The Roystone

What hip and cool spot to go to in Miami. The Roy stone gives the vibe of a speak easy but located in this beautiful historic building. Someone on the elevator told us it was the first post office building in Miami FL. Don't know if it's true but it is a cool building. The Roystone is on the third floor and right underneath is the very nice biscayne bay brewing company. Great brewery and an even prettier bar. The roystone is an even more upscale version of this. It is dark and classy. All the vibes to go and have a chill or even crazy night. The music on that night was great. They played a bit of everything. We ordered at the bar and then sat down. It wasn't too crazy since it was a Wednesday night. A server came to talk to us for a bit and asked if we wanted anything else. We were good and I have to say the drinks were excellent. I'll definitely go back. Visit the brewery again and then hit up the roystone.

This place is absolutely going to become a hot spot. This speakeasy low key craft cocktail lounge was unsuspecting from the outside in an old historic building. The gold elevator doors a sign of the opulence you will be met with upstairs. The space is decked to the 9s and covered with ornate details. The part which really blew me away was the stained glass ceiling. The presentation and the creation of the drinks are a work of art. I got the Gutsy Girl cocktail which was super unique with the charred cinnamon stick and orange twist. It was really strong so I only needed one! Absolutely will be back again

Not bad, ambiance is good, drinks were OK. Service was good. Prices were a bit high but it was a fun place to check out.

Date night at the Roystone is a great experience with a nice dark vibe, great music, and a friendly staff. I love the feel of this bar as it reminds you of a NYC style vibe. There is plenty of standing and seating room. We came on a Sunday so it was very enjoyable as there were not that many people and my wife and I were able to enjoy the full experience. I'm sure this bar has gained popularity and it may be safe to assume it can get busy. The bartenders are great and helpful in drink recommendations. The manager here was fantastic and even took the time to ask if we were enjoying ourselves. Before our departure the bar gave out shots to all guests to enjoy on the house.

Amazing place. Went for a couple drinks stayed for food and more drinks. lol. Had a great time. Ambiance and decor is in line a bit pricey but the quality and the place is there. Had fun. I say go and give it a try!

A much needed great cocktail bar in Downtown with a sophisticated ambiance and even better service. A hidden gem for now.

I was really disappointed by this place! I will say, the vibes are amazing. The decor of the bar and the music were great to set a really nice atmosphere. My disappointment came from the drinks and the service. We ordered a few of the specialty cocktails that were priced over $20 and they were just not great. That's fine, it could have just been our personal taste. We decided to skip the fancy cocktails and stick to the basics, so we ordered some simply drinks. My brother ordered a gin and tonic, but when he got the drink back we realized it was a gin and water. We went up to the bar to get the drink fixed and the bartender gave us such attitude, basically saying what do you want me to do about it? Then told us to buy another drink. We weren't going to argue so we said ok no worries, can we have another gin and tonic. The bartender proceeds to pour gin and sparkling water.... We point out that AGAIN we are not getting a gin and tonic and she shrugged and said we don't have tonic.... I would expect to be informed that there's no tonic before we purchased another drink we just complained about being wrong.

I was delighted with the place; I tried the seafood grill and it couldn't have been better! I loved Danny's service; we had a very pleasant conversation with him, and I liked the way he explained each dish to us. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to!

Do Not Got to this place. This is a scam and they up charge you with everything and the service is a disaster. Food was not bad the price doesn't worth it. You get get better service for the same amount and good food elsewhere
