This place felt like a 1990's small town dinner The food was good, the service was great, and the prices were amazing!

There are a handful of these cafes around and the one thing that I love most is the step back in time. It's like going to the cafe when I was a kid. Smell. Floor tiles. Table and chairs. Counter seating. It all makes me happy. The location in commerce city is near our office. Sometimes you just need a breakfast sandwich at 7am or a burger and fries for lunch. Nothing glamorous or over priced. Everyone there is super nice and I've seen most of them off and on for 6 years. Service is always just right. I can call and order and by the time I walk a block to pick it up it's ready to go. Yumminess! If you're looking for a greasy spoon place that makes you feel scrumptious, happy, and excited in your tummy; this is the place. This place crossed my mind after a good workout and was feeling a yummy breakfast. This location is surrounded by industries and small. Parking is also small. I came in good timing and it wasn't crowded. I took a seat anywhere. My waitress was great and attentive. I got grapefruit juice and the #1 order which consisted of 1 French toast, 2 slices of bacon, 1 scrambled egg, and 2 sausage patties. Oh, boy, my breakfast was savory!!! Everything on my plate deserved a clean licking. Lol Yes, I slowly savored every bite, drink, and feeling as it sat in my mouth, touched my tongue, went down my esophagus, and into my tummy. My tummy was in ecstasy twirling with stars. If you want yummy and cheap, this is the place. I'm so glad I remembered this place! Come check out this place. Don't judge a book by it's cover. This scrumptious little place might catch you by surprise. Definitely coming back again.

Pretty Awesome place for lunch! I completely forgot to take pics of the meal but was on point. Two thumbs up the the cook. Everyone was super nice and seem knew the menu. If you in Commerce City don't be afraid to try some of the whole in the walls. You might the best food you're ever tried!

Solid little diner in the middle of the industrial section of Denver. Good service and good dinner food. Nothing to write home about, and they could show a little attention to cleaning a few things, especially the men's room. But if you overlook that stuff and take it for what it is, it's not bad. Doubt I will return, but if you find yourself needing some food, this will work!

Food is awesome, classic diner fare. Coffee was perfect. Went in the summer and loved sitting outside. Service was uncannily fast and super nice!

I was looking for a breakfast spot in Commerce City, since I'm here for the weekend, and don't know where anything is, and don't really like driving that much. Yelp notified me of The Butcher Block. It is a small diner, mom and pop style. Saturday morning, it's not super busy, but enough people to not worry me haha. I ordered a few things, and I swear to you, it was all out within 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll was definitely microwaved, however it was still delicious. Slathered in butter, how could it not be?I also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy, the biscuits aren't super thick, and the gravy is a little spicy (keep in mind I don't do any sort of spice well. Yes. I am a pansy), but this was a perfect side. I love B&G and you can tell a lot by a place and this particular dish. I also ordered 2 slices of French toast, and it was not my favorite. A little soggy. But it didn't keep me from eating. Also, they bring the syrup to you warm, which is an A+ move for me. If I lived here, this is definitely somewhere i would frequent. The employees are incredibly friendly, especially my server, his name was Todd. You definitely want to be in his section, never had a more kind person as my server. All the servers were really nice to each other too, which is so important to me.

Great little cafe. Great handheld breakfast burritos. Substantial meat portions, which is what I NEED!

Just on the edge of RiNo, an amazing traditional family run diner open 5am -7:30pm. Cinnamon buns to die for, best dinner coffee in town.Micky and the team offer super friendly service, with a great American diner vibe. They offer bounce bag storage too.

I love going here I recommend the roundhouse and the French toast. Staff is always friendly
