Thang's Cajun

Came here a couple times thinking it was a good place. Noticed the chicken chow mien and fried rice tasted funny a couple times and made my wife a bit sick. Turns out they were on the news with a bad report of keeping food at the wrong temperature among other things. Will not be going back. Barf.

I've been coming here for years and the food is always made fresh which explains the wait. I always get the 5 wings with shrimp fried rice. The wings are always fresh and flavorful, the rice is seasoned well with lotsof shrimp. I also like their gumbo. It's not a southern gumbo, but I like the flavor. The general taos chicken with fried rice is also really good. The only downside to this restaurant is that some of the foods like the crawfish etoufee aren't good at all so I stay away from that and I once had a bad experience with the gumbo. The customer service has been the same, plus it's a hole in the wall so it's to be expected. The guy at the window isn't necessarily rude, but short. I recommend this place for wings and shrimp fried rice.

Came here with a friend. Food was made fresh and you get a nice portion. Prices are good too.

Nice hole in the wall type place. Fried rice very good. Whole fried catfish is wonderful, does have bones but the fish falls off the bone.

Blah! Two stars because they didn't have bad drive through service. The guy didn't really talk other than to tell me how much and to sign. Then they didn't give me a fork. Anyway, I got the Sesame chicken. It was not tasty. The rice didn't have much flavor, and the chicken was almost too sweet. What killed it for me was that it was almost stale? It's like it had been fried, sat in the fridge, and then sat under a warmer to warm up. I won't be going back since there wasn't even any real flavor.

Beeen going here for a while its the best fried rice on this side of town for the price.. Wings not good I smell all my food before i eat it and the wings when you break them open dont smell fresh they smell spoil to me. And this was on several different attempts.. But the fish is the bomb and I luv the egg rolls... We will go bk for House fried rice and egg rolls
