Always on point, super fast turnaround. Always my go to for wings and fries. My recommendation is lemon pepper hot.

Small wings, lack of sauce, and living off a reputation from the past from the looks of things. I never seen such small wings, who even sells these?Not worth it, seen similar recent reviewers across several platforms with the same experience.

I used to love JR crickets but it's like they're always in a rush and the wings m are undercooked and under sauced all the time

Been in person several dozen times to this location, the wings are some of my favorite in the city. Service can be slow slow sometimes here but I love coming here to grab wings.

Our first time there and the environment was nice! They had the games on and it wasn't too busy for early Sunday night. There was ONE server and she KILLED IT! She kept a great attitude the entire night even though it got crowded when we were about to leave. It didn't take too long for our food to come out. My friend got ribs and said they were DELICIOUS and my wings and fries were good. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Despite seeing so many polarizing reviews of J.R. Crickets, my partner and I still decided to go for the experience, as it was my first time in Atlanta. We got to the restaurant right as it opened and ordered a 20-piece combo of wings, which came with fries. We got lemon pepper wet (hot sauce and lemon pepper) and the dirty bird (barbecue sauce and lemon pepper). The service was friendly but not the most efficient; I think it took approximately 25-30 minutes to get our wings. While the wings were pretty small, they were not as tiny as some of the other reviewers claimed, so my expectations had already been exceeded. The wings were piping hot and remained crispy though they were smothered in sauce. I enjoyed the lemon pepper wet more than the dirty bird because of the vinegary tang and heat, but now appreciate the flavor combo of barbecue sauce and lemon pepper. The fries were just okay; they were decently crispy but did not have any seasoning on them. I'm glad I was able to try this Atlanta institution but don't think that they are the absolute best that ATL has to offer.

Hadn't had wings in five years. And BOY was this the right way to break the hiatus. The wings are so good. The service was also super fast, and you usually get a few extra wings thrown in. I will definitely be right back here for my next wing fix. Typical bar atmosphere, but definitely felt like your neighborhood spot with its regulars and friendly bartender. I stayed and watched the game for a bit and had a beer. That wasn't the plan initially, but it just felt right. A truly pleasant and satisfying experience.

Lemon pepper rub. That is all. :DWe stopped by first thing in the morning and got a fresh batch of wings to snack on to start the day. The wings were cooked to perfection, the lemon pepper rub was awesome and deserves the praise that it receives. Will be back.

Looking for great wings in Atlanta and had to stop in!We ordered: 10 piece hot, 10 piece wet lemon pepper with 5 shrimp, French fries, garden salad, sweet potato fries, fried mushrooms, and a side of celery with ranch and blue cheese. The wings were large and not breaded just fried (my preference for wings), sauces were great, tangy vinegary buffalo (hot could have been hotter but still good) and the wet lemon pepper is buffalo with lemon pepper.. enough said. It was delicious. Sides were also large - I did not realize we would have SO much food! The sweet potato fries and mushrooms were our favorites. Blue cheese and ranch is clearly made in house, this makes a huge difference, I'm not a fan of premade packaged blue cheese and ranch. Also didn't expect the salad to be so substantial!This is the original location, it has lots of character inside and service was decent! Food was fresh and came out quickly. Definitely enjoyed this stop! Great intro to wings in Atlanta.

Ordered from their food truck today and got the smallest wings ever - thought they were from a quail. Talk about shrink-flation! Tasty, but would have need to get two orders to equal a normal order.
