always love cracking my egg towards the end and mashing the egg yolk in the sauce. It just absorbs all the flavor and it tastes so good either by itself or with some rice.Shrimp tacos (5/5): Mmmm, my mouth is watering thinking about these shrimp tacos. They were delicious ! Definitely recommend trying ! Shrimp po boy with fries: I didn't take a bite of the po boy sandwich but I did have the fries. I really have to raveee about these fries. They were soo good even though the pic does not do it justice! A little saltier on some pieces i'd but other than that I loved the seasoning !

Despite the adequate service, my disappointment with the crawfish from this establishment cannot be overstated. From the moment they asked me to choose a "flavor," I should have realized I was in for a disappointment. The crawfish were shockingly hard and dry, easily the worst I've encountered in years of enjoying eating crawfish and sucking the heads. As someone who has sampled excellent crawfish from other establishments in Houston, I regret not choosing one of those spots instead. In town for a cruise, I had hoped to savor one last taste of quality crawfish before departing, but sadly, this experience fell far short of my expectations.

Would give 0 stars if I could. The flavor of the crawfish is good. But I literally broke a nail trying to crack the crawfish. Never had crawfish like that. The service S**KS. The restroom had NO toilet paper, and NO napkins. The waiter didn't ask if we wanted refills at all. We ordered chicken and sausage gumbo and had to remind the waiter about it 2x after ordering and he admitted he forgot. (We were okay with that) We waited for it and it comes out with shrimp as well we just left it. When I checked the tab while checking out I noticed we were being charged extra for the shrimp. So I asked about the charge and they said it was for the shrimp in the gumbo, and I explained that I ordered chicken and sausage. The waiter asked the manager to comp the gumbo. The manager comps out the extra charge for the shrimp but not the gumbo. The waiter told the manager to comp out the gumbo too. So the manager got an attitude and said THE GUMBO TOO? I told him I didn't mind paying for the gumbo, even though it's not what we ordered and we didn't even eat it. He went to the table and checked after comping it like if I was lying. Never have been that person and never will be. Never again.

I came in and sat down. I was over looked. One associate brought food to a table and walked past me without addresses at all. No "we'lol be with you in a min." Nothing. So I get up and ask an associate, that I see sitting at a table playing on his Nintendo switch, if I have to order at the register. He then tells me no someone will be with you in a second you sat down and we didn't notice you. That's why we have the please wait to be seated sign. As I was about to apologize because I didn't see the sign he proceeds to play his Nintendo switch. I gather my things and ask how do I file a complaint. I'm then told he's the GM and there is no way to file a complaint just tell him my issue. My issue sir is with you. Your lack of professionalism and customer service is my issue. I have been to this restaurant many times and sat myself without any issues. Maybe I overlooked the sign then also but that doesn't warrant being rude to your paying customers that keep you in business.

Delicious, hit our seafood craving. Definitely coming back ! We got the house special sauce Spicy, it was the perfect amount of spice, and not overpowering
