First time visiting Denver and this place was highly recommended so we decided to try it out! I didn't realize it was Japanese-inspired cuisines, so was even more excited to try being half Japanese. We went Sunday morning Labor Day weekend around 10:30am, so it was pretty crowded. Grab a reservation if you can, otherwise they do take walk-ins.When we arrived they said it would be about an hour wait. So we put our names in and went to explore the Denver Market. Grabbed some drinks at the bar there while waiting. We received a text 30 min later saying our table was ready and walked back over.We were seated at a cozy little table inside. My boyfriend ordered the Bloody Hell Bloody Mary with vodka and I got the Pom Poko. Both cocktails were delicious! The Bloody Mary had a unique savory spiciness that I hadn't tasted before - 100% recommend any BM fan give it a try.For lunch my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Sandwich and I got the Colorful Colorado. Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches we've ever had. SO moist and flavorful! He rated it 10/5 stars! And I had to try the dish named after the state. Really tasty mix of colorful ingredients. Nicely balanced breakfast with perfectly poached eggs. Added avocado.Thank you so much for the amazing brunch!

TLDR: A non-traditional brunch place which will soon be your favorite. Food: Colorful Colorado: Solid A - not as dense as you may think Asa-Gohan: A+ taste as good as it sounds. I would come here again just for this.Vibe: -What you see is what you get. either you're gonna like it by the photos or you're not. What can be better?: Services is a bit on the slower side, but could have been my personal experience. Staff was SUPER nice and food was amazing. Take all your friends here.

came on a saturday after stopping by the city park farmers market that morning around 1130a, and waited for ~45 mins for a table for 2. the food took a bit, but the quality was worth it! i got the colorful colorado, and the eggs were perfectly soft and runny (see egg porn photo for reference), which was a great balance between the crispy smashed potatoes underneath. i got mine with ham, which was the default, but i think i'll get the avocado instead next time to make the dish a bit creamier and less salty/heavy. the japanese asa-gohan was also great, filling without it being too heavy. the perfect balance with the crunchy veggies as well.would definitely come back to try their other dishes as well!

The ambiance of this place was nice. Very homey, bright, and felt very clean. Dog friendly too! I do think reservations are preferred but my partner and I just walked in, so fair warning it may not best to just walk in like we did in case they get slammed. The food was quite delicious. The drinks were quite tasty too! The service workers were nice as well but mostly kept to their own, which is nice in my opinion.

The vibes here are immaculate, if I could come here everyday to peacefully read, I would. Everyone here is always very friendly and welcoming as soon as you step in through the door. We come here every season because we love the food and because I love trying their seasonal sourdough waffle. It slaps everytime. The turmeric latte is delightful, so creamy. And the oyako-don is the always our go to. What a perfect comfort meal.

Cute spot that definitely gets busy on the weekends. Take advantage of the reservations available on tock to make sure you have a table. Parking can be a bit challenging but there's spots on the surrounding streets.I loved the little bakery case at the entrance which had a variety of different seasonal baked goods. I'm looking forward to trying the different things they have to offer on my next visit. They also have a full coffee bar with refills on hot and iced coffee available if you're dining in. Service was as expected for a busy brunch place but everyone was super kind. I'd love to come back to try more food but I will say portions for their sandwiches were on the smaller side. Definitely a fan of this spot since they have more "lunch" options during their brunch!

This place is super cute in what I assume is the art district area of downtown Denver. Well decorated and lit. Server was nice in giving recommendations and making sure we're taken care of. The food was ok. I feel like it's missing an oomp factor but it's a solid dish.

Food: 4/5 great tasting and fresh options, including vegan! Coffee was excellent and they have honey or maple syrup to sweeten them up. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which could have been crispier. Service: 5/5 attentive, friendly, and service seemed like a team effort.Ambiance: 5/5 cute place but hard to find from the street bc they only have their name on the door. Go up the accesible ramp and you can peek at their menu posted by the door.

Food - got mushroom + green hummus tartine (added poached egg and feta as extra add-ons) and scram sandwich. Scram sandwich was a good basic sandwich; I liked the tomato chutney. The tartine was very good. I enjoyed the mushrooms. The employee hadn't tried this yet, but I'm glad I went for it. The drinks got a bit mixed up, but it taught me that the spicy chai and iced chai latte taste the same. So don't worry too much about choosing between those two. The restaurant was kind enough to comp the drink order due to the confusion. Which brings me to customer service.Service - I thought the employee was very professional in how they handled the drink issue. As a business owner, I would have done the same if I had made a mistake. The drinks and food came out in a timely manner.Ambiance - pretty good. It was a busy weekend morning, but the wait was estimated at 30 minutes, which was enough time for me to decide what I wanted to order when I was sat down. I liked the decor, especially the little plastic animals in the potted plant and on top of the frames toward the front.I would return here in the future to try some of their other menu items, as there are a few more that intrigued me. Despite some confusion and error, they had enough integrity to fix the problem in a satisfactory way, and they were kind to me as a customer. That in turn makes me want to support them.

Had a delightful breakfast here on Friday morning - busy but not full. The oyako-don with spinach had a mix of chicken, eggs, and onion served over rice - a perfect combination of flavors. The scram sandwich also had an excellent combination of flavor with the tomato chutney, ham, scrambled eggs, sriracha mayo on a brioche bun - all the flavors complimented each other perfectly. The waffle by itself is okay, but reaches a new level with the matcha custard creme diplomat. Definitely a fan!
