We love this place! This will be our perfect spot to come whenever we crave Korean food from now on. So many options to choose from such as korean fried chicken, pajeon, korean corn dogs, tteokbokki,.. Our favorite was the bulgogi pizza and the corn cheese. We destroyed everything. We will be back!

Great place to eat with friends! The service is good, and the place isn't overly crowded. There's a lot to grab yourself, and there's other things to order off the menu as well. For your sweet pot, you gather the ingredients yourself, and then they will cook it for you. Personally, I liked the Ssam the first time we came, but they added honey mustard onto the wraps the second time, which I thought wasn't needed. My favorite things are the desserts here. The injeolmi rice cakes cooked with the waffle iron, bingsu, and boba are must tries!

This place is so fun and an amazing addition to the Sugar Land food scene! Situated next to sushi masa and seafood city, this corner of SL is hoppin and I love it! Our favorite thing here is the Korean fried chicken. After Bonchon's departure, I've had a KFC shaped hole in my life since there hasn't been any nearby alternatives to take its place the last few years. Sweet Pot has fixed that!! I hope they add it to their to go menu when they start that part of their offerings. Having just opened for a month there are still some typical kinks, like bussing tables (no one came to get our used plates and trash) and one of our menu items we ordered never came so we filled up on everything and didn't get a chance to try the pork belly ssam. But what we did fill up on was mostly delicious so I'm not hating on that! Back to the food: Galbi fried chicken was hands down the best. The Korean soup hot pot was yummy too! You pick what goes into the pot in the buffet area (seafood, fish balls, veggies, etc), choose the soup type, and they cook it for you! You can even opt for them to top it off with a cheese layer. We went with the mild Rose tteokbokki and it was delicious! Creamy with a slight kick. They also have a great milk tea fridge with a variety of premade drinks that had diff jellies added to them. They are waiting on their liquor license to be able to sell soju and cocktails. So excited for that! Can't wait to try more of their cooked items you can order from their menu. This is where most of their meats dishes are. For $27 a person, this place is fan-frickin tastic!

We arrived after the lunch crowd departed, and a good thing we did. The isles around the AYCE food trays were narrow, and there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the items on the buffet: "gimbap" was next to "jap chae" across from "bulgogi pizza?"Our server had a heavy accent, so when asked, "WTF is this" he had to repeat himself several times before I had any inkling as to his answer. Really annoying since we only had about 40 minutes for lunch. I finally gave up and just filled the large bowl provided at the table with condiments; Something like a Mongolian Buffet, with a couple of important exceptions. This first was protein was ONLY seafood. The second was preparation. Instead of frying the bowl's contents, you pick a broth, and chef boils everything. WHICH broth to choose? There's 5-10 choices, but knowing nothing about Korean Broths, I just threw a dart, and it was OK. Very much like Hot Pot, which I avoid except when outdoor temps fall below 0F. This NEVER happens in Houston, TX where on this particular day Real Feel was above 100F. Not the restaurant's fault, and now I, and you, know what a Korean Buffet is all about, OK? Bring a towel.

This is a must try! The concept is so different than anything I've seen in Houston. It's a Korean buffet that focuses on building your own hot pot and enjoying other hot dishes on the side such as gimbap, jap chae, bulgogi pizza, ramen, and lots more.Service is fantastic and the entire place is kept very clean. Im very impressed with the attention to detail. I would love to see this continue over the years, but I know this is always a challenge. Keep it up!The food was good overall. Some items I didn't care for, but that's all buffets. This is a fun concept. I would definitely come back!

Recently opened and the interior is bright and clean. Good place to take the family because of the wide variety of common Korean favorites (something for everybody). Ingredients were high quality and fresh. Staff was kind and patient, and regularly came by to remove finished plates. Highly recommend.
