The dining room is large and very clean. Prices were good.My family and I ordered several different means and sides. These brisket had a good smoke ring and nice lite flavor. Personally I like the sausage the best. My daughter thought the ribs had a really nice flavor and were tender. She also thought the fried okra was some of the best she had eaten. The collard greens were well flavored and not overly salty. Good texture.Definitely would eat here again.

The brisket and pulled pork were both really good. There were a few big chunks of fat that we had to take out of our pulled pork, but the rest was very good. The mac & cheese was good along with the French fries. I really liked the mustard potato salad. The TBH platter was a good value for all the food you received. We will plan to visit again.

MOUTH-WATERING LIP-SMACKING FINGER-LICKING!!! Hey guys! This establishment reeks of good 'ol Homemade Down-South, Mouth-Watering, Lip-Smacking, Finger-Licking, Savorable, Delectable, and Delicious BBQ!!! If anyone ever tells you that Texas doesn't KNOW BBQ, just take them for a visit to The Brisket House, and I guarantee you they will have an instant change of heart! I came here with my oldest and youngest sisters on an early Saturday afternoon for a lunch date. I've had this place bookmarked for such a long time and had read all of the great reviews about how delicious the bbq tastes. Since we were in the area getting pedicures, we all agreed that we had a taste for some good bbq, especially since it had been a while since we had any. Our only wish is that we would not be disappointed with our experience. Upon arrival, the place was pretty quiet when we arrived, and for a minute we thought that there wasn't anyone working there because we did not see any workers around. My older sister became skeptical and unsure about dining there as we were slowly approaching the ordering counter. Finally, a worker by the name of Jason came into view and we asked him if they were serving any bbq today and if they had anyone to greet the customers when they enter. He responded that they don't have anyone to greet the customers and I responded back to him saying, "Well, what about you? You could greet the customers so that people will know that you all are open for business and ready to serve." He responded, "Well, yeah I guess you're right." He laughed, I laughed, and my sisters laughed about it, and after the ice was broken, all was well. After placing our orders, he gave us a number to take to our table so that he could bring our food to us whenever it was ready. We all ordered two meats plates; mine consisted of marble cut brisket and white meat chicken accompanied by collard greens and coleslaw, my older sister's consisted of lean cut brisket and dark meat chicken with coleslaw and French fries, and my younger sister's plate consisted of pork ribs and dark meat chicken with Mac and cheese and fried okra. We also ordered fried catfish to sample. To say that the food was just good is an understatement. We all agreed that the bbq was some of the best bbq that we've had in a very long time! This place SHUTS DOWN Spring Creek, Pappa's, and Goode Company BBQ on any given day! The BBQ is absolutely mouth-watering and delicious! The collard greens hands down was bussing!!! I could taste the flavors of my ancestral background in each bite! The coleslaw was surprisingly delicious because not too many restaurants can prepare coleslaw properly without drowning it in mayo. This coleslaw was the perfect ratio of mayo to slaw, which made it enjoyable to eat. My older sister said that the French fries were really good because they were fresh and hot. However, she said that they could have put more fries on her plate and that it looked like she only had five fries, lol. Moreover, the brisket and chicken were both tender, moist, and flavorful. It seemed like the brisket just melted in my mouth and oozed with savory goodness because it was so darn tender. My older sister and I were in BRISK-HEAVEN as we were going in on our delicious slices of brisket while our younger sister watched with jealous regret in her eyes because she wished she would have ordered the brisket as well. Instead, she had the two-meat plate with pork ribs, chicken, Mac and cheese, and fried okra. She did not enjoy the ribs because she said they had too much fat on them and that they were tough. She ended up taking them home and putting them in the oven, cooking them until they were tender. She said they were a little more enjoyable after she cooked them at home but the excess fat was still in the way of her fully enjoying the ribs, but they were flavorful. However, she said that the Mac and cheese and fried okra were very delicious; the okra tasted fresh and not frozen. It lacked the mucilaginous slimy texture, and instead it was crunchy and soft, possessing a bright green color underneath the batter. YUMMY! Overall, I have found my go-to whenever I'm in the mood for some Delicious, Marinated, Flavorsome, Delectable, Down-South Good 'Ol Texas BBQ! I rated this establishment five stars based on the delicious flavors, the quality, and the quantity of the food, the cleanliness/presentation of the restaurant, and the friendliness and professionalism of the wait staff. Jason took our orders and also served us our food when it was ready. He was extremely knowledgeable of the menu items, he offered suggestions, and explained how the menu works, since it was our first time visiting and he recognized that we were confused. This was one of the best restaurant dine-in experiences that I have had the pleasure to thoroughly enjoy in a long time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR ANYONE WHO APPRECIATES GREAT BBQ BECAUSE TEXAS KNOWS BBQ BABY!!

Absolutely amazing barbecue! And the barbecued wings are to die for.Everyone who lives near this restaurant, should frequent it often, and make sure that it stays here a long time. The interior doesn't look like much, but we get takeout. If I were to give them a recommendation, I would say to turn up the music put some music on the stage create dance floor and have three dollar beers on Friday night. Fill up the joint get people inside make it feel exciting instead of empty. The space is really big and it's pretty empty. You may need to close off parts of the restaurant to make it feel cozier and add decor. Not sure if they have brisket mac & cheese or not but they should also, when people come into the restaurant, greet them with a smile and say hey glad you're here, thanks for coming in today. The person that was at the register last night was order taker... had no personality. They could say things like "have you tried our fried pickles" or "would you like a side of mac & cheese with your sandwich?"...upsell, upsell, upsell! This place could be lit with a few simple changes and good customer service. I give the service a 3 and the brisket aa 9, so I'll just mark it as five stars. Please try it you'll like it.

Lunch is served! I was impressed with the customer service, they are on point. You take a seat and they bring you your plate. They do come back periodically to check on you and offer you jalapeños and stuff. The flavor is great! Just like my grandpa's bar-b-q, quality smoked and seasoned. It's worth the price. Unlimited fountain refills. Great big windows and TVs to watch sport games. They are across from North Oaks Forest.

I used to always pass this place finally decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! It is very good BBQ. It's great if you want to grab a quick bite for lunch/dinner. The food overall is good. The ribs fall off the bone, the brisket is not dry, sausage nicely smoked. The sauce I could drink it honestly. I love that it is not a super sweet bbq sauce it's got that vinegar taste and it really compliments the meat. The sides are a pick and choose thing the potato salad not so great but the other side was was good. The prices are just wonderful most places will charge you and arm and a leg for bbq but this place is absolutely worth it. I definitely will be back to try other things they have. 1-10 I give it a solid 8.

Brisket: delicious 5 starsTurkey: delicious 5 starsChicken: undercooked and I wish they gave me sliced boneless chicken instead of boned. 2 starsService: friendly. Greeting was average. 4 starsAmbiance: clean and well maintained. 5 starsOverall:- If I exclude the chicken, this place is 5 stars. The brisket and turkey are far better than the Brisket House closer to downtown.- If I include the chicken, this place is a 4 stars.Aside for the chicken, I like this Brisket House better than the one closer to downtown.

It's a sleeper hit! The place was super clean. Considering the tasty food I was shocked the place was nearly empty (but it was 2 PM already). The creamed corn is like casserole type, and savory. It was very tasty! The Mac and cheese is very cheesy. Almost soupy, but tastes good! The mashed sweet potatoes are delicious! But of course I would've loved more marshmallows. The ribs were good and had good burnt pieces to it too. The pickles and onions were just right. Each plate comes with a piece of bread. The TBH platter comes with a piece of cornbread, 3 meats, and 3 sides. I prefer sweet cornbread and this was sweet, but not overly sweet! It was really good. And one part had a nice crusty bit to it. I don't usually like cornbread but I like this one! Not dry. Just moist enough. Had good bite to it, and a nice little crust. The chicken plate is very good. It's grilled and juicy. The ribs are good, just meaty enough. The sausage has good flavor. The bbq sauce is a little sweet, a little tangy, and just enough. The potato salad was good as well. I think it has a little bit of mustard. The brisket had a nice crust on top. Nice slim edge of fat to the meat, not too fatty. Just right. Finally, we did get a piece of Tres Leches and it was sufficiently moist! Tasted decent! Not like a Kroger tres leches (never had a good one from there). The brisket plate was good - 2 meat choices I think, but no sides. Comes with half an onion! The rib plate comes with 2 sides. They have collard greens, pinto beans, mashed sweet potatoes, creamed corn, Mac and cheese, fried okra, and at least 3 other sides. No wheat bread! Just white bread.
