First time here. I ordered the family pack of 10 catfish, 12 "jumbo" shrimps, 8 hush puppies with two sides. Cute decor and clean place. The person was nice who took my order but was very distracted with other patrons just chatting. So my order was short 1 catfish which who has the time to go back and request that one missing fish, yeah it sucks bc a la cart it's $5 a fish so yeah technically lost $5. The food was okay nothing wow, the red beans and rice was good and the hush puppies.

I think it's time for me to give up on the catch. This is the second time in 3 months they have messed up my order. I ordered the shrimp boil which the shrimp was boiled too long the shells barely came off they were hard and dry and you couldn't taste the seasoning. I also ordered a catfish basket which had one piece of fish the size of my hand which was barely fried. It was chewy and not fried hard like I requested. The hush puppies tasted old and fried in old grease. I took it back and got my money back. The only thing that was decent was the fried shrimp and red beans and rice. I'm done Catch.

I went in today, I'm not sure what the name of my meal was called but it included fried fish, shrimp etouffee and fried fish. The meal was about $15.99 and I was truly disappointed. All of the seafood lacked flavor, I was given about two spoons of rice for my etouffee ; which was hard and over cooked and a very small piece of fish. I was starving and couldn't finish this meal smh.

Stopped in for a bite to eat. The restaurant needed some house keeping. There was food on the floors. Mop and broom sitting out by the tables for the customers to see. The restaurcould have used a good scrub down as well. 2/5The customer service was excellent! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. 5/5I had popcorn shrimp with tater tots and hush puppies. The hush puppies tasted stale. The tater tots were good but the shrimp was gross. 2/5The chicken pasta with garlic bread was excellent! 5/5My nephew said his burger and fries were really good. 4.5/5Banana pudding 1.5/5Overall, this place reminded me of an upscale Long John Silver or Captain D's (telling my age).

The Catch is a small business in Meyer Park with limited seating, so I enjoy their food to go. They have GREAT seafood! My favorite is the fried catfish plate that comes with fried shrimp, hush puppies, and fries. A great additional side is their fried okra.

WORST. WORST. and WORST!! Never never again!!! I bought seafood Gumbo and when I made it home realized it was Red Beans and Rice, when I called she told me she would give a refund but as I continued eating there were small shrimp in the red beans and had another realization this is THE GUMBO!!!! Lies!!! I threw it away!!! My first and this is the last!!!
