The Tavern Oceanside Hotel

The Tavern is connected to Oceanside Hotel which is a historic building with tons of character. I was staying at the hotel and found the tavern to be super convenient! Their is outdoor seating at a table or the bar with fans going or inside options with AC! The servers were quiet but friendly and attentive. They still had breakfast going at 11am which was nice for late risers and the breakfast sandwhich was pretty good. 3 eggs on a sandwhich and a choice of potatoes or fruit. This place is a bout a block from the beach and has a nice vibe!

Amazing customer service. Beautiful ambiance. We sat outside. Ordered the scrambled veggie omelette. Shared the banana strawberry waffle. Only con I would say is the salt and pepper shakers were rusty and I couldn't get anything out of them. Will go again.

A beautiful patio restaurant in Miami Beach.Top items were the coconut shrimp, and the cod sandwich.Burgers got a thumbs up as well.We will drop in again next time we visit.

Large party and have been really disappointed by the other places we've tried. We stopped by out of convenience and mannnn did they not disappoint! We actually did it this spot for breakfast twice out of our long weekend trip to Miami. The food and service were all really great. The staff was very accommodating and attentive to the table and its needs without someone getting irritated. Highly recommend this place.

Food was excellent. I was recommended by a friend that Safi was someone to go visit at the bar. She did not disappoint! Amazing drinks, top tier customer service, & exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be back for her service and wonderful ambiance!

The food was "OK". The place looks really nice, we were sitting outside. The only thing I would like to suggest its that they need to work on their customer service.

I wasn't expecting much from this place and somehow it still managed to disappoint. Very understaffed, had to seat myself waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Also had to ask many times for water and to be order. As far as food, I had the shrimp scampi, pasta was good, shrimp tasted super dry and old, I also had the balsamic salmon, which I sent back because it was literally balsamic glaze over salmon- could not eat it.

Probably the best burger I have ever had. The Tavern burger with bacon and sauté onions was amazing. Great service and great martinis.

When I went to review this, it averaged 3 stars. I'm guessing management or chef turned over, because I ate here 4 times in the last 3 days and each meal was excellent. The Mahi with veggies was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Burger was stellar. Omelette was stuffed with fresh veggies. Ingredients and prep was spot on. In fact, I kept saying how grateful I was to find this gem. Service was great -- shout out to Carlito. I'd highly recommend this spot.
