I always come here for the salted egg banh bao and it never disappoints. I also ordered the banh mi and it wasn't my favorite. $6 and not as much meat.

It is a really good steak and the bread is so good. You will need to order more bread because one is not enough.

The best bo ne/Vietnamese steak and egg. The beef is so tender and it just melts in your mouth. Their pate and butter also goes great with the bread. Portions are really good. You definitely will be filled up. Bo ne is one of those cuisines that you have to take your time to eat in order to savor every taste. This place is a hidden gem. Located in a small plaza. The inside isn't too big so there can be a wait when it's crowded. Always be careful when you're eating bo ne because it comes out on a sizzling hot plate. You can practically see the steam coming out of it. It's always exciting because it smells so good and it's best to eat while it's sizzling. This place has become my favorite place to get bo ne in town.

They have tasty banh bao (pork buns) and a variety of Vietnamese specialty desserts. Got a mix of salted and normal egg buns - both are delicious, and have a piece of chinese sausage (lap xuong) in them.I also got tofu pudding and yogurt with fermented rice on top - sữa chua nếp cẩm, its something I havent had in forever since I came to the US. The service was very fast and if you pay by cash, its cheaper.

I've been frequenting Thiem Hung Bakery for years and I absolutely love their Bánh Bao! They used to have a seating area for Bo Ne sizzling plates but after COVID, they're only operating as a to-go restaurant. My fave is their salty egg Bánh Bao and even though it's 25c extra, I think it's worth the splurge every time! Both versions of the baos will have a generous portion of mince pork, mushroom, skinny vermicelli noodles, and a dash of green onions. The bao texture is soft and bouncy, though a little too thick for my liking.I also love their salted egg cupcakes and flan cake. The savory cupcakes pair amazingly well with the salted eggs, cubed cheese, and pork floss. The flan is smooth and soft, with the perfect amount of bitterness from the cocoa sponge cake. You cannot go wrong with either of these!I tried their combination Bánh Mì once and was disappointed. The flavor was lackluster and portion was also small for $6. I was genuinely surprised how bad this was considering everything else is delicious. The waiting area can get a little too crowded with 4+ people standing. Service has been welcoming and tentative, even though sometimes they try a little too hard to up-sale.

I love the change over to the Traditional Dough Recipe. May be a tad less sweet. The Minced Pork tastes better to me as well. The bakery that does not stand still...The other anchoring item on the menu: the Banh Mi also has a lift with the addition of the very thin Stick Baguette. I ate one with buttered with Pate and Flossed Pork. Concentrated richness of protein- No veggies that day!

I had bánh bao and nước mía today. The bánh bao was big, lots of meat and great flavor, not too salty. The dough could be better, flaky and sticky, not chewy. I saw they had sandwiches and salty eggs pound cake but I didn't try it. I gave a 5 for the nước mía. $7 buy two get one free!
