Food quality is maintained and service quality too. If you have been here after the upgrade, you will agree that the ambiance is very much improved. Right now they have promotional gift cards sale going on. Except for soup which is always a base of chicken broth, everything they make has vegetarian options so I get to binge. Their lunch special with spring rolls and a rice item is a really good deal.

Ordered HRW take out from this restaurant over the weekend. For their promotion you get 4 courses, not just 3. I was disappointed that they did not have anymore Curry Puff. That was what I really wanted to try because it was different. I had to settle for the Golden Shrimp, which is just plain tempura shrimp in a dipping sauce. For second course I ordered Tom Yum soup with shrimp - level 3. The spice level just barely medium in my opinion and I could've probably did level 4. I do like that it had a lot of mushrooms, but not enough shrimp. It was like 3 shrimps. For entree I ordered the Red Snapper curry - level 3. Once again, I feel like their levels aren't as spicy as other Thai restaurants, so I could have gotten a 4. The curry tasted good. It also came with steamed jasmine rice and a veggie medley of carrots, broccoli and mushroom. Everything was packed separately. For dessert I had the fried banana and coconut ice cream. I thought it was going to be a whole fried banana, but it was cut up in pieces and fried in the same wrap they use for the rolls. It wasn't crunchy by the time I came around to it but I stuck it in the air fryer for a few min to refresh it. I really liked the coconut ice cream. You can tell it's made fresh with coconut shavings in it. It came with a honey on side to drizzle and the combination of all 3 was a great pairing.I ate the left overs 2 days later and the curry tasted so much better once it soaked in.

This was a very good Thai experience. There was a bit of a wait when we sat down but that was because of the timing (the restaurant just opened at 5) and there was only the one server. For the appetizer we had the Thai dim sum - really good. I had green curry (one of the best I've had) and hubby had seafood with chili paste. Both were excellent and the portions are a good size. The restaurant does a fantastic take out (during our meal about 15 orders were carried out) ! The restaurant itself is airy and clean but not large. We will be back.

The delicious basil sauce can not hide that the Chicken still tastes like fridge and it has been 5 years since my last review. I had moved away so didn't frequent as much. Place has been redecorated and some tables moved or gone. Service is prompt. Lunch specials still offered. I just need to remember to get something other than chicken.

Thai cottage was an average food experience. Ordered the chili chicken and yum nur. There wasn't anything that really stood out as far as taste. Nothing really stood out as far as flavor or Thai uniqueness. The staff was friendly and service was quick though. We felt that the prices were a little too high for the amount of food that we got to go. A little disappointed but still willing to go back and try other dishes.

I always prefer Thai restaurants to be private / family-owned as opposed to chains. However, Thai Cottage is a great chain place for some Thai food down here in TX. I have only ever had the Red Curry and Crab Fried Rice here and have always been pleased with these dishes on those few visits. I ordered the Red Curry with chicken at Level 4 out of 5 on spiciness. This curry was very delicious, full of bamboo shoots, peas, carrots, basil and chicken. The heat level was super tolerable for me, but still satisfying. Almost all of the bamboo shoots in my bowl were well-cooked and soft with some crunchy contrast. The other veggies added even more bite and flavor to the meal in a very positive way. The gravy soaking it all up was very good with a semi-sweet overall taste, noticeable coconut milk, herby basil notes in the sauce and an ideal creamy, consistency. The service was very efficient, attentive and friendly again.

My husband and I got Tom yum soups, pad Thai, and yellow curry. My son had the chicken fried rice. OMG the flavor in each of these dishes was amazing! So comforting. Portions were well served. We love Thai food and this has made the list of our top Thai restaurants.The restaurant was clean and the vibe was good. Service was just right...they checked on us but it wasn't too much. Also, the Thai tea was perfect! We will definitely be returning!

I've now eaten here twice and have been very impressed with the food on both occasions. The panang curry was awesome (with added chicken)! I can also recommend the Sizzling Beef and the Taste of Ginger. I like spicy food and you can select the amount of spice you want (based on a number scale) so it's a good place for people who don't like spice too. The service on both visits was outstanding and we will be back!
