Well... dang! Arvada has a gem! On my first visit, my friend and I happenstanced on Stone Cellar waiting for another spot but once we sat down at the bar and saw how amazingly focused the kitchen was, I quickly canceled my reservation. We ordered wine and a couple of appetizers. The burrata and tomatoes was so fresh. We spooned it all. The fois gras was sweet and savory in all of the best ways! I told her I had to come back with my partner who is a chef and I know would appreciate a focused kitchen! We went back together a few days ago. The wine selection was solid. The oysters were so uniquely dressed and again, so fresh! The couples next to us both were commenting positively on the food as we were on apps. "This is the most amazing juiciest chicken I've ever f**ing had!" Okey!!! We were excited! We split the cast iron steak and it was cooked to perfection. We loved it! We both very much appreciate a focused kitchen who is trying to do something amazing. Thank you, Stone Cellar for continuing your pursuit to greatness because my goodness you're well on your way! Highly recommend! Food was so well composed. Flavors were so balanced and fresh. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back!!

I've been a repeat customer and have gone to Stone Cellar Bistro 5 times now and can I just say, WOW! I keep up with all surrounding restaurants in Arvada and can say with a high level of confidence that this is the best New American restaurant in Arvada. The service is amazing. Very attentive staff who are always happy to give recommendations and address any concerns you may have (food allergy in my case). The food! Oh, the food! It's amazing. Super creative and always tasty. I'm so happy this place is in walking distance from where I live! I really really want to be a regular but it is on the pricy side so will have to settle for stopping by every couple of months.

We went to celebrate my fiance getting into grad school and from the moment we walked in, we knew it would be a special night. They brought over a personalized card congratulating him and champagne which was incredibly thoughtful. We probably over ordered, but each dish was amazing in its own way, and I don't know what I would have taken off the list. Hard to beat the fried chicken though- apparently on Saturdays from 4-5 there's a fried chicken happy hour so we plan to check that out. Definitely a new top restaurant in the denver area.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. This place is an experience. It is tucked away on Grandview Avenue in Olde Town Arvada. We made reservations, as recommended. Our table was ready when we arrived. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. We opted for indoor on our reservation. We perused the drink menu. I opted for a fall sangria. My husband had a Lord Moore. We started with Foie Gras Parfait. This was lovely. We opted not to have the honey roasted peanut garnish due to a dietary issue. It had strawberry jam, lemon curd and fresh basil. We spread it on the accompanying warm brioche.Stone Cellar sources local as much as possible so their menu changes with the seasons. At the time that we went, they were serving a fish, a chicken, a pork and a steak entrée. I got the steak and my husband got the fish.My steak, Cast Iron Strip Steak, was done to perfection. It came with a mixture of fingerling potatoes, summer squash, gem peppers, smoked tomatoes and a home made "boursin." I savored each bite.My husband rarely gets to have fish as I have an allergy so it is not cooked at home. He was thrilled at the opportunity to have some cod. Butter Roasted Black Cod, to be specific. It was served with a mixture of turnips, chard, and leeks, all sitting atop Champagne beurre-blanc. I've been tasked with learning to make that sauce. We saw the dessert menu which looked luscious. However, there was no room left. Maybe next time. This was a fabulous way to celebrate 29 years.

Located in Arvada, I've heard about Stone Cellar Bistro via an instagram influencer. I think sometimes their recs can be so so but they nailed this one.It is a small restaurant located in Old Towne Arvada (about 20 min from downtown denver). It's cute and white linen with fancy elegant setting without making you feel out of place. Our server was Rob and he was so friendly, walked us through the whole menu and was super accommodating. As for the food, this may very well be one of the best meals I've had in the Denver metro. Every single bite of food was delicious and all of the combinations fell intentional and well designed. We ordered every single item in the menu with the exception of the lettuces dish and I am so glad we tried it all! The sweet potato and pear combo was outstanding! The fried chicken was flavorful and so so crunchy! The rolls were soft like a pillow...I could go on and on...the corn dog? Amazing! No critiques, 10/10

Something you should know about the Stone Cellar Bistro in old town Arvada: While I've been a big fan of the place as being one of the best "neighborhood restaurants" in the entire Denver-Boulder area, the meal we had there last night was Michelin star worthy at much much less than Michelin star prices. Attached are some pix but they don't begin to depict the outrageously delicious food we were served. The menu changes every month so a specific recommendation might not serve you well, but while they change up the entrees frequently, the apps seem to be more regular in appearance. Some that you shouldn't miss are the steak tartare, the endive salad and (if you're into this kind of thing...) the dark chocolate covered fois gras balls with touches of wild cherries and crushed pistachios. Wow! (and the expresso chocolate tart and almond sponge cake with Compari sorbet we shared for dessert were out of this world too!).Sign me,David "Exec Director of the SCB Fan Club" M

There is a reason that Stone Cellar Bistro is ranked among the best restaurants in Denver - An innovative and creative menu, absolutely delicious food, intimate and relaxed atmosphere, and terrific service. We recently celebrated birthdays here and the entire experience was so special and memorable! Wine selection is abundant...had an Italian red, and my partner had a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Shared a bleu cheese wedge salad, which was delicious. We also shared a plate of locally sourced Grateful Bread rolls, with a walnut miso butter. For entrees, slow roasted pork shoulder and brown butter basted sea bass - every bite was an explosion of flavors. For dessert, we shared the Bee Squared Honey Tart with raspberry preserves. The entire meal was amazing, but our awesome Server, Rob, really made the it an experience with stellar service! Can't wait to go back! You will love this restaurant.

I'm so happy this place came to Olde Town Arvada. It took over Mi Tierra, which was a Mexican place I tried once and didn't really like. I've been to this new restaurant a couple times and the food has always been delicious. Definitely start with the biscuits. They were delectable. The hanger steak, if they have it, was also a nice dish. I like that their menu changes with what's seasonal and the best quality on the market at the time. The charcuterie plate was well done. The jalapeño peach jam was amazing. And the desserts were really good as well. The cheesecake - yum! The servers have always been super nice and on top of things when I've visited. The restaurant was kind of small but not cramped. Just feels intimate. I really love this place and I hope it stays around for a long time. The best place to park was probably the parking garage. It was a short walk from the RTD parking garage to this restaurant.

We celebrated the holidays by making a reservation well in advance at Stone Cellar Bistro. This small and charming restaurant in Old Town Avada does not disappoint in its food preparation and presentation. The short ribs, snapper and pork belly that we ordered for our table of four were all excellent.Stars are removed from our review because of a communication problem between the wait staff and the kitchen that caused our entrees to be served more than an hour after we ordered. The restaurant partially made amends by providing an additional free entree. That problem aside, we have eaten at the restaurant several times and recommend it.
