Your text is almost perfect, but here are a few small adjustments for better clarity and flow:"I learned about this place on Instagram from the Houston foodie. Ever since I saw his post of the cream cheese crown bread, I had been dying to try it! I forgot to get a photo of it, but it was absolutely delicious! The inside of this restaurant is pleasing to the eyes! I loved the ambiance and wished I could have stayed longer. The customer service was also excellent. Anytime I get a chance to speak Mandarin, it makes the experience 10 times better!Overall, I will definitely be going back on my next visit to Houston."

I'm having a hard time with this review because there's a lot of pros about this place, but a couple of things just made it really hard for me to give it more than 3 stars. I'll start with the positive. The bread is pretty freaking fantastic. I've never had Three Uncles Toast before, but saw someone post about it online and had to go try it. When you first walk in, it's a small little shop with orange bags everywhere. I will say that the bags does make it a bit harder to see what's inside and it can be overwhelming to know where to even start, but they did have a couple of samples and the cashier person was very sweet in giving us some recommendations. They have a menu of items as well to look at so you can get an idea of what all they have. I highly recommend the crown bread. They have 3 different flavors, chocolate filled, blueberry filled, and original cream cheese. I tried the blueberry filled and was not disappointed. I would totally come back just to get that, especially since we got one that was right out of the oven and still piping hot and so soft and fresh! Because I was a bit overwhelmed with the choices, I opted to get a combo which came with the crown bread, a chocolate toast, and a butter biscuit toast so I could sample a bit of everything. All the breads were so good! We also tried a couple of their lava toast, which is pretty much a panini, but still very delicious. I tried their boba lava toast and their durian lava toast. My favorite was the boba toast since it had a good texture, the boba was fresh and had a great flavor. The durian toast wasn't overwhelmingly durian flavor, but it was very buttery and a lot of the filling dribbled out, but still very good. So here's where I struggle in giving this place a higher rating. The cost was pretty steep for what you're getting. I love the breads, but at around $12 a loaf, it's a bit pricey for bread at the end of the day. This would be a fun splurge, but I can't see myself going here on a weekly basis to get bread. As mentioned above, all the packaging is this orange bag and they put a sticker on it for what it is. I love the consistency of it, however, I will say that I feel it leaves room for error in what they're packaging. Case in point, we saw someone order a blueberry crown bread as well, but they got the wrong one since the bag was labeled incorrectly. If you have allergies, I would make sure to double check what you're getting before eating it, since there's a lot of room for error when they're trying to quickly package a lot of bread at once. On top of that, because they were messing up their bread packaging, one of the workers was opening back up a lot of the bread packages to double check and I saw them dump out a bread on the counter to inspect it, and put it back into the bag with their bare hands. That was just a really big turnoff for me because it was on the front counter (not even the back), so everyone in the shop could see her do so. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt that her hands were clean, but she did look like she was running around a lot helping in the back, front, and dealing with customers. This just didn't seem very sanitary, and therefore knocked down my experience to a 3 star review. If I didn't see that, I would happily be enjoying by bread with ignorant bliss.

Stuff is really good here. Nothing like good, buttery, tasty soft bread that comes in different forms. Pricing is also pretty much higher than your average bakery here too. If you're willing to get a few extra calories into your diet, this place is a good place to do so with all the buttery, yet delicious carbs. We got the combo of the buttery biscuit, crown bread and chocolate loaf which came out to be a WHOPPING $30. For bread! However the taste of these items are absolutely delish, its hard to justify that amount of money for bread items. However in my mind, at least they do it well and pristine. We also got the boba toast and also durian toast, both of which hover around $8-9. Again, premium pricing for some scrumptious, yet bread items. ~~~***Three Uncles Toast is relatively new, the staffers are still adjusting to the processes of a bakery and this where the shady Chinese business practices come in. (I also Chinese, have been in a family owned small business practice) I overheard the manager correcting the staffer to NOT write the dates on the bag UNTIL it is purchased. Now this ruffled my feathers a bit since this allows them to leave baked items on the shelves longer than one might think and give the illusion that it is fresh with the hand written date. BEWARE. ***~~~~~~*** I also witnessed the manager lady turning the bag of bread upside down to get the loaf out since it was so tightly packed in. The bread came out straight onto the counter with no pan, foil, parchment paper. The counter was the general counter used for drinks, food, toasting and was subject to cleaning. Who knows what else was on the counter? This is suspect food handling in the name of efficiency. I do know this is Chinatown, so people do cut corners. However, this is quite eye opening.***~~~Overall, very good product! But also very high pricing and suspect food handling!!! I won't be a regular customer, but I definitely appreciate good ol' delicious tasting carbs once in a while.

I went to theee uncles toast on a Sunday around noon. The restaurant was empty most of the time we were there but they were definitely busy. The service here was good, they offered tips for first timers (us). It took a while to get our food though. They had playing cards (which were nice to play with while we waited). The toast was pretty good but not mind blowing. They were out of the chocolate bread & were going to restock around 3-4pm (too long of a wait for us). The rose bread was good with a subtle hint of rose. The corn toast was ok (it was just the plain toast with some corn in it). The matcha toast was good too, just a subtle hint of matcha. The star of the show was the chocolate lava toast. This was their toast filled with a delicious chocolate ganache. If I went back here I'd 100% get this. The drinks were also pretty good. We got the impossible chocolate tiramisu & the ube drink and they were both good. I like the chocolate tiramisu more personally.Overall, I'd probably go back here for the chocolate lava toast. I personally wouldn't get the plain toast again but it was a fun experience!

Hard to give a restaurant anything below rating especially with those orange boxes, orange packages and orange chairs. Meanwhile, the place is not overwhelmed with orange color. Yeah, orange is my favorite color. So, did the breads. Browsing through the shelves of orange boxes... OMG. There are actually breads in them. Then, there were some more, lots more, boxes stacked up in the corner by the window. So cute. I hope they get used up daily. Hate to see them trying to decorate the restaurant with empty boxes. My first-time hearing about Three Uncles Toast 三叔叔手工吐司 was from the mall directory. I searched on Google to see what composed it to be unique. They specialize in breads for toasts 吐司 which can be sliced to different thickness. I like mine whole because I can eat fresh sliced piece the way I want. The sizes are pretty well designed. I normally look for personal sized toast in supermarket. But the smallest toast is still too big. At Three Uncles, these breads are baked fresh daily. Unlike grocery stores keep theirs for days. Which means, the breads don't have preservatives. One thing I didn't care for was the lava toast. It's like a hot pocket. It was messy to eat. My durian one didn't have a lot of durian flavor and it was oily. It's okay. I'll be back to try other toasts.

I was terribly intrigued by this place and finally went in on a Saturday afternoon. I've never heard of it but assumed it was all about bread - and it is! It's a chain from a mainland China, first opened 2017 in Nanjing, and this is their first North American store. I can't find much about it in English online - in fact, the only English information I found online is about this store in particular. What I found was in Chinese and I wasn't in the mood to read further than the basics. Sorry. The Chinese name translates to "Three Uncles Handmade Toast" and that's exactly what they do: they bake bread fresh daily. First off, I dropped a lot more money than I expected here. I wasn't really greeted when I walked in but there were people eating. It was clean and sparsely decorated. They have limited seating on one side of the store including maybe 3 small tables and some counter seats. The other half is adorned by shelving that displays orange bags of bread. They're accompanied by tags that tell you what's inside as well as the price and WOW do they add up FAST. I wonder how much they sell these for in China because I cannot see Asian people buying a loaf of bread for $10-$13 EACH. Not even $5 (unless cost of living has changed that much since I last lived there??). And I'm not talking Costco sized. I'm talking artisanal loaves. If you bake, they look like something that would come out of a Pullman loaf pan but not as long. That is to say a rectangular prism. I looked at the bags first and there were maybe 5 tags that were not accompanied by bags. They were sold out! I ended up grabbing a bag of "rose toast" and I finally saw an employee and asked how they worked and if what's on the wall was all they had. She said they just took out fresh Crown toast from the oven and so I added that to my "cart." Depending on the flavor, they may not make more for the day. I did like how every bag had a sticker that included the ingredients for the flavor. IT IS NOT VEGAN OR GLUTEN-INTOLERANT FRIENDLY. From the 6 I pulled down to read, they all included high gluten flour, eggs, and milk. Some also contains cheese... like Crown toast. Also, they do offer a few savory options as well as drinks, both of which I opted out of this visit.I also discovered Lava Toast, which they make fresh in store for you to eat. Essentially, they're 2 slices of toast stuffed with a filling of your choice and toasted to crumbly-crispy perfection. I decided to add that as well. The boba one. I finally tasted them all so my thoughts?CROWN TOAST - This is circular and has 6 segments that you can pull apart. They're stuffed with a plain cream cheese filling. Not completely stuffed as in there are empty pockets, but I didn't feel cheated. We didn't toast this one and the bread itself is pillowy soft. Yum! Hubby liked this best. My daughter thought the filling was weird. Lol. She picked at it. I wish they made a bag in a circle shape just for this (I thought it was popular?) because the 'crown' was slightly lopsided, but I guess they just want to order one size bag. This was $13. ROSE TOAST - the rose flavor was very subtle but you could see bits of petals here and there along with a light pink swirl. I thought it was fun. Not sure if it's worth $13 because I only got 7-8 slices out of it. I sliced this at home and toasted it. I buttered half. Both sides tasted good and I enjoyed it but the price makes me balk. BOBA LAVA TOAST - they've got a special device to cook this! It's stuffed with ONLY boba and looks reminiscent to the frozen Smuckers PB&J "sandwiches" with crimped edges, except this is bigger, fresh, golden, and square. It is FILLED to the brim. OMG so many calories in this thing. LOL. For some odd reason, I thought there would also be a milk tea custard component. I was so very wrong. I do love the perfectly toasted outside and if you love Tapioca, you'd definitely love this. I shared it because (1) I like room temperature food and it was a bit hot for me and (2) that's a lot of carbs. The boba inside is good though. It's $6.99 so.... Hm. Slightly more than a cup of boba milk tea. Not terrible, but still on the higher end.Overall, not bad. They could reduce the price across the board and they might get more regular customers, but the bread is delicious and has straightforward ingredients. I definitely want to return to try the durian lava toast - most expensive ($9?) and I hope they use musang and it's equally as stuffed. As of now, I think the Crown Toast is my favorite.

Saw this place on social media and it seemed really good so I came to try it out. Entering the store we were greeted by the cashier, she's very friendly and gave us recommendations on what's their popular breads. Overall the store is bright and clean, would be a cute study spot or hangout date spot. They also got some board games to play. I ordered the boba lava toast, but it wasn't really overflowing on the inside like a lava dessert. It's just a toast stuffed with boba. Boba was chewy but lacked sweetness or flavor, and the toast is just normal. I was little sad because it wasn't what I was expecting. Maybe I should try their actual breads there, which seemed to have a lot more variety like hokkaido or durian. I would come back and try their drinks too, just maybe not their lava toast anymore.

Everything here is excellent. The Thai tea and various breads and sweets are all excellent. One thing really blew my mind... the cream cheese toast. It's like a bunch of cream cheese danishes in the form of a big loaf of bread. Brilliant!! Delicious!!!!

Maybe dining in is better, like the lava toasts- which I didn't try... I got 2 loaves to go and didn't really like either one. I took home the Hokkaido milk bread and the chocolate crown bread. They were both "meh". The chocolate crown bread had cream cheese chocolate, so the chocolate filling was barely sweet and had an underlying cream cheese flavor. Maybe they would have tasted better microwaved. I bought 2 loaves on a Friday, kept the bags on the counter at room temp, and by Monday they were both moldy. Would recommend eating within 1-2 days or keeping it in the fridge, to prevent mold.

I got the hokkaido milk and matcha toast loaf. They were not flavorful and bland. I really wanted to like this place. Not sure if dining in will be different.
