Sunny's Diner

It pains me to give out a one star review and I don't give these out lightly. The prices are fine, the food was fine, the servers were what you expect at a diner. Why the 1 star review? Well, when you have an open kitchen area and the cook isn't wearing gloves and handles the toast, the bacon and whatever else he was handling, I was grossed out. Yes, this can happen at the finest dining establishments but when you are so blatant about it just yuck! The bathrooms were on par with dirty dining and should've been the first red flag. Fool me once, not getting a second chance!

This spot is about what you expect. Cheaper diner with decent food. It was quiet enough to catch up with a friend I hadn't seen in too long.I ordered everything a La carte...two eggs, bacon, and sausage link.It was good, I'd go back.

This place was not very clean and after eating & paying for our food we saw the cook touching the food with his bare hands & this really grossed us out.

This is one of the best value places around with good food and friendly service. The owners came to the land of opportunity and are making their hard work a success in this small mom and pop diner

Great place for diner food! Exceeded expectations in service and value. I stopped at Sunny's for the first time yesterday with my brother (my treat) while my car was getting work completed down the street. I'll be back for sure. The place was pretty busy when we popped in but service was fast and friendly. Multiple coffee refills, patience from the server while we talked over thick, rich French toast, eggs and bacon. The location was a little odd, situated in a gas station building with a Dunkin' Donuts attached but once inside, a lot like Monk's Cafe in Seinfeld or any of a thousand in the same fashion. Highly recommended for service, value, quality and authenticity.

How did I not know that this absolute gem was right down the street from my house all these years?! This place is a blast from the past! Love the red diner chairs! Down home cooking that comes to the table fast. I especially like their hot chocolate and their toast. I will definitely be back.

Food is always great and cheap here. Cheeseburgers, French toast, and Steak & eggs are my favorite. The service and ambiance is pretty typical for a hole in the wall diner. If you like simple classic food this is a good place for you. If you're looking for something high end, this might not be your best option.

Have eaten here several times. Food so so at best. Today I walked in and sat down at my usual table. Waitress walked right by me twice and never acknowledged me. When two men walked in and sat down she was right there with menus and ready to take their order. Really? In the 21st century you don't think women go out to eat alone? Crazy thing is I have always tipped servers well. But hey, if you think you can't wait on me because I don't have a dick, I'll gladly take my business elsewhere.

We stopped in for breakfast yesterday. The service and Food were great! Best Corned Beef Hash around!! The place was clean and the staff nice! We will visit again!
