The Famous Crab

Um. No. Just-no. The tartar sauce was clearly expired. The coleslaw was too sweet; way too much sugar added into it. The people in my party who ordered shrimp (including grilled and fried) got sick, and when I say sick, I mean violently ill. The chicken strips were good-ish, and so were the french fries, but everything else tasted old, expired or freezer burnt. The cheesecake was weird (it had a congealed, defrosted- jello consistency....I can't really describe it lol) and it tasted like something you would find in the back of the freezer. The beignets were good but they were definitely over cooked. It was also very warm in there- kinda felt like they had the AC off even though it was 64° outside and very humid. The employees, especially the manager, could have been a little nicer, in my opinion. Not to be picky, but everything in there was sticky. (hah that rhymed) Not joking. The booth seat was sticky. The chairs were weirdly sticky, the table, the condiment bottles, my beverage cup, and even the packaged disposable plastic ware was sticky. Why? idk.

The food was sooo good!! Love this type of seafood. However the hostess was rude at the front and the bathrooms were disgusting. They needed a much needed deep cleaning. We will return for the food!

The house sauce was good! We tried a lot of their food so here is the rating on each one:Gumbo = 4 Turkey necks = 3 (too salty)King crab = 5 (biggest one I've had) Scallops = 5 Shrimp skewer = 3 (only 4 shrimp a little overcooked)Crawfish tails = tasty sauce and great sauceThey played good music and it wasn't too loud. The service good too! I'll be coming back ^_^

My son has been begging for crabs so after reading some reviews I decided to dine here. My family of 5 arrived at 7pm on a Friday night and were seated immediately. There is music playing but not overly loud. Our waiter was very attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu. We started off with ordering the grilled oysters and calamari for appetizers. The oysters were delicious!! I didn't try the fried calamari but everyone said it was good. For entrees we got the shrimp po boy, whole catfish, Texan platter, and famous feast. The catfish had a strange taste, it definitely wasn't as good as the catfish I've had at other establishments. The shrimp po boy did not disappoint. The famous feast consisted of boiled shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn, potato, and snow crab. The sauce was a bit too salty for my liking but overall everything was pretty good.

Love this place food is always on point it's always nice and hot highly recommended the snow crab and mussels, crab fingers are a must service is a hit or miss

Long wait for table and place was dead. Drinks took over 20 minutes and weak. Oysters were good and tasted fresh. Fried oysters were good as well. The crab claws were awful and the fried fish platter was awful. Food is on styrofoam plates with sauces in plastic cups. For the expensive price long john silvers is better.

I did take out, it was ready quickly and was so delicious.Order came with everything I needed in clouding extra sauce and lots of wipes and napkins.

I visited this establishment for the first time a few days ago, food was okay, service was okay the inside is kinda depressing but oh well. I ordered a pound of crawfish , king crab and snow crab and my bill was a splash over $100 which was expected. Fast forward to today, I got off work early and was wanting crab legs again going to dinner alone is always an odd thing but wanted a quick bite to eat, when I walked in the manager and the hostess was by the stand and I asked for a table for one and requested a booth, the manager walked me over and showed me two options where I can sit at , a small 2x2 table tucked in the corner of the bar or a small high top. I requested a booth again and the manager was like yeah no you can't sit there. You can sit at one of those two tables. So I walked out. Now if they were completely packed I would understand, however it's 8pm on a Saturday evening and the restaurant is half full with at least 14 open small booths, I would have been in and out within 30 min and spent $100. Your loss, plenty of crawfish and crab locations around here. Definitely not coming back

I really wanted crab fingers and my friend did not feel like driving to Pappas so she recommended this spot. Everything is fried or some type of boil. Crab fingers were Over fried. Fried flounder (bone in) over fried. Super dry. I imagine it was like chewing cardboard or chalk. In all fairness maybe the boiled seafood is their thing g but fried food definitely is not.

Great sauce and good quality service. Great place and family friendly. Margarita was amazing
