The Honey Hole

Great location with ample parking. Theres stores close to visit in case you have to wait. There was a reservation made for 12 at 2pm on 5/18 approximately 1 mouth prior to the date. DJ was good. Nice restaurant layout. Upon arrival the reservation was not found. But the deposit invoice was found. A table was located but not setup with silverware and glasses. Then extra people can as part of the party but was told CHAIRS WOULD be hard to find. Yes, I said chairs. There was a 20 minute wait for 2 chairs. Then it took 1 hour for drink order to be taken and 1.5 hour for food orders. Then the receipt pricing did not match the menu pricing for the loaded mimosas crafes. Server was told but the wait to correct that was also a long wait. There was one hostess that dressed different than the remaining staff (you would think it was the manager but she is not) she is the first person you see so i expressed to her the concerns and issues. Not once did she say "let me go get the manager" or "let me go get someone that can help". Even after visiting her 2+ times for issues nothing was said and I was not directed in the appropriate direction. The food came out hot & with nice plating. Prior to leaving the server located the manager, the poor services was discussed. He was apologetic but no other alternatives offered. Overall an horrible experience and i will not be returning. Several guests flew in from other states and said "this did not make a good impression". i.e. Now I wonder if I would have been loud and causing a scene if the manager would have came out immediately attending to me and my guests assuring we had a decent night. Because that is not what happened throughout the dining experience. The only person checking on us was the serve who seemed as though she was busy with other tables.

Amazing little spot! I love the cute decor. A Photographer was in the building to capture your memory for $25 with the frame. Food: We had catfish/grits, Lobster/grits, Pork chop plate, chicken hash bowl. All was good EXCEPT the pork chops. They were a little dry so we couldn't finish them. Service: Our waitress was super nice. she made every effort to be attentive however, left us without eating utensils. We had to get up & find someone else to assist us so we can eat & so i can stir my coffee before it froze. :-/ I wouldn't mind coming back but warning - make rsvp or your wait could be long & seating is limited. So glad we RSV

I came here for a friend's birthday brunch and this restaurant did not disappoint. This is nestled in a shopping center by the Galleria and parking can be found in the shopping center parking lot.This is a cute place and during the time I went, there was a live dj playing good music. There's a bar and a semi private dinning room available for any private parties. The waiter was attentive and everything was delicious. We got a carafe of peach belinni and while it wasn't strong, it was extremely tasty. We split the carafe amongst 4 people. I opted for the chicken fried chicken and it was amazingly delicious. My friend got the lobster and grits which comes with shrimp as well. I tasted some of her grits and it was a 10 out of 10. Very flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their meals except for one lady who got salmon tacos and did not like the excess grease on the tacos. Our waiter did warn us that the tacos were not to be ordered.I can't wait to return here to get more food items!

I came in for Sunday brunch with some pals and the vibe was definitely there! The food was pretty good, bit pricey for the hash browns but the stuffed French toast was so good. I do think the place was too loud on Sunday, I felt like it was hard to have conversation. I would come back to try the other brunch items but maybe on a quieter day. Make sure you get a reservation because wait times can be very long.Parking is a plus here because it's open lot, enjoy!

I made a reservation for two via OpenTable and this turned out to be a really great decision. The Honey Hole was packed on Sunday, so making a reservation is highly recommended. Couple of things of note: 1. You do have a 2 hour time limit to eat and pay and your time starts when you are sat. 2. Parking is ample, so no need to find a parking garage. 3. While on the menu it states that an 18% gratuity is put on checks for parties of 4 or more, it seems that they will do the same for a party of two. 4. They charge an additional 3.95% credit card fee and automatically apply it to the bill. I think a better practice would be asking the patron how they will be paying instead of assuming it'll be by card. I order the pear, lychee and vodka drink and I really, really loved it. It was presented beautifully, but also was a light, springy flavor- perfect for a Sunday. I ordered the catfish and grits and I thought this was a fantastic dish. It came with an étouffée sauce on top which really set it off. Do I think this dish is worth $32? No. But I will say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was supposed to come with the jalapeno cheddar cornbread on the side, but it did not, so I had to ask for it. I think this is a cute restaurant, but I can't say that it is a place I would readily come back to for the food. I've had some amazing experiences in the city that was less expensive for the quality of the food received. I'm really glad I got to try this place, but I think once is enough.

I visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch and it was absolutely adorable. The decor and theme was perfect for the space. The Honey Hole is a great restaurant for a nice Sunday brunch for a date or even with friends. There were a few menu items I would have loved to try but they were only available on the weekdays. I chose the peach Bellini which was a frozen drink. This drink was so refreshing with just the right amount of alcohol. My main dish was the chicken fried chicken with potatoes. The potatoes were nicely seasoned. The chicken was fried more than I would prefer but it was still delicious. Overall, the service was good as well. The wait for our food wasn't long. I would love to visit this restaurant on a weekday to try a few of the menu items

Good music!! Love how they have hints of honeycomb designs throughout the restaurant. a hidden gem. Service was great, no long waits. Great suggestions for food. The chicken!! Will make you fall in love. So seasoned and crispy. The dip for the funnel fries are next up! Must get! And then the DJ on a Saturday!! Great energy, great music, the bartenders were dancing along. Great place, can't wait to go back

Wonderful food, wonderful experience! We loved our time here from start to finish. We will definitely be back here to visit!

Reservation for 1:30, and was promptly sat, was warmly welcomed by our waitress KEN. She was absolutely amazing! Service was fast, and efficient. I will definitely be back!!!!!

Went on a Monday early afternoon so we were seated very quickly and there was ample space. While the music is booming on Sat/Sunday brunch times, it was more low key. You can hear the music but also very much so your conversation. I had the avo toast, which was good! Used to having it on sourdough, but they prepare theirs on brioche bread, so a bit of a change but still good. Also had the sliders - which was OK; I could have used a bit more seasoning on the chicken. They were out of coffee, which was a bit odd given the time of day, and it was coffee. But thankfully that isn't something my stomach needed, and our waiter suggested the mimosa, which was good. I like that they have options of strawberry, pineapple or trad. (orange) options.Loved the decor, and there's also a private room which is in a glass enclosure, so pretty open to the public - but great for a birthday party or so. Look forward to still going for the Saturday brunch vibe. Till next time.
