The Backyard

Had a recommendation from a coworker to try this place for Sunday Brunch. Other customers ordered Mimosa Flight, which looked good. Unfortunately, the food was VERY sub-par. Ordered biscuit and gravy ($10 for one biscuit sliced in half) and the gravy was SO SALTY that we couldn't even finish it. The same gravy was on my wife's breakfast bowl. The Cracker Barrel or Pelican Cafe in Seabrook are far better for gravy.Ambiance is hole-in-the-wall little cafe. The service was forgettable (Karra was emotionless and did not check on drink refills after we got our food). Majority of the food came, but my daughter's Waffle with Berries took 10 minutes more I can not recommend.

I hate to be 'that guy,' but ... meh. The quality here is phenomenal, and the menu is fun. I avoided this joint because of the whole trite mac & cheese thing. But I finally caved and ordered the Chicken Parmesan Mac to-go.First, the serving size and (once again) quality of ingredients is worthy. The menu description didn't exactly describe what I received, as there was nary a bite of fried mozzarella in the dish. There was plenty of fried -- and very dry -- chicken; the mac was cheesier than an episode of 'Three's Company.' Sauce was decent, except that there was little more than a tablespoon, which is hardly enough to define the dish. Hedging one's bets on a classic American dish that (mostly) is based on a blue box is risky, but these folks know their mac & cheese. It's good stuff, but I was mostly unimpressed. $14. Really? Good luck, guys.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem. My friends and I went and were blown away by it. The food was enough to feed an army. The Mac and cheese pans are big enough for at least two people. The Stoner fries are fantastic! Ask for extra sauce. Oh, and Christian helped with food and drink suggestions plus he is just fun! It's a local business with a relaxed feel. Will definitely return. Stop by if you're in the Seabrook area. Actually, plan a trip there!

The servers are always super friendly. The food is AMAZING. Never disappoints. The Mac and cheese is the right choice no matter what version you choose. This last visit I got the elote, the time before the jalapeño popper Mac.

If you haven't had brunch at The Backyard Seabrook, you're missing out!! Food & drinks are amazing and most importantly, the playlist is !

Where do I start?! The music was straight up awesome! 90s R&B...let's go! We sat outside in the backyard, I mean, we had to! There were yard games, a fire pit and plenty of sun or shade. We shared a flight of Bloody Mary's and each got a flight of mimosas. Amazing! The food was delicious too! Highly recommend this place for brunch on Sunday Funday!

Ambiance was okay not a lot of people, service was alright the server was friendly, food wasn't as great as I expected I had the popper Mac with chicken and my hubby had the chicken sandwich (that spicy chicken sandwich wasn't that bad) it had good flavor fries could be better, great portion though.

The food was amazing and delicious. It came out in a timely manner! The. Service was great. You can sit anywhere, inside , outside at the bar! The music was amazing! I will be going back!!!

All right, here we go buckaroos.The backyard is a wonderful place for carbs,fa and more carbs. Not for me that is not the greatest food to help with my summer bikini line. But, the food is so good it warms the cockles of my heart.(I have no idea what a is or why it is associated with your heart.) I digress!They do the most amazing things with mac and cheese. I really enjoyed the Mac& cheese with bacon and a bottle of liquid carbs. It is the perfect place to eat comforting food for the working class. Yahoo.It is definitely not fine dining. But, it is wonderfully good food. Going to the backyard fulfills all of those cravings for good food, and good proportionsI always leave with a very contented belly and a smile on my face. If you are running a marathon and need to carb load, this is the place. If not then just enjoy the food and undo the top button on your jeans, you will take me for that later.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Little did we know the main star of their menu "Mac n' Cheese" is only served later in the day (I believe it's after 2 pm) so time your visit wisely. I had the brisket omelette. It didn't have a lot of flavor nor did my grits-I doused them in Cholula sauce and got through it. It was a hearty serving however as was everyone's plate in our party. There was one person in our party of 8 who's food took a while but that was an anomaly because we saw the kitchen move pretty fast. Our server Chris was quite the character and there was a team approach so everyone who came to the table did so with a smile. Three stars only because there was one bathroom for all patrons and the food flavor.
