The spaghetti is delicious. It was full of meat and a very nice portion. Very happy about my order and I'm looking forward to eating it again.

Love the well run, friendly service, really good home-cooking food joints in small town Texas towns and this place does not disappoint at all. We drove up from Houston area to try and we will be back. Had the country fried steak and ribeye and both were excellent.

For a country diner, you just can't beat this place. Food is great. Banana pudding is out of the this world. but they have a steak on Friday night that is cooked by the owner big ribeye. Absolutely the best steak I've had in years.

Good service and good food and plenty of it for the price. Will go back as many times as possible.

Great cafe with amazingly good food! While traveling through Cleveland and after reading previous reviews, we decided to stop here for dinner. What a great choice! The service was superb and the food was amazing! Freshly made with good wholesale ingredients, everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. We had a party of 3 and here's what we ordered-1. Monte Christo w/ Onions rings. The Onion Rings were HUGE and SO good!2. Fried fish and Shrimp plate w/ FriesFreshly cooked and the shrimp were huge!3. Shrimp Fettuccine Nicely flavored, perfect amount of shrimp and huge portion! Would definitely stop here again!!!

I went by this place a few months ago while going to Houston and noticed it was packed!!! The parking lot was full, but it's one of those buildings that just don't jump out at you. It's a very regular looking building, nothing special, but once you go inside it really opens up and is a lot bigger than it looks on the outside and the decor inside is really cool! There are old license plates decorating the entrance and there are old signs and other things decorating the walls all inside. Our waitress was very friendly, outgoing, and helpful! I wish I could remember her name we loved her and she was always coming back to check on us and fill our drinks!!! I had already read their reviews and was set on what I was going to order! I ordered the large chicken fried steak with cream gravy, FF's and a side salad with Bleu cheese dressing and sweet tea. My wife ordered the small chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and cream gravy with a side salad and Ranch dressing. Our 7 year old ordered his standby of a cheeseburger with Fries and a coke! We also had appetizers of a half order of fried green tomatoes and a half order of fried mushrooms that were so delicious we could have made a meal of them!!! Our waitress brought our salads out not long after our appetizers. The salads were really good and the bowls they brought them out in were very cold and the salads were very fresh and the dressings were made in house and really hot the spot! We had time to finish our salads and most of our appetizers before she brought our chicken fried steaks out along with our boys cheeseburger. Oh my goodness! My Chicken fried steak took up a lot of the plate with little room left for my fries!!! They were so good and the portions were big enough that neither one of us finished our meal and had to get to go boxes!!! I certainly recommend trying the Ranch Hand Cafe out if your in the area! It's one of the best Chicken fried Steaks I've ever had!! A lot better than some that claim to have the best!!! It should be in the top 10 in Texas. We really enjoyed the ambience here too! Just a laid back little place with friendly and outgoing people.

As a first time visitor, I was excited to visit this place. After my parents moved to Cleveland 2 years ago, I would see this restaurant every time I drove by every weekend. Finally stopped by yesterday and it was worth the wait.You're greeted by great staff with under 5 minute wait time. The restaurant feels homey and rustic.The fried pickles are lightly crisped and the ranch is very delicious. Homemade flavor for both.The chicken friend chicken is delicious, not burnt and just the right amount of crispyness. The mashed potatoes and broccoli paired up greatly and the gravy was soupy but not runny. Perfect for the Texas toast to be dipped in. For dad had the burger! As a fan of spicyness, he was very content with the spicy fried jalapeños and the habanero sauce drizzle. The drinks were perfect as well. The Arnold Palmer was very well ratioed and the sweet tea was very well balanced. It was very delicious overall and will definitely be back again. Lastly, the price was very well placed!! Definitely recommend!!

I have been looking forward to trying their chicken and dumplings for months. We finally made the drive there for lunch. They did not disappoint. The chicken and dumplings were delicious. I had to order some chicken w d dumplings to go so I could share with my daughter and son.My husband had the Caribbean chicken salad. He said it was delicious. The salad was so large it was served on a platter. In addition he ordered the fried pickles, he said they were the best he has ever had. I don't like pickles but I had to sample one. I have to admit they were very good that I had a few more. The batter was very light and crispy. They weren't drowning in oilWe look forward to our next visit. Perhaps you could make the dumplings as a daily special on the menu so we can plan a return trip ahead of time! Our server was excellent, she appears to enjoy her job!

Surprise surprise! This isn't some frozen bar food serving place. The local know good homemade food and you can tell that from the parking lot being full of cars. We were VERY IMPRESSED! Fettuccini had house made sauce and it was delicious.The pan grilled catfish was so good my husband ordered one to take to go so he could eat it again tomorrow.Yes, no disappointment here.

The food has so much that they hand make, and it's sooo good! Do yourself a favor and save room for banana pudding. Excellent service, as a bonus!
