Tacos Y Mariscos El Guti

No frills, no hugs but GREAT food at a good price. I usually get some less "'Merican" tacos... buche, tripa, lengua, (pork stomach, cow stomach, cow tongue) and my wife usually gets more "mainstream" tacos... steak or shrimp.In my opinion the tacos is where they shine. Double corn tortillas, onion & cilantro and their house green & red salsas. They are always very good. We have had others, such as pastor, and have never been disappointed. I have also had various breakfast burritos and while I don't get all cross-eyed they are better than average.My initial statement of "no hugs" relates to the service. I eat here at least 3x a month. And while I always feel welcome it took a long time to feel "welcome". That's my criticism of the business. Smile a bit more ya'all. Seems like it is family run, the ingredients are fresh and consistent, it's simple but we'll prepared. You'll do WAY better here than a lot of taco places in the area. And if you're stopping at the Taco Bell across the street instead of here you're doing yourself a disservice and spending more $$$ on nastiness.

This is right next to a mechanic shop. I would even venture to guess that at some point, this was more of an office/waiting room for customers but don't let it fool you, food here is tasty. This is no frills, it has a handful of tables, an area where you can sit, bar style and watch your car getting fixed or just the traffic go by. Food was tasty and plentiful. You can order one taco or an order of tacos which brings 5 tacos. Think street tacos. Double soft tortilla, with carne asada and its onions and enough lemon wedges to go around. The plate also came with two different types of salsas: a green one and a red one.Next time we are in the area, or we need our car fixed, we will stop by and try their breakfast burritos since they are served all day.

OMG the Quesabirria Tacos are amazing! I got the 4 Tacos with the bowl of Consume. It was stellar! The side sauces are spicy and delicious.This is a taqueria-style restaurant. You can dine onsite, but most people order take out or DoorDash. You order and pay at the counter before your meal. They have water and soft drinks, but do not serve alcohol. There is limited off street parking in front of the restaurant.

Formerly Bedazzled burrito. Formerly formerly Alameda burrito. Same vibe and menu with some slight changes. New owners but it's local so I'm down to give it a shot.I was never able to try Alameda Burrito but I frequented Bedazzled countless times. Brought friends and would often grab the breakfast burritos and everyone would be happy. The food under this most recent ownership change is hit or miss. Feels like it's all up to who is behind the grill that day. Ordering remains the same. Inside seating and vibe. Just not as friendly as the previous location and the menu is a bit too big. Glad for the variety but I think offering less and really fine tuning those items is the business move.Prices are fair for the area and it's the only real taco place in the area. Taco Bell adjacent, Luna's Cafe is nearby, and the tamale spot in Arlington Square. Parking can be tough going across 64th and with Sheridan turning onto the street also. The same for backing out of their lot. Only five spots all shared with the nearby businesses makes it stressful. I'll hit this up again because it's easy to walk, drive, or skate too. Maybe it's time for another changing of the guard?

Terrible attitude from person taking your order. Then they give you burritos with eggshells in them. Don't come here this place sucks.

I ordered lengua tacos and asada tacos with green salsa. Both the tacos and salsa were amazing! They loaded the meat which was great. Not sure what these other reviews are talking about with the food? It's authentic.... maybe they aren't used to that?If you like smothered green chili they have the option. Glad there are actual authentic options on the menu. Will definitely be coming back.

I asked for an azada fries and got this caldo de papas smh, it looks nothing like the pics they have inside the restaurant, not going back!

Hidden gem! Breakfast burritos are huge and delicious! Although, a little more meat ratio to the standard inside filling would put this breakfast burrito over the top. Came back for a late lunch for the quesobirria tacos. Wow! Tasty, hot, good flavor and lots of inside fillings. Birria consumé was yummy! Definitely will be back before we head back to Texas, but have them saved for our return trips as we're back her at least twice a year. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

Best local Mexican food around. I love this place! A big variety of food as well and the staff is always friendly.
