Parking: plenty of parking since it was located in a strip mall with a Harris teeterFood: Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries was a good go to classic. Chicken was cooked well. I came for the Thursday open mic. Poor attendance. One band monopolized the stage. Definitely has gone down hill

Good is very good. Ordered the corner burger, juicy and flavorful. Also ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, very tasty and strong.

UPDATE: I had the urge for delivery but nothing heavy, so I decided to give The Corner another try after the not-so-good experience there many years ago. Their grilled cheese sandwich entry on their menu struck me as what I was looking for and I went with it, choosing the house made chips as the side. I know what you are thinking, it would probably come by delivery a bit soggy...so I was surprised when it was still warm and not soggy when it arrived. It was wrapped well which helped with that but the cheese did stick to almost everywhere on the wrapping quite a bit also. Anyway, still warm and not so soggy, it tasted pretty good. The house made chips were good but the accompanying ranch dressing for dipping was very very thin and a bit disappointing. However, having a grilled cheese that remained pretty decent even through delivery has moved them up a star in my book. I may need to try something there at the tavern/grill itself sometime in the future to see if I can have a more positive visit than the one there years ago.

Came here on a Sunday early afternoon for lunch.One of us ordered the fried fish with a side salad, which she had to pay extra for. The regular sides are fries, potato chips and pasta salad. The fish did not look good to me and I was glad I did not order it. It was very "crunchy" and it seemed hard to cut into. She ordered a side of fries, and they came out WAY over done. The side salad looked ok.I got the burger with fries. The fries were very good,but the burger was just ok. I would not get again...was overpriced and just blah. It came with pineapple on it which I can not eat and cheese which I took off, but even with those two things added, it just did not compare to other burgers that are better for less money.The service was good, only one young lady for the whole place, but she did a great job.It was fairly quiet for the first 2 hours we were there, but it got louder and louder and it was almost impossible to have a conversation by the time we left. The place was clean as far as I could see but there was not much of a decor to speak of. Plenty of parking as it is in a strip mall.

Very good burgers and exceptional fries. They have inexplicably discontinued what once were also outstanding onion rings. The service is generally friendly although sometimes distracted. It's basically a good, small neighborhood dive. Live music livens the place up, but the space is so small that the bands that play there often loud enough to prevent conversation.

Nice place. Wanted to go somewhere decent and cheap with outdoor seating as the weather was finally turning well. Unfortunately it rained just before we came but the staff was very nice as she cleaned the table and chairs for us. I had philly cheese with chicken and my husband had veggie burger with fries. Everything was nice but the fries were just awesome. I would go back just for the fries for sure

Came on a work trip and a coworker took me to this spot. We sat at the bar and Molly who was our server was great! She gave us amazing service, gave us suggestions and made the dinner an even better experience!Food:Appetizers were Hummus and the Corn Dogs. I thoroughly enjoyed the corn dogs and my friend loved the hummus.For dinner I got the Gyro Sandwich and my friend got the Kabobs. We both enjoyed our entrees and had a great time watching the hockey game Molly so nicely put on for us.

Covid really did a number in small independent restaurants but I would say that the tavern has come through pretty well. Their menu has changed a bit but if anything, it's gotten more refined (in a pub-sort-of-way).Live jazz usually 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month too.

Food and congeniality of hostess was perfect! Real burger size and taste! Did pick up order on my way home
