The wait staff was so attentive and lovely that it made our lunch that much more enjoyable! I got the shrimp and seafood chopped salad and it was lovely! They did not skimp at all on the seafood and it tasted so incredibly fresh! I ate the entire thing and it was a very big salad! My only complaint about this place was it was an absolute ice box inside. I was in a suit for a business meeting and I was freezing to the point of having shivers! Bring extra layers if you're going here to stay warm!

Great ambiance as I walked in! I was immediately greeted and asked if I had a reservation. I did not but was escorted to the bar area. The bar tender was very nice. My food took over an hour to come (hence why my picture is after my first bite lol). I heard them telling other patrons how backed up the kitchen was. I would have appreciated the same and possibly a complimentary drink or salad but was only thanked for my patience. My mom ordered a dessert and it took so long we cancelled. Now on to the branzino! Absolutely delicious! The artichoke and potatoes were so delicious I could have had more. Food is a 10/10 must try!

I had the pleasure of dining at Oceanaire Seafood [again this past weekend], and it was a delightful experience that transported me straight to the seaside, despite being nestled in the heart of Georgia. As someone who appreciates good seafood, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of their offerings. The service at Oceanaire is top-notch. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring my dining experience was smooth from start to finish. It's always a great sign when the service can match the quality of the food! The menu, although not vast, features a variety of seafood delights that seem to be carefully selected to cater to different palates. From the freshly shucked oysters to the grilled salmon, every dish I tried was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the seafood without overpowering its natural taste. Oceanaire manages to find a balance between affordability and a feeling of indulgence. While it's not the cheapest place around, the prices are justified by the quality of food and the overall dining experience. It's a good spot for those occasions when you want to treat yourself without breaking the bank. The portion sizes are the only aspect where Oceanaire might not meet everyone's expectations. While the dishes are exquisitely prepared, they are not overly generous, and one shouldn't expect to leave feeling stuffed. However, the quality of the ingredients and the presentation can make up for the size, especially if you're focusing on enjoying a lighter, finer meal.Overall, Oceanaire is a gem for seafood lovers in Georgia. With its excellent service, high-quality fare, and a cozy yet elegant ambiance, it's definitely worth a visit. Whether you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just in the mood for some good seafood, Oceanaire won't disappoint.

I had a phenomenal experience at The Oceanaire! I was pleasantly surprised by the service, food, and ambiance. I checked the Yelp reviews prior to my visit and I...let's say...went into this experience with low expectations. Looking back, it's unfortunate that others didn't get the same positive experience as I did. I loved it. We went for my friend's birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening and it was populated, but not super packed. We had a corner table of 4 and the best waiter. I wish I remembered his name because he definitely deserves an appreciation post. He was attentive, friendly, and recommended delicious options. He ensured we enjoyed our evening. I ordered: A mocktail -- the bartender took a stab at something specialScottish salmon -- blackened Sautéed green beans Garlic mash I have zero complaints. The food was delicious. Nothing lacked flavor. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at my overall experience--the food was phenomenal. I'm not a huge seafood eater, but I'd try this spot again. It was a relaxing and fun birthday celebration and everyone left happy.

Lunch for 2.- Ambiance (5*)Elevated decor and dining room. - Service (4*)Incredibly professional and friendly. Start of service was a little slow after initial interactions. I think the waiter disappeared for a good 10 minutes before taking our order. - Wedge Salad, $11 (4*)Good, fresh, normal wedge salad, though perhaps a little over dressed. - Calamari, $14 (2*)Breading was falling apart. - Dayboat Red Snapper, $45 (2*)Unfortunately nuked. Fish was overcooked and the pan sear was overly crusty (didn't think that was possible). Inside was mushy, and outside was... dare I say... sharp? - Asparagus, $14 (2*)Tough bottoms not trimmed.- Value (2*)$45 for an overcooked standalone piece of snapper. Sad. - Final WordGreat ambiance and service are not enough to save this rating. Oceannaire feels like a pretender. Case in point, the "catch of the day" which I didn't order was "farmed salmon".

Beautiful restaurant! I was able to treat my father to an early Father's Day celebration. We were able to seat immediately upon arrival. We made a reservation but from the looks of it, a reservation was not needed for the time/day we decided to go. From arrival to departure the service was great! Our server took plenty of time describing and recommending options. There were many items we never tried before and this special occasion was a good opportunity we took advantage of to try something new.The options were unique with the exception of a Basic fried shrimp dish - it was underwhelming. The menu is very pricey! Be ready to pay a substantial amount for delicious food, great service and beautiful ambiance.

The restaurant was highly praised for its delicious seafood and cocktails and for having a nice, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space. Some guests thought the staff were a bit snobby, but overall the service was great. The food was pricey, but most people felt it was worth it because it was so good. The chef wouldn't change the steak to have Worcestershire or a recommended sauce, but it still tasted really good. And people loved the seafood tower, even though it was meant to be shared. Star of the night was the seafood ceviche!

The food is excellent. This is your typical upscale restaurant with overpriced entrees. We went on a Thursday and it was empty. Our server Hailey was awesome. I booked my reservation on open table and noted that I was celebrating a birthday, and they brought out a surprise birthday dessert that they charged us for. I don't think you should charge customers for a dessert they didn't select or wish to receive, but the gesture was nice. The martinis were small and not filled to the rim.

We came in Thursday night about 30-60 minutes before closing and sat at the bar. It was quiet and maybe 1 other person when we arrived; a cpl people and 2 couples came and it was a little livelier for a while. Initially the bartender was not attentive, but then seemed to adjust to the fact people were at the. At that close to closing. He warmed up in other words. He provided good service & made some recommendations. My husband ordered some raw oysters, my son ordered a cup of clam chowder, & I ordered calamari for us to start. They liked what they ordered & the calamari was cooked perfectly. It wasn't chewy or rubbery at all. And it was well-seasoned. I could do w/o the jalapeños in the tartar sauce, but it's easy enough to eat around them for the most part.I wasn't as hungry and ordered the seafood chopped salad, which is very good & full of fresh shrimp & crab meat. I took 2/3 of it home. The bartender informed me it's a pretty big salad & he didn't misrepresent it. I enjoyed it for lunch the next day & it was still good. My son ordered the swordfish with the blue cheese & liked it. My husband ordered the scallops. It's amazing how high food costs are in the U.S.! We were in Italy for a week & ate the freshest seafood for much less. 6 -8 scallops for $60 w/o sides is a bit much. They shared the green beans & liked them.We like coming to Oceanaire as the ambience is nice & relaxed & the food are service are usually good. The restaurant & restrooms were clean.

Service was good some times felt forgotten but when taken care of it was great. For appetizers ordered the calamari which was okay , not much flavor , crispy and fresh though . So i ordered sushi which was the shrimp tempura's roll which was delicious .10/10... for entree i ordered the lobster which was delicious so yummy nd fresh , nice size ; then for sides i would rate the lobster mac 6.8/10 , the noodles were very soft, flavor was okay nothing special but loved the lobster pieces in it . Truffle mash potatoes was 9/10 . And green beans had a Asian flavor that was delicious, texture maybe a little too hard for my preference but still great meal and great wine menu they have . Overall 8/10 experiences
