The Jerk Hut

First time trying The Jerk Hut and it was good as expected from my Caribbean people. The portions were good for the price and the flavor was great! It was a little difficult finding the spot because they are hidden on the side of another Hispanic food truck. Maybe a bigger sign facing the road would be helpful. There was a little wait but that's to be expected with getting food made fresh from the grill. I would visit it again...friendly people.

First time trying this place and it was good. I ordered the combo plate which was chicken and ribs. I didn't taste any jerk at all. The ribs were tender and the chicken was cooked well. The meat didn't have much spice or even a little kick to it to call it jerk. I would say this is a good bbq food truck. I wish they would sell sides. That would make me want to return.

This unassuming roadside gem is a Houston go-to! I arrived late in the evening, and they could only fill my order. Lucky me! The seasonings and spices on the chicken and pork are sensational! The meat is fall-of-the-bone tender! However, the best part of my visit was the kindness and Humble nature of the owners. They were very sanitary, polite, friendly, and accommodating. If you haven't given them a try, I strongly suggest you do! I drove from Humble,Tx, and the drive was so worth the experience!

We ordered the jerk chicken and the combo plate. It was delicious!! We will definitely be back for more.

Tried this place last Saturday and was definitely blown away. I got the 3 meat combo, it was seasoned perfectly and the meat was tender. I'll definitely be going back!

I haven't had any better jerk chicken than this place. I've had plenty so called jerk All around Houston & NONE come close to the good flavoring of this place, not even raggae hut(nasty & dried up). The hours & timing at this place may not be the best but the FLAVOR is definitely on point. Can you all Please add butter fried sweet Plantain.

I ordered the combo and it is delicious ,but the rib and the chicken were not ready to eat yet (not cooked all the way),sadly I only enjoyed half my meal:(

Saturday was my first visit and I had the jerk combo, plus 2 add'l plates. I was impressed with the amount of food for the price, the flavor was robust and the customer service was excellent. I enjoyed the meal so much, I returned the next day and purchased another jerk chicken sandwich and another combo plate. The Jerk Hut operators remembered me and expressed that they appreciated my business.I plan to visit again, I love great service, clean preparation and delicious food.

We tried eating at this establishment twice this week (Friday and tonight, on both days before 10pm). They advertise their business hours to be 6pm-2am, which is inaccurate. When we arrived, they said they were sold out both times. We drove an hour away, so this was extremely inconvenient. During our drive, we called 3 times trying to place an order yet they never answer the phone or return phone calls. Won't waste my time driving here again.

The service is amazing but the food lack jerk. It tasted like regular backyard bbq from Karen house. I expected so much more for The Jerk Hut. I wanted to fall in love with this place. The hype was better then the taste.
