TAG Burger Bar

I recently visited Tag Burger Bar, expecting a great burger experience, but unfortunately, I left disappointed. The burgers here just don't live up to the hype. They lack flavor and almost seem like they could be frozen rather than freshly made. For the price you're paying, you'd expect something much more satisfying. In my opinion, they are overpriced for what you're getting.If you're craving a truly good burger, I'd recommend skipping Tag Burger Bar and heading over to Denver Biscuit Co. They know how to do burgers right; flavorful, juicy, and worth every penny. Don't waste your time or money at Tag when there are much better options nearby!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon when there were only a few tables seated. Took awhile to be greeted by our server. She left us with a water carafe and 2 dirty glasses. Took forever to come back to take our order. She had no other tables. We got sandwiches, fries and onion rings plus a salad to start. I also got a tea. The food took too long and the burgers and fries came out first and then 2 mins later our salad came out. The silverware we were told to use were sitting in the condiment caddy with a pen and some bits of trash. Old lettuce was on one fork. We cleaned them with a napkin and the water carafe. Nasty!! The burgers were mid and the onions rings were so soggy and oily they were not edible. The salad was measly and had too much lettuce on the verge of going bad. Never got asked if I wanted a tea refill because the waitress disappeared and we didn't see her again. I had to ask another server for the check. Wish we had gone somewhere else. Not even worth close to the $60 we paid. I've been wondering if our check was wrong too, but we just wanted to get out of there.

Dined at Tag Burger Bar this evening and it was nice to see a crowd at the restaurant. It's a great space to sit outside in the summer and have a nice beer. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and greeted us right away. He took our drink order while we were looked at the menu. We both decided on The Blind Texas burger. The burger was cooked perfectly , but could have used more BBQ sauce on it since you really couldn't taste it. We also got a basket of the onion strings and that was just ehh. I'm trying to figure the word to describe them, but the breading almost seemed to be still wet and not cooked long enough to get the crunch. This was more so on the bigger pieces. I would go back to try different sandwich and a different appetizer.

Came for a late lunch on Sunday and wasn't busy at all, maybe a few people at bar. Feels like a sport bar with tons of tvs inside and loud. They have games for table, will say both sketch boards were broken and they gave us a kids menu to color the burger and when asked they had no crayons??? I like the menu but was disappointed by the size and quality of the food. I Got the chicken club and the chicken was severely lacking. It was the tiny slither of a chicken breast... as I ate I had far more bun than chicken. A nice juicy chicken breast would have been nice. For a $15 sandwich it left MUCH TO BE DESIRED. To add onion rings was an actual, $3 plus a $4 bottle of root beer at $23 plus tax and tip I did not leave happy or satisfied. My guest got the 1/4 lb burger and was super thin patty on potato roll. The fries had that puffy skin like in old oil - we're not good. Kind of bummed about this place it's in my area and we so needed a nice burger joint and this just didn't cut it. Probably will not return.

We love Molly and Elliot at Tag! This place has been wonderful and welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Great food and service from Molly and Elliot. Ask Elliot about his fishing trips. Happy Hour menu is great .. and always great beer on tap. Finally ... if you are a Bloody Mary ... there mix is on point.

We hadn't ever tried TAG and were in town for the weekend. We sat at the bar and the bartender, Molly, was so friendly and accommodating. We wish we lived in the area so we could make this a frequent place to patronize.

Molly and Elliot are amazing bartenders! The food is good and kids eat free Tuesdays.

Great apps and beer!! Lots of fun! Cool atmosphere!!!Good things for kids to do. Definitely a spot to go to when in Denver!
