Came here for the first time with my wife. We were in the area and we heard so much about this Filipino buffet so we decided to give it a try. I don't remember all the names of the food items, but there were a lot of varieties. This was my first Filipino buffets and it isn't expensive at all considering Filipino food being pretty expensive in general. I had about 12 different food items to consume and there were a few more other choices. They also have a little dessert and fruit area. They sell some food items to-go at the counter and they sell Halohalo separately. Their Halohalo was a bit small for $7, but it was very delicious. Their buffet which starts at 1130am, is only lunch and dinner. They also serve breakfast, but it is not a buffet. The drinks are not free, but the refills are. Definitely recommend to come here if you're ever in the Pearland area. The only thing I'd say that was bad was the refill of of food is pretty slow so you're sometimes waiting there for the food. It gets kind of bad when there is a line because everyone is grabbing a lot of each item. There is a lot of parking. The staff are friendly and service is on point. They have a karaoke area where people can sing and/or there are entertainers. They have lots of tables to dine at as well.

I'm not an expert on Filipino food. I think this buffet was a good way for me to see what kinds of dishes there are and to try them. I only came here because Mike Chen (aka, Strictly Dumpling) had a video about them on Youtube. I don't really know what I was eating, but the caldereta was really good, especially with rice. Besides hot foods, they also had orange slices and some desserts. This seemed like a small family-owned business. There weren't too many customers. It made me feel like the food just sits there and doesn't get replaced for fresh batches. There were so many signs about them charging for leftovers. They really don't want to waste food! I asked them if there was a difference between lunch and dinner, but there wasn't. I think lunch is just cheaper. There was plenty of parking. Bathroom is available. I thought I saw a small stage, so they might have live music!

My wife and I tried the buffet today and there was a wide gap in opinions, which averaged out to 4 stars. I tried almost everything and enjoyed all....to do this I had to put just a dab on my plate 'cause there were a lot of offerings. My wife didn't try much and did not care for it.

I ate the weekday lunch buffet. The Chicken adobo was flavorful. The sago-jackfruit-kabocha- rice dumpling coconut soup was warm, tasty and not too sweet. The rice dumpling was bigger than expected and surprisingly delicate for the size. The fish soup was tasty and light but had more bones than expected. I had to shred the meat finely as bones hid in the flesh. The beef in the beef soup was tender and plump. The chayote, okra and mung beans were well cooked, but I got tired of all the braised pork in the dishes. The other dishes had good flavors. The Fried items (calamari, egg rolls and thin smelt) were cold. The roasted porks looked good but were cold. The skin looked crispy, but it was a little tough. White rice was okay though there were some gray-looking parts in the huge rice cooker. Rice muffin with cheese was fluffy but salty. The Cassava and coconut cake had an al dente shredded texture. The pancit had a tart flavor profile. There's a fee if you waste food based on amount of food left on plate. It was nice to try a small bite of everything. Overall, there were some good parts (dumpling texture and overall flavors of the dishes) and some parts (temperature of food) that need some adjusting to improve the experience. The staff came by and picked up the plates often. Overall, I liked trying all the different dishes but did think I needed a fresh or dry fry vegetable dish for contrast because it was all fried, braised or soups.

I was originally introduced to this place through Strictly Dumpling's YouTube channel, where the traveling food blogger Mike Chen raved about this place during his visit.Being only nominally familiar with Filipino cuisine, the availability of the buffet really appealed to me, as I could try a large variety of dishes without having to commit! My friend and I met here for lunch on a weekend for that experience. There was live singing at this time, which was kinda fun but also fairly loud. The dining room was not terribly full when we arrived, but by the time we left, it was a packed house. There were a few room temperature items that were later replenished with a fresh batch including the lumpia. My first lumpia was not crispy and fresh. The second time around a got one from a fresh batch, and it was amazing. I enjoyed the fried pork! It was succulent, fatty, and crispy! I don't remember the names of the dishes I tried, but there were a lot of stewy options, best served with rice! I really enjoyed the various desserts including the soft glutinous rice dessert in coconut milk. While paying at the counter, I noticed many boxes of goodies available to take home. Definitely worth another visit when in the area.

I don't see filipino buffet often and it's a regular weekday and weekend all day buffet is wow. .So I went on a Tuesday during lunch time. I didn't know what to expect but I did make a phone call and make sure they are open and see what time they serve lunch buffet. They say 10am. I was happy. .So I went inside and they told me I can just go get the plate. So I went straight to the buffet and looked at the options. I started with small portions to taste the meat and flavors and textures. I knew what I was eating, it's just that I need to make sure it is fresh and not stale or been sitting in the warmer for too long. Everything was fresh around 1130am. .I loved the different variety they had. Now onto what I liked. .Pancit - I love the vermecielli noodles. I loved the flavor it was savory. Also I like the cabbage inside and veggies. .Loved the milk fish sour soup. It was appetizing and had the right amount of vinegar in it. I mixed the other veggie soup, and I couldn't stop eating the bok choy, okra, and green beans in the soup next to the milk fish sour soup. .Loved the little lumpia, they were so flavorful and ate a hand full of those. .They dinaguan aka chocolate meat, my co worker makes the best but this one was good too. .Loved the sautéed choyote veggie mix. It was a great colorful healthy veggie dish with bitter melon, kombucha squash, and other veggies. .Desserts loved they had cassava cake which is coconut in it. Loved the purple sticky rice which was lightly sweetend. Loved the fresh fruits such as oranges, cantelope, and pineapples. .Overall this place is a great introduction for people who likes trying new things or felipino food. Imagine you went to a wedding or a family friend house and you get to eat all of this without going to an event. I wish we have thus back home in sac. Hope this helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day!

Top notch Filipino comfort foods. Cooked wholesomely with care to flavor not frills. The staff and owners are kind, professional, and engaging. The buffet is well maintained with tons of yumminess. They have a great ambience and atmosphere with periodic karaoke. This will become a new family favorite your first visit.
