Driven right by this place several years, I never knew it was here. Local country breakfast served until 11 am. Ambiance is like having breakfast at grandma's. Loving conversation, pet names, and warm service. Local customers are called by name.Unsweetened tea is great, which is an anomaly in the South. Breakfast made one plate at a time their motto. Served hot and quick. We'd eat here again. However, lacking a star for not keeping drinks refilled, and the hash browns could be cooked a little longer for crispy outside. They have whipped spread instead of butter on the tables. Also, baskets of jellies, creamers, etc. But most restaurants of this type do.No frills by any means. If you want lunch, wait until 11 am, then go next door to White Swan. Open 6 days a week.

It's the most darling little breakfast spot. We were greeted upon entry by practically everyone enjoying their breakfast. Small-town southern charm indeed! A local neighborhood place where the servers know all their patrons.Service was fast and very friendly. The biscuits are tender and buttery.Nothing fancy here. Just stick to your ribs good southern breakfast- grits, pancakes, pork (anyway you can serve it), eggs, pancakes, all served hot and with a smile. The unsweetened iced tea just kept coming and kept my husband's coffee cup full and hot.

Not sure how to describe this place; waited 45 minutes to get breakfast that was mid. Saw people leaving because it was taking so long; I think it is because they prioritize take out orders over the seated orders. I'm not sure what they're doing in the kitchen but I don't know how it took them so long to make eggs and toast. It was $50 dollars with tip for four people to eat here. I wouldn't recommend because I don't think it's worth the money. The ambiance is what you would expect for a small town dinner old people and old sticky tables. I can't imagine that this place is owned by the same poker who own white swan because that place is the best! Won't come back to the Frying Pan
