We came here to watch some sports. Not only did they put our game on but they also took exquisite care of us all the way around.We had specialty cocktails and I highly recommend the John Daly. We also tried some of the beers on tap. The staff was on top of our order. They made sure we never ran out of a drink before offering to grab us another.The restaurant is pleasantly breezy. It's definitely a happy sporty vibe. I really enjoyed the high ceilings.The food was creative yet still bar food. We had loaded buffalo chicken waffle fries and Mac and cheese egg rolls. The food came out fresh and hot. It was a real treat!Overall, I really enjoyed our experience. I look forward to going back. It was our first time at a Stoney's. So it started out rough. I seated myself as it states and I wanted a table by the open window area which is in clear view of the bar. Not sure who the waitress was at first although I eventually seen her waiting tables on the other end of the bar. I was there a good 10 minutes and 2 gentleman walked in and sat at a table next to the door and mine. Within a few minutes she greeted and took their order and then she proceeded to see me and take my order. The interaction was rushed, I did come for a special so I already knew what I wanted. She confirmed the special. 3 beef flour tacos for 2.50 each apart of taco week app. I ordered a house margarita and it was aight. I also ordered a Modelo to get more points on the app. A friend of mine just happened in to get a beer. about 10 minutes into her beer a bee flew in the cup, we covered it and it flew back out. She took it back to the waitress and explained the situation. A few moments later a different lady walked over and asked what happened. We explained and she replaced the beer. The waitress came over at one point I said I wanted to pay, they did not provide a printed copy she simply told me the total which was over 30.00 I requested a copy of my check and unfortunately it was not correct which was not a big surprise. I was charged 10.00 for the 3 tacos when it should have been 7.50. So i was over charged 2.50 Also on the check a impact charge of .78 which I have never really seen. My total including the tip I left which I should not have was 37.81. At the very bottom of the check they have a additional tip suggestion's (the nerve). I tip very well even when the experience is less the appeasing. My tip on this service was 20% the mobile device they use for payments with credit card automatically default to this so be careful. In the end I feel like I made a bad decision choosing this establishment on this day.

I think this place is worth a try and one of the better sports bars Ive been to. I had a lemon berry smash and buffalo chicken fries. The buffalo chicken fries are enough for 2 people and it was a very strong spicy heat from the sauce. In my opinion, one ranch isn't enough for all this but you can order another or make it work. I would get this again as it was very yummy. I will say the lemon berry smash was good but the straw was too small for the fruit so it kept getting stuck with pieces of blackberry. Overall the ambiance was typical of a normal sports bar. Plenty of TVs to watch sports as well. Service was nothing special and typical of most sports bars.

"TOUCHDOWN STONEY'S"If you want to watch a sporting game out, go to Stoney's Uptown. It's like walking into a fishbowl of litty big-screen TVs, rowdy cheering fans, hustling servers, clinking draft beers and slinging bar food. You'll run into fans of your team and the other teams, but that is what makes the atmosphere fun! You'll get the thrill of looking at someone and with your eyes saying, "We are coming for you... on the _________!" (insert field, court, ring, horse, whatever event is on)Thanks to the Colts vs. Texans game, we discovered this. With a decent size party, I was curious how seating would work. Quickly, I learned there was no need to worry. It's open seating and there's lots of it, even a pretty big patio for a nice day. Our party easily found a spot in the fairly busy Stoney's. Our waitress may of been the MVP of the experience. She had a great sense of humor and handled our party of 12 with ease. She never missed a drink or food order, which always impresses me when you have a big party. There was a SHIP load of items ordered by our table. Maybe all the appetizers? Haha. I did not try them all, however, what caught my tastebuds the most was the Sweet Potato Fries. They had a sneaky blend of sugar, spice n' everything nice on them, and were the LEAD BACK who could have kept breaking my self-control. We'd definitely go back to Stoney's Uptown for a game!

The absolute worst service on the face of the planet. The bartender was rude and walked away multiple times while trying to get the check. Abrupt and rude are the themes to the bartenders at this excuse for a local bar. Aside from the lack of service and the unfriendly attitude, I did not feel welcome and do not recommend this bar if it was the last bar in Denver. Zero tip well deserved. I was the only patron who required my credit card upfront.

Great bar, lots of tvs, service was top notch. Food was great and the kitchen was wildly efficient and fast. Only 3 stars because at the risk of sounding like I'm 110 years old, it's offensively loud. Not the patrons, the #%*}ing speakers above the bar are ABRASIVELY loud. You could hear the game so much better at half the volume. Our group hung out for about 3 hours, and finally left cause we couldn't stand the overwhelming volume. Great spot, but I'd never go back for a game due to the insane volume.
