Hidden gem in Houston Texas. Very good traditional American food. I love coming here for brunch or breakfast

I was disappointed eating here. One star for large portions but the food was very bland. I doused everything with salt packets and hot sauce for some flavor. The grits were stiff, the catfish was sour, the house made biscuits were extremely doughy, dry and tasteless and the coffee tasted old and bitter.This was not a diverse crowd and the language barrier made it difficult to order, but our waitress tried her hardest to provide her best service and for that I added another star. Telwink missed the mark, I'm just not a fan.

Let me just say, you definitely get your money worth. So much food for a great price. It's your typical old school diner nothing fancy. Service was good and fast. Can't complain for the price!

A classic local diner with solid food and great service. We love diners, and having telwink so close means we come here regularly! Parking: There's a large parking lot with plenty of parking. The parking lot can be a bit rough in some areas though with dips so be aware. Seating/ambiance: The decor is very small-diner vibes. Nothing too crazy. There's tons of seating too - booths, tables (for various sized parties), and bar seating. It's good to note that there can be a long line out the door, that being said tables turn over quickly and we've never chosen to leave because of the line. Food: The food is solid diner food. There's a lot of options from breakfast to lunch. You really can't go wrong with any of it ! I believe they also have specials depending on the day I believe. My personal go to is the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes but the waffles are good too. Other things to note: The bathroom doesn't have changing tables.

My Mom likes to keep it simple when it comes to her food choices, we was out running errands and today was my turn to treat. I knew she would really like Telwink Grill. The wait wasn't too long, while she waited in line, I was enjoying the energy of the eclipse moon.Your never to young or old to enjoy their country cooking and wonderful service.I ordered my usual, a real egg meat omelette, an omelette is not a real omelette without real eggs. Grits of course, fresh churned buttery butter hold the cheese and sugar please. Mom got fish, green beans and fries. So we're chit chatting and my nose and eyeballs keep zooming on my neighbors stack of pancakes. My nose and eyeballs all ways bully's my waistline, I fought really hard but that's a battle I choose not to fight. "Miss, can you bring me 1 pancake?" Who said that? In my Porsha William voice, I look around and Mom said "You, Niki"Our food came and all conversation ended.That's my review in 300 words are less.

Quick breakfast. I only had a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich. But it was so good. This place closes really early. That's an indication for me that a place is good (limited hours) I made my way here before the airport and I def will plan to make this a part of my airport routine. Greasy spoon food at its best. Will return for the pancakes, omlettes or waffles

Pretty good spot for a hearty meal!Stopped by with the family. Good burgers, food service, excellent pancakes and friendly faces. I would definitely recommend this place.

An amazing place with the feel that you had a home cooked meal. Service is great. Old school atmosphere. Large portions of food at really great prices. Their delicious breakfast puts me back to sleep every time.
