Tacos & Margaritas Mexican Grill

Love this little spot for the quesabirria tacos and the margarita tower! Service is good except during peak hours which is to be expected from a small business. Worth the patience though ;)

3.5 stars. Mixed feelings! I came here with a huge group before we headed to a company holiday party at Boondocks, ordering a ton of margaritas and tequila shots. My favorite drink was the Jalapeno Margarita, though I had some sort of Mango Margarita and found it too syrupy. The Birria Quesadilla was sooo good. Super juicy and a little too greasy. Service was fine. Great spot for lots of people, with plenty of parking in the lot right outside. It's not my first-choice restaurant for Mexican food, but I would be open to coming back again if friends suggested it.

I always try to find something positive whenever I Yelp a local business, as I am big on spending my hard earned dollars locally. Regarding Tacos & Margaritas Mexican Grill, that positive would absolutely be the service. From when we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the friendly host and seated immediately. Our server matched the host's energy and was just as friendly!The ambiance was that of a typical Mexican restaurant, from the decor to the music that was playing in the background. I can say that this restaurant appeared to be well-kept. Now for the food... I decided to order the quesabirria tacos, which came with four tacos, consomé, limes and two different types of salsas. In my honest opinion, these were the worst birria tacos I've ever eaten. The birria had zero flavor and all of the meat I received was all fatty pieces. Maybe I'm a little biased because I am from Tucson, AZ and Arizona has THE BEST Mexican food, but these particular birria tacos were atrocious. I think what made it worse was the fact that for four tacos at this restaurant, they have them priced at $18.99, which is insane, especially for such awful birria tacos. I get inflation is currently out of control, but so is this restaurant's prices... Could've been an "off day" for the cooks, but I won't take a chance eating here again. Good luck and happy eating, my foodies!

We enjoyed the Taco Quisibirria and it was delicious. Our first time here and the food was amazing. Love the spice and taste of the tacos. I mean you can order them mild or spicy. People are nice here and the customers are treated good. Menu options are good here too. I also had some Margaritas too, and my girl drove us home, since she didn't drink. Anyhow, we will be back again.

The ambiance was clean! The service was sub-par (unprofessional), and the food was okay..The Quesabirria is really good! The enchiladas were good as well! The tacos (Al pastor/lamb) were probably some of the worst I've ever had. I've been there around 6 times. I don't think I'll be going back.

I love Tacos and Margaritas. We visit at least once every two months. The carne asada tacos and the spicy margarita are my favorite. The chips and salsa are truly hard to stop eating. My daughter likes the enchiladas and my husband loves the chimichanga. The prices are very reasonable. The service is always great, even though it is really packed in the evenings. They often have live music, which is great! My only complaint is that sometimes it is way too loud to carry on a conversation. Anyhow, if you haven't been, check it out!

Based on the reviews, I tried the quesabirria tacos, these were great. Not the BEST I have ever had, but a great deal and they serve four tacos with this meal. It was very filling and the flavors were pretty good. I would have liked more crunch to the tacos from a proper pan fry, but the hot salsa on the side was very flavorful and good. They give you chips and salsa with your meal, always a nice bonus. The margarita was good and decently strong and large in size. All in all, a fair price and good experience. Contrary to other reviews, the service was very good for us, the waitress checked on us often and we were definitely taken care of. A nice surprise was the live music Friday evening, it was lovely acoustic guitar with two singers. I was worried it would be loud obnoxious music on a Friday night, but it was VERY enjoyable.

Staff were extremely nice, we were seated immediately and food came out very fast. Restrooms were clean and decorated nicely. The enchiladas were good, but I feel that the sides could've been seasoned more. The tortilla soup was absolutely amazing, they served a whole avocado with it, and it was a very big portion. Definitely recommend coming here

Yummy food and excellent service! You won't find a better atmosphere around town! The Mariachi plate and a House Margarita is our Go to but they have a Taco Tuesday deal too!

When we first went to Tacos & Margaritas it was a pleasant place to be. To eat , enjoy a conversation, and relax. now the place is loud and irritating with the musical combo they have in there. seems like the quality of the food has gone down too. My wife enjoyed having a top shelf Margarita and the server would bring the name brand tequila on the side. When we went in three days ago the top shelf margarita didn't come with tequila inside or out. Don't think we will be back
