Great little place for authentic Vietnamese food. Don't be surprised if you are the only non-Vietnamese in the place. Tonight I was, but I hung with the brothers to enjoy some of my favorite food.Goi Sua Tom Thit - This is the popular shrimp and jellyfish salad that is lightly tossed with nuoc man. That sweet and savory mixture that is made using fish sauce. I thought this dish was outstanding. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the ingredients were perfectly balanced.Bo Luc Lac - Also know as Shaking Beef, this dish is a stir fry of marinated cubes of beef steak. The meat was tender and flavorful. Some Vietnamese people will mix a concoction of lime juice, salt, and pepper to dip the steak in. Don't knock it until you've tried it.Tom Rang Moi - Salt fried shrimp still in their shell is a crunchy delight. The shrimp were large and fried to perfection. I don't eat the tail or the head, but many people will wear it all out. Just be sure to chew well.Rau Muong Xiao Toi - I am told that this green leafy vegetable is very common in Southeast Asia. But it is an invasive species in the US. There are US agriculture regulations to control the growth and spread of it's production. Ultimately this has affected the price of this simple dish. I don't know if this is true or not but it's a conversation starter.I had to withhold the fifth star on my review because the restaurant didn't feel that clean to me. Unfortunately that is pretty typical of the Asian restaurants around here.

Food is great however customer service is terrible. We tried to Togo order on the phone in Vietnamese and English with no success - the man was so rude and kept saying he did not understand.Unfortunately, we may have to find a new place.

I am DISGUSTED. My family and I ordered the com gia dinh for 3, and at first, it wasn't too bad, because it was one of our favorite places to eat. But when we were almost done with the ca kho, THERE WAS A TO GO LID ON THE BOTTOM. That is DISGUSTING. We told the server and the workers there and all they can say is "sorry". WHAT???? I will never going here again because I am SO disappointed with my visit here. Like how dirty and unsanitized can this restaurant get when a WHOLE LID was in OUR FOOD AND WE DIDN'T REALIZE UNTIL THE FOOD WAS GONE????

Service is good. Lots of good looking food on menu including duck blood. I ordered banh khot which came after my bowl of soup. Food was good. Fast & hot. Fresh veggies.

I've been to the place a few times, and I think this is the place in Houston whenever you have a craving for Steam Duck or Duck Salad! The service is pretty good for an Asian place as well. The best bang for your bucks would be the family dinner, which you would get at least 4 different dishes (or more) depending on the number of people in your party.How I'd rate the following dishes that I have tried:- Steamed Duck/Duck Salad: can NEVER go wrong - even my mom CRAVES for it! I always have to to-go an order for her whenever I stop by there without my parents.- Fish Clay Pot & Sweet & Sour Fish Hot Pot (Ca Kho To & Lau Chua Ca Bong Lau): Very tasty and pretty decent! The Fish clay pot has fried pork fat - which a lot of places do not add, so we love it. The soup is very refreshing, though I'd love it to be more sour - but just my own taste.- Salted Fried Squid: Pretty good, crunchy and flavorful! I'd order this again!- Jellyfish Salad: This is a hit or miss for me. Most of the time, the salad was refreshing. This morning, the veggies tasted off (OLD) to me.- Duck and Fermented Bean Curd Hot Pot (Vit Nau Chao): NOT the best version I'd have had - my mom's is much better. Their broth was too liquidy and only has the flavor of coconut. I thought it would be great since they specialize in duck, but I would not order this again.

Come here for only one specific dish, Bun Mang Vit. Broth is flavorful, but not too heavily season. Portion is plentiful, more than enough for me. I also like the Porridge here as well, it's pretty tasty to me. Best of all is that these come with a portion of mix salad, which makes the meal feel refreshing and well balanced. Thing that I love about Vietnamese food is that majority of dishes come with a lot of veggies. Will definitely come back here when the craving call.

Service was nice and food was so so good! We had a great late lunch on a Saturday afternoon

Came here to eat with my dad and his 3 other friends and my boyfriend. The food was alright but service was VERY slow and disorganized. We had difficulty getting ahold of people to order food and they'd forget alot of things because they don't write down our order, just put it to memory and try to remember. They never brought our waters over even after we had asked for it 3 times with 3 different people. I had to go to the counter to get water and even then we wanted to get other things and it never came out so we had to settle with how the food was made without condiments. Food was alright as well, it wasn't special or really grand so I probably won't come back as I wasn't overwhelmed with the quality of the food. Good for family to come eat though or just small groups as well. Just don't expect to get the best of service.

Didn't want to go up here, but has no choice.. Big warning for folks..Please don't eat the oyster they made..my husband got really sick the day after eating those oysters they made.. Another thing was the price were like triple from just couple months ago.. OMG, how could they jack up the price so much? Who would want to come back for them? NO wonder there were just us there to eat.... I just don't get these restaurants' folks..using this pandemic time to raise up their prices to the wall... Who would want to waste their money for these... I came for my son, but after he paid for the meal, he doesn't want to come back either..Hmmm..ya'll folks need to do something with your price increase, so your customers would willing to visit you...otherwise, you'll be the next closing business in town...

Food quality is so bad, not fresh, old food and microwaved when ordered. Price is higher than other place nearby. Many other places nearby have better food quality, fresh and lower price with decent portions. Not recommended this restaurant.
