We ordered the 2 piece fried chicken with collard greens and sweet potatoes: everything was so salty. From the fried chicken batter to the collard greens and sweet potatoes. We also got the beef stew: first reaction it did not look appetizing. Tasting it, definitely was not flavorful. We really wanted to like this place and ignore the reviews but man, disappointing meal. Only the cornbread was good

This restaurant is listed as The House on UberEats. Had buy one get one free shrimp special. The shrimp were small, too few and a little salty. Collard greens tasted burnt, mac and cheese was average. Cake slice not as pictured, it was much smaller and the banana pudding wasn't the quick made stuff.

Me & My Husband ordered food from here & let me tell you that everything overall was a 10/10. We enjoyed everything that was ate. The service was immaculate & the ladies were so kind! We even received cake because we were missing our mac and cheese AND when she gave us our mac and cheese we got to keep the greens that were ALSO in there as well & that cake was absolutely delicious & moist!!! so thank you Ladies! & We definitely recommend anyone that wants to eat here to do so!

Catfish and fries...catfish too salty Creamed corn was overcooked,hard and way too sweet!Green beans were clearly cannedMac and cheese was just ok...too much black pepper Dressing had too much red peppers so you couldn't taste any other flavors. This was bad.

First off I'm ticked. This is the first time I've ordered from here. Looking for some good food not restaurant type food. This is my last time though. This place can kiss my whole entire @$$! I dont eat dark meat. I ordered white-all white. They didn't even mix it and then gave me these little kid drumsticks!? I havent had a drumstick since 2nd grade. Jeez. Really?! I gave them one star because the sweet potatoes were decent.

I give them 3 5 - 4.0. The food was delicious. There just wasn't enough. Especially the vegetables. I could certainly use more. It would be nice if the container were deeper. The food really was delicious.

I've eaten here countless time via delivery during the Covid pandemic. It has been consistently hot, fresh, delicious, and the closest thing I can find to a home cooked meal. I'm a young widow who loves to cook but doesn't have the energy to cook full meals for myself anymore. My go-to's are: baked chicken (dark or white - I love it over rice), yams, green beans, collards. I enjoyed the pork chop once. The shrimp is perfectly cooked. Mac and cheese casserole is closest to grandma's. The banana pudding finishes it off.

small portion and this is unusual for them. not sure what is happening with them. Usually decent food and service but seems to be going down hill.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was not desirable! Burnt must be the quality they aim for as much of my different items were burned! The neckbones and 1 turkey wing I purchased were tender and tasty. The greens, Mac and cheese had both been burned as well as the corn muffin.

We ordered our food via Uber eats. The orders was wrong . We ordered ribs , cream squash and broccoli what we got green beans, corn and ribs . 2nd order ribs, rice and broccoli , we got ribs, rice and green beans . No broccoli. 3rd order - Ribs, Mac&cheese, collard greens . We got ribs , burnt mac&cheese and greens - No collard greens.What a disappointment
