The Shack

My daughter-law referred me to "The Shack" in Sugarland after hearing me brag on how wonderful my double cheese burger was from Smash Burger in Pearland. So I went there the Ambiance was very Sugarlandesh. Meaning clean, tidy, and modern. They use automation there to place your order so since I was new I asked for a little help. The friendly lady who was helping everybody gave me a moment of her time and helped me place my order.Upon receiving my order I notice it was a really well put together burger. Everything as promised was there now it was time to take a bite and decide for myself what's up with this burger. As I proceeded to bite into the burger everything was all there the lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo. Except for the most important ingredient, it was DRY. No moistness whatsoever what is the point of eating a dry burger and it looked so good too.

Boudin balls are smoked and fried. Good spice and a great flavor. The peach cobbler is perfect, sweet and flavorful! Will be back to try the steam table in the future.

I've only tried the boudain balls and boudain links. Both are amazin. Service has always been great. Slightly tight on the inside.

Service was good just a bit slow, although they are seeking help. Our food came out hot and GOOD! We were all satisfied and impressed with our meals. We got the Cajun sausage, brisket sandwich, and the loaded boudain ( our favorite). The food was seasoned well and the bbq sauce was tasty. They have a cool covered patio where we waited. Definitely will return, will probably just call the order in next time

I'm not sure who made the boudin with brisket like concoction but they were a genius. Smoked Boudain with an actual Smokey oaky taste. With cheese, brisket and sour cream (optional). Different taste, try it. Breakfast is served here as well. They've upped their bbq game and added other things to the menu such as burgers, nachos and breakfast. The service was outstanding. The flavor of the smoke on the meat was delicious. So many great items to pick from. I highly recommend the plate dinners and on Sunday you can't go wrong with a home cooked meal.

Wow! I'm from California but live in Oregon. We don't have bbq like this in Oregon.. I didn't get her name but I was greeted by a lovely lady that helped me with my order. I ordered brisket, sausage, and chicken with cabbage and beans on the side. Bomb.. delicious... I currently work in Dallas and had to come out here to visit. Well I also got the double cheeseburger for my road trip.. I ain't going to lie I sampled it bomb delicious... yall need to get out to this spot.. this is a hidden diamond!!

Very disappointed... Definitely could have been better. The cashier was very nice and helpful. But I feel like I wasted my money for the food... Actions speak louder than words. Didn't want to throw it in the trash. I'll rather eat Roman Noodles

Came here to avoid having low quality fast food,This is a great hole in the wall type spot, good food, service, and a whole private patio outside, with fans.Will definitely be back.

Sloppy potato I could have made at home myself. On top of them forgetting to make 2 potatoes ordered, through delivery app, they forgot one. Shit was straight trash and the cashiers are ghetto with no knowledge of what goes on!
