I don't remember how it got on the list, but Taylor'd BBQ was on my short list of restaurants to visit in Atlanta... I am glad it was on my list. The lunch time rush must be significant, as all the parking spots were taken (I parked around the corner) and all the lunch specials were sold out. The lunch specials were not on the menu, so I trusted a local who "accused" me of ordering the last of the chicken wings. I appears that there is hamburger lunch special and a 5-winglet, one side lunch special for ~$10. I paid $18 for a 6-winglet, two side meal....and the wings were good! They were smokey, well-seasoned, juicy and meaty. The habenaro BBQ sauce (I declined the ranch and blue cheese) added a perfect kiss of "sweet and heat". Equally well-seasoned and generously portioned were the sides. The collard greens were sweet and savory with zesty overtones of salt and vinegar. The barbeque baked beans were equally on point.Overall, the food, service and ambiance were good. The menu lists chopped brisket (not sliced) and ribs are available for dinner only. It's not a traditional BBQ menu, but they are very good a what they do.

$+($8-15 pp)Location: Food: Service: Ambiance: Taylor'D BBQ has been a round for a number of years in the Decatur area. It is a small and quaint restaurant that will get you through your BBQ fix if you're in a bind. This last time, the brisket in my sandwich was a little cold. But since I had it loaded with Cole slaw, it didn't make much difference. Though, if it was by itself, it would've been bad.I'm not sure this would be my go-to BBQ place, but it gets the job done. Not much parking, but then again.. not much sitting inside either. It was ok.

FIRST TIMER! TO GO ORDER. yall I didn't make it out the parking lot lmaoo I had to savior it. I started off with a $22 POUND of beef brisket! It was so tender. The fat part of the brisket was too salty but the food was fantastic, and the service was beyond excellent. However, the sides were pricey for a $5 8oz cup, I feel as if the portion size of the sides could have been larger, but I suppose you're paying for quality. I will be back! Lastly I used some of the left over brisket and placed it on top of a cheese pizza, so good. Oh and the meal was a total of $39 after I tipped.

I'm still a fan of their Smash burgers, the single is good, the double is better the triple is just too much. Pair this with the tots or fries and you have a winner. You can't go wrong with the baked beans either. Now the mac & cheese is bleh, but they turn it up when paired with the brisket (brisket mac & cheese). It is the closest and best BBQ in Avondale the consistency keeps me coming back here.

I went here on 2/2/2024. I haven't been in a while. The bbq is delicious. I took my mom to run some errands and she got me a brisket and and she got a pecan pie. She said that she would try the wings next time so I got a order of wings and a sweet potato pie. First time getting a dessert from here. The brisket sandwich is delicious and the wings always hit. The sweet potato pie is hitting. They also have carrot cake, red velvet and banana pudding.

I visited here because of 2024 Burger Week. I ordered the Bar-B-Q Brisket Birria Burger. Double smash Patties on poblano sauce topped with shredded brisket, cheese, pickled onions, and chipotle bacon served with birria dipping sauce. It was an amazingly crafted burger with so many complimentary flavors perfectly meshed in this burger. I hope this is a regular menu item after Burger week bc I'll definitely be returning to look for it. This also makes me want to try more of their menu.

Atl Burger Week brought me to Taylor's BBQ but, the Baked beans is what's solidifying me as a comeback customer. The restaurant submitted a delicious burger for burger week which was a "Blackened Boudin Burger". The chef that created the menu is from the same area of Louisiana I am so, I knew the food would be good. No doubt I'll be back to try more menu items!

Great bbq! The ribs are delicious here and sauce is not required which is always a good sign! We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon just in time for the rib to be ready a lil after 4 pm. Service was good and friendly and they have a several booths for inside seating. For my sides i chose baked beans which were so good sweet and savory in flavor and Mac and cheese which was just ok i prefer mine of the baked variety. I also got a lemonade which i could have passed on needed a little bit more sugar to balance the tang of the lemon. Over this is a good bbq spot and I'd recommend checking them out.

Ordered this through UberEats and I have a lot of thoughts. Overall, the wings (I got spicy) and the Jambalaya Que were the stars of the show. I also got the Hot Honey Mustard sauce and mixed it into the Jambalaya--so much better. The Mac and cheese had no flavor or color, just cheese and noodles. The brisket could've used more seasoning and when you order online, you can't choose lean, fatty or mix so 75% of my brisket was fat. It also was a very small portion for the price. My single biggest issue is that I ordered the pecan pie for $6 which I assumed would be a piece of fresh pie -- it was a premade, prepackaged mini pie. False advertising and not worth it.
