The food and drinks were amazing! Our bartender was so attentive and friendly. Make sure you get the fried okra!

This was my third time here; every time has been great. The staff is friendly. The drinks are great and the food is even better. When I was there they had this amazing empanada special. The special was three empanadas (beef, chicken, and cheese) for $4. They were absolutely delicious.

I've been visiting The Corner Pub about once every week to order the same thing: A Muenster Cheese Slider and the Spinach Dip Plate. The first two times I've ordered, my food has been flawless and delicious. However, on this day, I was served dirty and unclean food and a lump of cheese. The spinach dip plate is served with celery, carrot sticks, cucumber, and small pieces of toast. Usually the spinach is very prominent in the dip and it is a nice spinach to cheese ratio. However this time, there was a little to no spinach in the dish. Also, the vegetables are not served as garnishes, it is actually a part of the plate. So the fact that my salary and carrots were dirty is quite unpleasing. Because I am to eat this not just look at it on the side of the dish.It really sucks the right this review because I have enjoyed this exact order so many times in the past month. And the staff, usually the bartender, that takes my order is always so kind and provides great service. But I hope to not have this happen again.

Nice pub good food. Hate the online qr code only menu. Cant order from it just long way around to scroll thru a menu. I can do it , but then again i can cook my own food, but i go out to make it easier. So why make me scroll thru a menu and drop down tabs to order. Emma was very nice.

Was in tonight and some chick that was halfway dressed (sports bra and leggings and flip flops)was walking around in the bar area eating out of the mixing bowl with a spoon, hanging on some guy in the kitchen. How much more gross could you get!!!! Who is she?? Disgusting!! Regular bartenders are great!!

I enjoyed this pub! Came in with a larger group and we were well tended to. A great selection of drafts and alcohol- I was thrilled they had Athena. The food was really good too. I would've liked to see some seasoning on the fries, but that's nitpicky. The little mushroom slider was delicious. It was surprisingly empty for a Friday evening but that worked well in our favor. Our server was on her own and did a fantastic job. I'd definitely come back if in the area!

A decent local place. Unfortunately on our last visit the kitchen did not read the servers notes and made my order in way that I could not eat. By the time the bartender/ server noticed & offered to have it remade I was ready to leave. My bigger issue is the apparent lack of hand washing by bartender/server after coming inside after a smoke break. I've observed this on 2 different occasions. It's a pity, because she remembers her drink orders, and is personable. A little bit of training by management would go a long way.The menu choices are decent. Wish kitchen staff would keep grumbling about work to quiet talk and not in a manner that customers can hear. We like Corner Pub, but one more visit like this and that would be my last.

Our first time here. We came and celebrated our12 year anniversary . Food and staff was amazing! Best darn lemon drop I have ever had at a pub. Ya'll are amazing! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Service was good and we ordered quickly from a menu scannable QR code - it wasn't busy for Monday 1pm lunch.Food came, fried okra appetizer was ok, friend got a shrimp quesadilla - which she finished. I ordered 2 shrimp tacos $5/each (small portion, super basic) which tasted good, came with a choice of side and I choose fresh broccoli instead of fries or mashed potatoes. I also ordered a coke, which server did refill without asking.Unfortunately, the broccoli was an olive green-brown, looked dry and tasted dry and RANCID. I stopped eating it and wasn't going to say anything, but my friend tasted it and said it was rotten/not fresh. We both let the server know, who was like "Oh? Let me check", then proceeded to take the dish back and back with our bills.NO apology or discounting the item or removing it. The moment I stepped inside, I could tell the establishment didn't seem like a good choice. Upon entering, server mentioned they were low on a lot of ingredients and needed to go to the store. Yeah, to hopefully get fresh ingredients! Probably should have heard that "warning" and left then, but oh well...NOT RECOMMENDED.

This is such a fun and tasty place. It's exactly what it needs to be at and very reasonably priced.Good place for local beers, nicely done sandwiches, burgers, and pub snacks. They also have a nice selection of local beers that are very reasonably priced! My wife and I sat on their patio on a sunny Saturday afternoon and life was pretty good. Also very walkable to the local breweries in Avondale if you're looking for a bite between breweries.
