The Republic Grille

Wonderful evening with family. Party of 6 and we were seated immediately at 5:45 PM.Sam our waitress was very attentive and informative about her menu.Meals arrived quickly and as ordered. Salad portions were massive and tasty. One Caesar salad had some brown tips.Salmon and blackened flounder were excellent. Kids meals looked healthy. Our large table area had a huge dinner party that was rocking!We will return and we recommend!Pricing was reasonable.

The food was amazing. Great atmosphere and the service was top notch. I really enjoyed my food and time here.

The service is great. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We had the shrimp and grits, gumbo with crawfish, shrimp, chicken and sausage. Quite the huge bowl, Mac n cheese was amazing. No complaints. Very good place to eat.

Such a great place to stop and get lunch! First time here and it was so great. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day! Our waitress coco was amazing and took care of us. I have never seen such good service in a long time from any restaurant. She is a 10/10! Attention to detail through me off, she told us congrats and noticed I was engaged without telling her. The food was delicious! Coco recommended I get the special and it was no disappointment. I will definitely come back. My Italian fiancé is picky with his pasta and it did not disappoint him.

My second time in the restaurant was just as good as the first! Friendly waitresses and fresh food made from scratch, set this family oriented, casual restaurant, apart from many chains.Our group ordered coconut shrimp, a shrimp, platter, French onion, soup, a wedge salad, and a chicken pasta dish. Everything was very good. We also tried two desserts. One was a brownie with ice cream, which was very good and a peach cobbler that unfortunately didn't meet the expectation. It tasted like flour and not much else. We couldn't eat it, but are willing to overlook it since everything else is so delightful. I think if I lived closer to this restaurant, I would come once a week.

Came here for chicken fried steak as it is one of their specialty dishes. I was not disappointed! Outstanding chicken fried steak and the side dishes of jalapeño creamed corn and asparagus were delicious too! From the moment I entered the restaurant to the time the food came out was exactly 10 minutes. Service was excellent and plenty of parking. Interior was nice and clean. A very well run restaurant. I hope to come back next time I am in Texas. Highly recommended.

Superb service! The drinks and food were amazing. My wife still talks about the chicken fried steak she ate and we mention the salted caramel pistachio cheese cake to anyone who will listen. This was the first time I had something "salted Caramel" and actually tasted and enjoyed the salted part. Damn now I want the cheesecake again!

Republic Grill - Not as Good as it used to beIt had been a while since our last visit to Republic Grill, so the two of us opted to try them again for a nice lunch. While the service was friendly and attentive, the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the fish and chips lunch. It came with three heavily breaded strips of fish. While the outside of the breading was fully-cooked and crispy, the breading was so thick that the inside portion was still very doughy and un-cooked. I also ordered their "famous" onion rings, only to have french fries delivered instead. I mentioned this to the waiter and she came back a few minutes later with an order of onion rings. However, the rings were luke-warm, at best, and lacking any flavor. Overall, I had expected more from this place based on my previous experiences and left a bit disappointed in this visit.

The menu is huge! There is something for everyone. Picked up a Greek salad on Friday and it is one of the best Greek salads I've ever had! The dressing really make it come together. Today I picked up chicken Marsala and it was a delight. You have the option of picking two sides. From veggies, to Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and so many others. I opted for mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. They were both very tasty. The Marsala sauce was delicious. The restaurant was very busy nonetheless they provide great customer service.

I saw the reviews by other helpers knew that I wanted to try this place.As we walked in, I felt a warm and welcoming vibe. The modern design and decorations were tasteful and felt very comfortable. The service was good and courteous... I would have liked to see the servers be more attentive and friendlier. It wasn't bad by any means, but this alone would have pushed my rating to a 4 stars.Food was tasty. My only complaint is that the chicken fried Wagyu steak wasn't really tender. The quality of steak (especially in the state of Texas) was tough and chewy. This was disappointing.The peach cobbler was especially good. Crust was crispy and the filing was not too sweet. From a guy who really doesn't enjoy desserts, this is high praise.I would probably come back if I'm in the area again.
