100% recommend getting a agua fresca. I got pepino (cucumber) and he got mango.
There's probably about 7 to 8 tables inside. It's so colorful and fun and feels like your tia is making you a plate in her house.

I've eaten here before, but I'd forgotten until I stopped by to pick up some takeout I ordered. It's been so long ago, I forgot what I'd eaten before. This time, I had the Milanesa plate. I love good Milanesa, but it's hard to find. This was excellent - I ordered with flour tortillas, and it came with beans, rice, onion slices, tomato slices, avocado slices, and rice. I added sour cream and Tapatio - very, very good. She had the carnitas street tacos and said they were good, 3-4 stars. Kids had the carnitas burritos and ground beef burritos, they both said 3-4 stars, but one noted that they wished there was something other than meat in the burritos (didn't see a kid menu for her).Good Milanesa (and the fact that they had it on the menu at all) gets 5 stars from me!

Stopped by for lunch and had the carnitas taco plate . . . Simply the best version of that dish in all of Denver. Tarasco's has been serving wonderful Michoacan food forever. Gotta start hitting that part of town more just to taste that great food!

Tarascos is one of my all time favorite spots to eat! They are so good we actually had their food for our wedding! The service is always fantastic and all the food is amazing. There is not a single item on the menu that you would be disappointed in ordering but my go to's are always the Tamal de Elote and the Chicken Mole. The Tamal de Elote is amazing it's a masa tamale with no filling covered in cheese and salsa verde salsa, I can eat like 10 of them if they weren't so large! The chicken mole is out of this world! I normally hate mole because I'm not a chocolate fan at all, but this mole is different he uses 7 different chilis and a ton of different spices and oh man you can just drink the sauce! This was actually the dish we served at our wedding and our guests were not mad about it at all. They all have vegan and gluten-free options as well which is very rare for a Mexican restaurant and even those options are pretty delicious coming from a carnivore. The restaurant is small and cozy but I love the decor, it's very fitting for the restaurant. I would recommend this place any day of the week you will not be disappointed! Just beware it's really small so you might drive right by if you aren't paying attention.

Everything I've ever gotten from here has been delicious and made with very fresh ingredients. So far, I've tried their torta, burrito, and tacos....mostly with beef or chicken. They are batting a thousand. I've only ever gotten takeout, starting back in 2021 during the pandemic, and through just a few weeks ago. Their consistency is a good sign. The inside seating area is pretty small, and a little cozy with tables pretty close together, but not too close. It's easy to miss this place when driving down Federal, because it's tucked back a little bit behind the building next door to it. So if you're using GPS to get there, be sure to slow down a bit as you approach it. TL;DR their food is terrific and definitely worth a try!

I searched this place up wanting to get a quality smothered burrito experience that was also vegetarian-friendly. This was clearly the right place, with ample vegan variations on the menu (though I got mine vegetarian with a sprinkling of cheese on top). Options were distinctive, and I loaded up. My burrito was quite beautiful, and the sauce elevated the array of plant-based ingredients inside. A chocolate corn drink delivered the promised mix of flavors. I didn't need to add a lentil soup, and while it wasn't fancy, it was hearty and satisfying and lentil soup remains an underutilized food offering in my estimation. This place was in a fairly anonymous suburban area but was brightly decorated inside. I could have ordered a dozen other things if I'd had room.

My wife and I stopped by Tarasco's after attending a funeral service. To start, we ordered chips and salsa, and then my wife ordered the Mole Siete with Carnitas, and ordered the Huevos Rancheros. My wife fully enjoyed the mole and found it rich, complex, with the right amount of chocolate and spiciness. My huevos rancheros tasted fresh, spicy, and delicious. The chili was flavorful, bright, and not too mild. It seems meals are cooked from scratch, so there's a bit of a wait, but well worth it. The restaurant is on the smaller side, and the decor could benefit with a bit of updating. The service was fabulous and I will definitely be back.

Great food, service, and cute lil spot. Love the menu options for gluten free and vegetarian restrictions. First authentic Mexican restaurant that understands the gluten allergy, and is SO delicious.

Great food. We had a large order for takeout with some food allergies. No mess ups. Tried all vegetarian enchiladas, diablo shrimp, pastor plate. Chicken enchilada was very basic.

This small Mexican food spot on federal has a unique vibe and many options for foodService was really friendly and warm. She gave us an introduction of her favorites and recommendations. My favorite dish was the quesabirria. The beef was very flavorful not to mention the soup for dipping. The soft, melting cheese combine with the contrast of crispy fried tortilla was amazing. The other dish with pork was not very memorable lax flavor, and the pork was dry.Displays also serves different juice with fruit purées. I love to come back and try other dishes

After a long day of being outside, we almost went for takeout. We're so glad we opted for eating at Tarasco's instead! Being from out of state it took a minute for us to find the restaurant, which is set back in the parking lot and next to a dispensary. We were immediately welcomed and given menus. Our questions about leaving out dairy were answered. And though we both ended up ordering the same thing, no regrets! The special, enchiladas con morisqueta, was amazing. A little bit of spice and a lot of food. Our drinks--the James Bond and a limon fresca--were also perfect. The restaurant is fairly small with four booths and a few small tables. The bathroom, a gender neutral single stall, was clean. And overall we felt comfortable and enjoyed our time and the service!
