The Iberian Pig

The Patatas Bravas were not as light and crispy as I preferred but the mushroom flatbread (coca con seta) and shrimp (gambas al ajillo) blew us away -11/10!!Service was efficient and we were starving when we arrived so happy the food came out quickly.

This was such a HUGE disappointment and one of the worst meals I've had in a long time and I love tapas! The first dish that came out was the croquettes. I all I could taste was the flour from the Béchamel. If flour can overpower ham, there's a serious problem in the kitchen. The next dish that came out was the empanadas de carne; they were absolutely delicious. I thought that this restaurant redeemed itself and I was excited for our next dishes. We received the king salmon next. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had the most beautiful, crispy skin. The veg set-up sounded great (succotash), but it tasted horrible! We couldn't even eat it. Disgusting! So by this point, I'd pretty much given up. The potatoes weren't crispy at all. Definitely nothing special. Again, for a Spanish tapas restaurant to not make perfect potatoes bravas, there's something fundamentally wrong going on in your kitchen. Everyone told me to order the grilled octopus. I absolutely love grilled octopus. Like the salmon. The octopus2-: cooked absolutely perfectly. The setup on the plate, tasted so bad! We took maybe 2 bites of it and stopped. Service wasn't much better. The hostess looked irked and ready to go (we did come in around 9), our server was in this seemingly autopilot "fake it until you make it mood." The only person that seemed genuinely pleasant and happy to be at work was the food runner who brought out our potatoes and octopus dish. I'd never go back here, even if I didn't have to pay. This was ta pretty disastrous dining experience .

Finally made it to Iberian Pig! Decatur has a few parking decks and street parking so parking wasn't too bad but can be congested.With our reservation, we still waited maybe 15 mins at the bar before being seated. We were seated upstairs and there was definitely a large party there as well so it was extremely loud and not as intimate as the setting on the first floor.We ordered several dishes to share: braised veal shank ravioli, pork cheek tacos, pork belly, empanadas de carne, patatas bravas, and bistec. Servers do you give you the preface that dishes will come out in no particular order as well! Our favorites were the pork cheek tacos and empanadas! We would come back just for these as they were delicious. The braised veal shank ravioli were so good as well even though they did not look the most appetizing. Pork belly was fair but not anything too spectacular. When we got our bistec, it was incredibly raw and I eat my steaks cooked medium rare. As the protein was served cut, it is pretty evident the chef plating this while knowing how undercooked it was. I brought this up to the server and they also noted how it was raw. They did get this "fixed" but they simply heated up the same plate as we received the same mangled meat back. Luckily they comped this as it was disappointing all around and our least favorite item. We received the patatas bravas last about 15-20 mins after our last dish before and this was the first potato dish I've really not liked. Service here was fairly slow and unattentive, but may have been because of the second floor and waiters needing to take the stairs.I don't really see myself wanting to come back unless others wanted to try it out, but if I do the empanadas and tacos are my must order.

Wow! Our experience here was amazing! Let's start with our server, Jade. She was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, attentive, a true professional. Now let's get into the food. From the charcuterie board to the pan con tomate, empanadas, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, mushroom ravioli, steak, and churros, everything was 5 stars. I highly recommend this place.

Had dinner here last week and loved it. One of my favorite places for tapas in Atlanta. All the dishes are so flavorful. We started with cocktails and wine. For our food, we got the patatas bravas, albondigas, peppadews and choripan. The sauce on the albondigas is incredible! Such a great spot for a date night or for a group!

Easter brunch! I came here with my family for Easter brunch and had a great brunch. We sat outside cause it was beautiful. They had some specials happening, so I e got the Huevos A La Flamenca, which was tasty, broccolini (obsessed with it), Peppadew peppers (yum!!) and the tortilla espanola (veggie dish for Easter, it was decent but the flavor wasn't as great as the other dishes). We also got a mimosa (it was very strong, lol). Overall, it was a great brunch. Service and as also great and attentive. Parking was in a nearby lot ($25 for 1.5h )

Every time i come to The Iberian Pig, it is always such great service. I love that they accept reservations. Make sure to make a reservation as they often are very busy and booked most nights and weekends! My favorite drinks are definitely their sangria and missions for agave They have so many tapas to choose from and have a gluten free menu which is so helpful when wanting date nights with my partner or have a friend with allergies my personal favorite tapas are the patas bravas, broccolini, albóndigas ( pork meatballs), lomo ( seared pork tenderloin so yum), and the Bacon wrapped dates ( B.W.D on the menu) Everything is delightful and the restaurant located in decatur is imo one of the best spots for a cute night out with its beautiful decor and great staff!

Tapas styles restaurant. The portions were filling and delicious. We ordered quite a bit of items but the highlights were the empanadas and the pulpo. This place is great for date night. Make sure to make a reservation because it does get very busy and wait times can reach up to 2 hrs on the weekend.

Great food. Lovely ambiance Love the Iberico ham, melts in your mouth. Staff was friendly and attended to the table with grace.

Nice spot in downtown decatur for wine and light eats. Service was good. Busy place to be after work
