Supreme Gumbo

So I'm super excited about this spot. I've tried there gumbo it's seasoned well and very tasty. I don't like the cheap silverware that accompanies the gumbo because it's not sturdy enough to scoop out the gumbo as it is hearty. The atmosphere has a really cool vibe outdoor seating very friendly and welcoming. They also give you a complementary alcoholic beverage with every meal. I had Bacardi and sprite was delicious. We also tried the gumbo quesadillas for me it wasn't a Hair but for my friends they devoured them

I'm sorry but to be honest I was actually very dissatisfied With the understanding that the lights We're off but they still did their best to serve people so that was a good thing.The tacos were really good but the gumbo I'm sorry was not good to me at all. But as far as customer service it was good they tried their best to please everyone

Gumbo so good, I came home and slapped my Momma. This was fingerlicking, spoon slurping good! We drove 30 minutes to get there and loved every minute. Go slurp and dip, you'll be glad you did!

Gumbo tacos were amazing. The staff are friendly, nice environment. The whole family enjoyed the food. Definitely worth it.

I died and went to Heaven. Adjectives to describe the absolute awesomeness of this food- tender, juicy, cheesy, crunchy, delicious, flavor pop-rockin the tastebuds, little bit of spicy, melody of spices and flavors to make you feel better about anything going wrong in your life because that is the powder of their food. Don't walk, RUN! This food is the one that gets you happy dancing as soon as you take in the deliciousness of that first bite!

Nice little place good food. If you like it served fresh and hot this is your spot. I know I'll be back soon.

Unassuming exterior with covered patios with a hodgepodge of tables, chairs and sofas and parking in grass lot. The food is really, really good! And the service was awesome (TY, Jacoby).The chicken and sausage gumbo is robust, spicy but not too spicy. Not the best I've had since I prefer it more straightforward/plain but it was good. The potato salad was among the best I've ever had and omggg the strawberry cake!!Can't wait to return and try the gumbo/infused tacos and some of the more "exotic" offerings. Ps. I'm from Lafayette, LA so this gumbo is the real-deal. As they say," Come get these groceries!!"

went on a Thursday at 14:00. the person behind the counter seemed irritated that we interrupted her day. She finally took our order for two gumbos to go. we got home and proceeded to eat them. the rice was way underdone and very crunchy. even worse was the gumbo was over salted. and the chicken was very dry and inedible. sorry, guess it was a bad day.

I first had gumbo at their Southmore location during my year of trying gumbo everywhere. And I liked it. A friend recently had gumbo at their new Cavalcade location and it was too salty. But I think that was just an "off" day or the broth had reduced too much. I really enjoyed my gumbo today, here in March 2023.It turned into soul and blues day for me. The day started with having a listen to the Shuggie Otis catalog on Spotify. Then there was an interview with Ruthie Foster on the radio. And now, here, very fine Louisiana dry crawfish with an excellent rhythm and soul sound track at Supreme Gumbo. Eclectic enough that Shazam doesn't recognize most of the tracks. But I do lol. I'm already looking forward to a return for crawfish.

I've got to be totally honest I've seen this place on social media and couldn't wait to try it bcuz of all the hype. Boy ole boy I was disappointed! To be fair the tacos were ok but the gumbo was not it at all! The gumbo was thick (brothy) and salty. Their pricing point is a bit extreme for the product their putting out! I would suggest to not advertise as having the best gumbo in town if you're not able to produce it! It would keep a lot of ppl like me from being underwhelmed! I'm not sure if I would go again, considering they only have one size of gumbo and a very limited menu. Don't think I'm willing to pay $14 for a salty sample again to toss out after a couple bites.
