The Wet Deck

First time to Wet Deck with friends and it was a wonderful time! Plenty of parking, relaxed vibe, talented live music, full beer and liquor bar, plus great food truck. We stayed for sunset and it was beautiful. Highly recommend for date night.

Came here to eat and drink by the lake and was a great atmosphere. Gave it a one star because we ordered and it didn't come out til 40 minutes later. Also, the corn tortillas were stale, missing sides (hush puppy's) on an order, and drinks were meh.

The ambiance of this place is very laid back, relaxing, and simple but full of character. The layout makes this place simple, open floor plan with a bar centeralized to be able to keep a view on patrons. The best part, the huge deck wirh tables to enjoy conversation while enjoying an ice cold beer. The deck wraps around a large tree that provides shade as you watch the sunset over Lake Livingston. People: it's Texas, everybody here is neighbors. You're guaranteed to get a warm welcoming "hello" from the locals. Food: the kitchen and bathrooms are still out of commission. However they donprovidw a food truck and port-a-johns. If you order from the food truck stay away from the hotwings, get a hambergwr instead. Service: the employees seem to enjoy working here. They're smiling and seem to be well liked bybthe clientel. I enjoyed their kindness, HOWEVER, do not expect them to ruch you a drink. Kick back, relqx, and enjoy the atmoshphere. Your drink will make it to you. This was my first visit here, I look forward to enjoying this place each time I return to Livingston.

I went there before they closed for remodeling and the burgers were delicious and huge. At the moment they seem to be back open without the kitchen for the moment. But I have heard their steak night that they have now is very good and they have food trucks until they can get the kitchen open.

LOVE this place and the view is absolutely stunning!! But MOST of all the SUNSETS, out of this world beautiful! They actually just rebuilt this establishment and you have to see it with your own eyes to understand how remarkable this place is!! The food is like homemade from your momma's house, and the vibe is like a fun laid back atmosphere of good ole people and amazing activities! So go play some shuffle board, enter the pool or dart tournament if you are feeling really friskyyyy, and get ya some new Facebook profile pics by having someone take your picture on the deck during an out of this universe sunset! I know the kitchen isn't open yet but what I don't understand is "no kids!" We brought our granddaughters there to eat the Captains platter and they loved it but NO KIDS after 4? We're gonna eat and then leave not keep them there and party with them?! You lose service with that!? ‍

Great service and food. We sat on the patio with our dog and had tasty burgers. Good shade from umbrellas for the afternoon. Someone mentioned portable toilets but I think that might have been when they were building. Bathrooms inside looked open and available. The server will take your order and get your drinks but they call your name when your food is ready and you go get it inside. We will be back when in the area.

I saw photos of this place and it looked like a nice place to spend some time this evening. Didn't know it would be ALL evening! I walked out to the deck and sat at a table. A waitress got drinks for the couple at the next table. She didn't even acknowledge me sitting there. I got up and moved to a table closer to the lake. Ordered a margarita and some wings and fries. The drink came out after a while, but seemed to be watered down. I waited and waited for the food. There was a "large" table of 12 people and maybe 6 or 7 other tables (some with only 2 people) outside and about the same number of tables inside. There were only 2 waitresses semi-working the deck area. They would take food and drink orders, but you had to go inside to get the food. This is nothing fancy. Even the large table could have been treated at 2 tables of 6. Burgers, club sandwiches, poboys, wings. Nothing that should have taken so long. Everyone was waiting for over an hour. I almost got up and walked out. The wings finally came out. I was told it was creamy garlic parmesan sauce when I ordered. It came out as a dry rub. The crinkle fries were barely fried. I had to get someone's attention to pay my bill. The kitchen and wait staff need a lot of work and some customer service training. The restroom had no paper towels. The good: the view, the wings are a decent size.

Hi Friend, The Wet Deck it's like drinking at a construction site. There's is a porta potty Patrons are dressed in construction clothing There's a food truck There Flies all over the place There is a Overall feeling as if OSHA is coming in for site inspection There was a rocking band The server should have worn an orange vest with a construction helmet but she was wearing work boots !I'm not sure but there were a couple of guys warming up outside near a raging fire in a trash can
