Town Hall Burger & Beer - Durham

Visiting Durham and daughter and she likes this place and since I like burgers she suggested to go.Plenty of parking including a side lot. Large outdoor space and outdoor seating and inside too.You walk in and go to the cashier to place order...menu options pretty good and also gluten free bun option for extra $3Me and my daughter both ordered the perfect burger 8oz. And a basket of fries and a gluten free bun on one.$35 is a little pricy for a burger but burger is grilled and cooked how you want it and was really good.I asked for Mayo to be added but found out they do not dress the bun and you get a Mayo packet and ketchup and mustard are on the table so you actually add and complete burger once it is brought out to you. Which is pretty good so you can add the amount of each condiments you want..Service was friendly and didn't take long. Burger tasted really good and good size. Fries were really good also.I would highly recommend this place to any one that likes a good burger. Just know it's a little pricy.

Food was quick and delish!Service was good, we were there at a slow part of the day. Restaurant was clean and tables bussed. We would definitely go back, they have a nice outside eating area, would be fun later on the evening when it cooled off.

Found this place on Yelp and glad we did!Lots of different areas to sit and we choose the bar area. They have a nice outdoor patio space too. We ordered beforehand but you can also order at the bar tables. Beer menu is really extensive and something for every palate. Greek salad was fresh and big - dressing was fantastic! Our kid's grilled cheese and fries looked great (he was a fan) and plentiful. The Townhall burger was delicious! Meat patty was great and I shared it because it was big! The Truffle Parmesan Fries were also really good too.Only "Meh" was that we took the Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding to go and it was meh! Very generous portion but way too sweet. It was overkill with the sweetness and one spoonful was enough. All in all a good experience! Staff is a 5 star - always checked in and were so nice!

Great space with sports bar like vibe and really quality burgers. I had a turkey burger that was excellent along with a local ipa from the solid beer selections. Service was fast and kind

Great local burger joint to hang out either inside or outside. Place is good for larger groups or even if you want a casual date night it's a chill spot. The servers the last few times have been very nice to deal with and the food has come out at a reasonable amount of time. Good selection of beer both bottle and draft. Prices might be a hair high but for the most part you get a good portion size and tasty food.

Stopped by for dinner before a movie and was not disappointed. Plenty of delicious burger, chicken and fish options to choose from. We went with the California Burger and the Patty Melt and a side of fries. (Forgot to take a picture of the California burger lol) The patty melt was awesome. Grilled onions, burger patty cooked to order, thick cut rye bread. O definitely recommend! The California Burger had pico, guac, bacon, lettuce chipotle Mayo was really good as well. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu! Staff were super friendly. The girl who took our order came around and wiped empty tables. Always asked if we needed anything. She was a super star. I loved they had half the restaurant an order counter / Togo area with seating and half the place and a full service side with the bar on the other So you can be waited on. Super efficient. Looks like they are on DoorDash because I heard the dings coming through rapidly in the background so that's a good sign they are as popular as the food would make them! Sports on every tv. Music playing was really good as well. Give em a try if you're in the mood for burgers and beer!

A restaurant next to the Southpoint Hyatt in Durham. It is very convenient for a quick bite, but the food is better than the standard "bar food." The sandwich with the feta dill sauce and mushrooms was super flavorful, and so were the parmesan truffle tots. I got it to go, which came pretty quick. TIP FOR ONLINE ORDER: Double-check the prepopulated tip amount before submitting an order. The tip was automatically set to 20% (I did leave a tip, of course, but not 20% for a to go order for 1 sandwich and 1 piece of tots).

Normally when I visit THB I get the 5 oz burger. I've been reading about the Mondo burger (to celebrate Tar Heel Armando Bacot) and had to give it a try.It's an 8 oz burger topped with smoked applewood bacon, BBQ sauce (which is made in house) that has a bit of a sweet chilisauce flavor (and not like the kind you put on a hot dog or burger), onion straws, smoked gouda cheese, and lettuce on a brioche bun. Sounds like a lot, but the myriad of flavors come together so well. It's a hot mess and I loved it!Go get it now!

I am a sucker for shrimp tacos, especially if it's grilled shrimp! THBB has great ones, with about 4 huge shrimp in each taco and a pile of pico de gallo in each one. The remoulade served on the side is nice and spicy, too, making for $10 of heaven for your mouth. I paired it with a nice IPA and just slid into the enjoyment. I got here just after 5 on a random Friday in January, and there were already three tables full outside and a few more inside, but no line. I ordered and before I could choose a table, the bartender had my drink ready. The tacos took just minutes. As soon as I started eating, loads of folks came piling in, so it got busy, but I had my food, so I was happy. Bring the family, your friends, or the kids - it's a pretty chill vibe and great food options.

I stumbled on the Town Hall Burger & Beer Restaurant when I was looking to park for The Bonefish restaurant. Anyway, I liked that Town Hall uses recyclable paper containers. The food doesn't sweat & get soggy before you get home. I ordered the build your own burger, so I ordered a single patty which was about a quarter pound of Angus beef, with extra cheese and chili. It was alright. The lettuce and tomatoe was wilted. And, I didn't like the chili because it was more ground beef and no beans. I like beans in my chili. Now I would enjoy a sloppy-Joe sandwich using their chili. Burger joints should make sloppy-joe's... they're fun to eat. I also ordered the fried shrimp. The shrimp was fresh, but it didn't come with anything else. Next time I'll get the onion rings and shrimp together. I'm going back to try their so-called, "philly cheesesteak". As a New Yorker and Philly gurl..I'll let you know ... because no one makes a philly cheesesteak like Philly...lolThe photo of the burger doesn't show how tasty it was.
