The service was great and the food was delicious. Came here with family the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We all got an assortment of food, and everyone loved it. We shared the deviled eggs appetizer, and I split the chargrilled oysters with my cousin.

I went for my birthday in May. Let me tell you something run don't walk to this establishment. We went during lunch time. They have a awesome lunch menu. I opted for the 2 for 18. Crawfish etouffee and the Salad Rouxpour. Plus I had to try the dinner oysters. I chose the Oyster Bienville and Chargrilled Rockefeller half dozen order. Baby the oysters were everything and more. Nice huge pieces and they did not skimp on anything. The salad and etouffee were also pretty good but the oysters stole the show. They were so good I went back a few days later lol... Server was awesome and very attentive. Definitely check em out.

Great on service, but falls flat on flavor. Lovely restaurant with patio seating which is perfect when the weather is agreeable. However, when up against the other Cajun restaurants in the city, this one pales in comparison.

I've seen this place for about 10 years since bay brook has had this restaurant area. Came to eat here and I'm upset I haven't been here before. Aside from the terrible lighting(4 stars not 5). This place is definitely where I'm choosing again. Here and Viola and Agnes lol. Strarted with Cajun deviled eggs, fantastic.Gumbo was spectacular but my favorite is elsewhere. Sorry , still great gumbo. Our waitress, Taylor Lewis. Sweetest most knowledgeable waitress I've had in a while. As much as I eat out in Galveston county. She is bar far the best. Thanks so much. You definitely have to come. Good job guys and girls.

It is located in restaurant row outside at Baybrook Mall. Parking is hit or miss with it being busy most of the time. So Rouxpour is touted as an upscale cajun cuisine and oyster bar. My intention was to dine in for lunch only because prices seemed a bit steep. So we managed to get there around 2:10 in the afternoon. However, I was informed I missed the lunch menu by 10 mins and dinner was being served? The server just apologized. Most restaurants with continuous service serve lunch from 11 to 4 pm. I was a bit irritated but rolled with the kick to the gut to put it lightly. We started off with the Cajun Blackened Shrimp Deviled Eggs. Interesting pairing for the palate, and it did have a good flavor with a kick due to the infusion of cayenne pepper. My daughter loves their cajun pork chops and thoroughly enjoyed them. I went with the Blackened Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was slightly overcooked.Chicken, when cooked to its proper temp, would be juicy and succulent. The ingredients included bacon, 2 slices of provolone cheese and mayo. It was complimented by a side of seasoned fries. Sweet potato fries were offered as well. Overall decent portion size for both of our entrees. Unfortunately, we didn't get to indulge into any of their desserts! I do know I would have loved to try the Bananas Foster and Creme de Brulee. I would like to come back in the future and try their other lunch pairings that I had my mind on.

I definitely have to state the level of appreciation for this location over the one in Sugar Land. This could be due to size as the Baybrook one is more roomy and has a live performer. (Bonus)Nevertheless, the food and service is unbelievable in either location. My dish was the one displayed in the pics, filled with flavors creating the desire to once again visit this dining establishment and see what more creativity they maybe in store.Seating was spacious, the lighting was great. Of course the addition of music adds to quiet and relaxed comfort of romance or just enjoying a meal out. I thoroughly, enjoined the dish to the not so bitter, but very much so delicious end. Extra appreciation comes with having dishes on the menu for the vegan connoisseur of fine dishes. Bravo! Definitely an Encore is in order. Until the next one Bye-Bye!

A friend and I decided to try this one out. I personally have never had Cajun before (say what!?). I decided to try the Cajun Omelette for brunch. OMG! This was SO GOOD! I loved it! It had eggs, sausage, peppers, onions, and even some crab on it! There was a small piece of cornbread - sweet and just a touch of heat - the way I love it. And potatoes - sweet potatoes mixed with white and seasoned with Cajun spices. I was super impressed and will definitely come back. PS: the setting is nice too, especially the bathroom! (see photos).

I am from New Orleans, and very dubious about trying restaurants that claim to be New Orleans food. Rouxpour made me feel like I was in New Orleans. The chargrilled oysters were so delicious. We got the traditional and the Rockerfeller and they were both amazing. For entrees we ordered stuffed flounder and red snapper. The crab stuffing in the flounder had the right amount of flavor, and the crawfish, crab and avocado sauce on the red snapper was delicate, creamy and every bite was a delight. Finally, the chocolate cake was creamy and decadent, and the bananas Foster was a joy for the mouth! Last, but certainly not least, was our server Andre! He was attentive, informative and just a great server. Thank you Andre for making our anniversary lovely.
