Recently tried this Gypsy Poet location, and can confirm, it is the same quality and service as their other location.I came with my family with multiple dietary restrictions including vegan/vegetarians. The staff were so friendly and patient and accommodated our requests! They even allowed us to customize our own vegan pizza with veggie toppings. They also had vegan cheese!Pizzas came out quickly and were sooo delish! Perfectly crispy crusts. Recommend adding the complimentary hot honey and truffle oil that's by the napkin/silverware area. Overall, 10/10 pizza, friendly staff, quick service. Would recommend!

Food was good nothing out of this world. We had the standard Pepperoni madness, Formaggi, and Caprese salad. Two Mexican cokes. they weren't horrible but nothing to rave about. The total was $61 and some change. Total 72 with tip. Pricing is pretty average for the area/location.If you're thirsty, the only option is really water. For the drinks are sold either in can or bottle hence no refills.The place is pretty simple decor. They get pretty busy so seating is limited.

This is probably as authentic as pizza can get. Not that I have gone to Italy but I think this place is your best bet in Houston. We got the portobello mushroom salad to start and it was great. The rich goat cheese combined with the greens and lightly sweet vinaigrette was a great way to start the meal. I don't know what they did to the portobello mushroom but it was the best one I've ever had. For pizza we tried the fancy backpacker and the cappellone big hat. The crust on both pizzas was the star, I haven't had anything like it. As for the toppings, those in the backpacker were well balanced, nothing overpowering, it was simple but delicious. I think this pizza paired well with their hot honey. The cappellone "big hat" had more spices in it which I enjoyed, I found it more flavorful. I would say for both pizzas, you can tell that work was put into them. The flavors were simple but so delicious. I would definitely go back to try other pizzas. This is definitely worth a try!

Gypsy poet is a well-known and talked about pizza spot, so obviously when I was craving pizza, I knew I had to go here. We went around 8:30 PM on a Saturday, and were pleasantly surprised that there were not any lines. It's a simple, local pizza chain with plenty of seating on the inside. AND they were playing some pretty vibey music. With their simple, yet artsy menu, we opted for the Sicilian Journey and Pepperoni Madness. I love white sauce pizzas- the ricotta from the Sicilian Journey was creamy and delightful. The Pepperoni Madness was great as well- they are definitely using good quality ingredients! The hot honey was not prominent, however. The crust of the pizzas were very light and airy, so if you prefer thick, doughy pizza this might not be for you. Also, I would recommend 1 pizza for 2 people! Overall, it was pretty good, but I would not say it was the best pizza I have ever had.

Backpacker pizza people. This is THE PIZZA. Arugula and prosciutto. Chefs kissAlways a line but worth it!Pizza takes about 30 min to come out. Cool modern interior. Choice of high tops, and low tables. Service was good.

This some of the best pizza Ive had so far in Houston. It's one of my top 2 and it ain't number 2! Ive only been to this location and carried out. Ordering online is pretty simple, you get a text letting you know your food is ready. They offer hot honey; i tried it but its a no for me. Pretty nice selection of wines and nonalcoholic drinks. There's indoor and a small outdoor seating area. The pizza is made in an open style kitchen. Depending where you're sitting; you may or maybe be able to watch them prepare the food.

This is a poor little pizza spot with inside seating walk up counter ordering and a nice outdoor cupboard patio with fake grass in case you want to bring the doggies along.The pizza is standard with a very very thin crispy crust not lots of sauce so if you like sauce you should probably ask for extra the toppings are good it was pretty much a standard Pizza to me maybe because I only got the margarita not all of the toppings but it's a nice place to go grab some wine and pizza with a friend and sit outside on the patio. Check them out it's not super overpriced the staff is nice and the place is clean. Enjoy

The pizza was so amazing.It was the best pizza I ever had in my life. The flavors are out of this world.It's like the pizza comes from the heavens. I never thought a pizza would have me weep in joy. They're so amazing, I might consider trying out anchovy pizza for the first time in my life. The service here is so great! Everybody here is awesome! The environment, It's so amazing, They have such an awesome setup that you can see them making these majestic pizzas right in front of you,It's like having live entertainment. I'm sticking to these people forever, no more pink's pizza, Star pizza, Frank's Pizza, Papa john's and all the other freaks! The king of pizzas are here baby and it's this place right here you need to come to!!

Really great pizza. Simple and nailed. Crust is perfect. Can go creative with your pizza of choice or stick to old school cheese. Try the hot pepperoni pizza. The flavors and char are so good together
