The food tastes really authentic here. We ordered some bibimbap and seafood pancakes. They are very well made and served quickly. We even ask for refill of an appetizer for a couple of times and they did not complain at all. We get seated in a booth with divider on both sides and does provide us some privacy.

One of my friends recommend this place to me for some good Korean food. I got the Korean seafood pancake and soft tofu stew with seafood (shrimp, clams and oysters). Your meal comes with a full set of ban chan. The food was good but a little different than what I expected. The pancake had egg, which is uncommon in Korean pancakes, so the texture was different and tasted very eggy. Still good but just different. The soft tofu stew is often spicy, but this one didn't have as much spice. It was full of tofu and seafood though.A little more expensive than other Korean restaurants in the area but very nice sit down restaurant; clean and more modern. Service was a little slow but we were in no rush. I'd recommend coming in at 6-6:30pm for dinner. There was a line and it started to get really full after 7pm.

This is a nice Korean restaurant where my favorite is Bibimbap. I always tend to get this item off the menu. My friend andbi had gotten Bibimbap, I a vegetarian and my friend the steak one. After placing thr order, the host brought out Banchan which were delicious. I do wish she explained which were vegetarian which ones weren't so I had to ask her. The food is great but the service is to be desired for. The hostess disappeared immediately after bringing out the food so I had to wait a while to ask for Gochujang sauce. They only serve gochujang sauce in a tiny dish which isn't enough for someone who likes their dish to be spicy. It was a nice place with a nice location to catch up with friends.

Cozy restaurant nestled in the Seoul Plaza off of Buford Hwy. We went here with a group of five for a late lunch on the weekend. The ambiance was nice and private. The service was welcoming and attentive. The menu is more extensive than we thought. We ultimately ordered variations of the dolsat bibimbap (mixed rice and vegetables served in a sizzling hot stone bowl-- different choices of protein). True to the restaurant's name, it was delicious. All the side dishes were tasty as well (side dishes are limited to 5 refills per set).Overall, it was a good place for a small group so that there was something for everyone.FYI: Parties of 5 or more will automatically have a 20% gratuity included.

I live by a ktown in NJ so I admit that I do have high standards for korean food. I read reviews and was excited to try out the stone bowl rice and stews because they looked really good but was disappointed because the food was not authentic and the service was extremely slow. I came on a Saturday night with a reservation and was seated in a semi-enclosed booth. The waiter kept skipping my booth so I didn't order until 15-20 minutes after I sat down. I ordered the eel stone bowl - I never had an eel bowl before but decided to try it. My family ordered the seafood tofu stew. The bowl was just ok - looks better than it tasted, I think the bulgolgi bowl looks more authentic with the vegetables. But the tofu soup was quite a disappointment - there was rice inside the stew? And the flavors tasted bland. Plus, the rice that came with the stew was so hard it was almost inedible.A bit sad about the experience because I heard Atlanta has good Korean food, but maybe I was just unlucky and the restaurant had an off day.

Very legit Korean restaurant. After finding out Atlanta/Georgia has a sizable Korean population, I knew I had to eat at a Korean restaurant when I had the chance to visit. There's quite a bit to choose from on the menu. I just had to order the yukgaejang to see how it lines up against Houston's. My girlfriend ordered the stone bowl bibimbap with squid. She liked her dish a lot, it had all the veggies, and the rice was nicely crisped. The yukgaejang bowl was HUGE, like Texas-sized portion. Pretty solid, I would say I'm disappointed it didn't have the mountain roots/ferns.The banchan was so good, probably better than the selection I've had around Houston. The cucumbers, fishcake, and bean sprouts were delish. They also have corn tea and barley tea, recommend trying it!

These eponymous stone bowls are so hot that the sizzle that comes from one of them is conversation-halting, much in the way that necks crane for a passing fajita platter. Every single one of us at the table ordered a bibimbap - a mixed rice dish with veg, a protein, and spicy red pepper paste - in one of these bowls, with nary a complaint upon eating. One of the best parts of ordering bibimbap in a stone bowl is the char that forms in the rice layer most proximate to the hot bottom and sides, which adds the most incredible texture to the dish. Personally, I measure a restaurant's bibimbap by how much of that rice becomes well-crisped. By those standards, Stone Bowl House won the game of all the Korean bibimbaps I've had to date in the Atlanta area. The banchan, or free side dishes, are decent. I didn't find any standouts bites, but they tasted fresh and acted as faithful sidekicks to the meal. Along with the standard plates of kimchi and spicy fermented radish cubes, there were sesame oiled bean sprouts, pickled shishito peppers, marinated fish cakes, wood ear mushrooms, and their slightly sweeter version of cole slaw. It's notable that the restaurant offers up to five free refills before an added charge (which is far more generous than other Korean restaurants in the area that shall not be named). With our meals, we also enjoyed a small miso soup that helped to cool down our mouths after the fiery mouthfuls of bibimbap. If there were any disappointments, it was the haemul pajeon, or the seafood pancake. It was slim on the namesake seafood and a little thicker and breadier than I usually prefer. I love the way other Korean restaurants serve theirs on a sizzling platter, but these were delivered on a regular plate and therefore were quick to cool and lose some of their initial luster. Our party of four was seated in one of the semi-private side spaces, where we felt tucked away from the crowd but received just as attentive service as any of the other tabled customers.

Returned after six years and on a chilly Friday, disappointed to find the dishes were not as good as I remembered. Beef bulgogie: tad too sweet and I didn't think the quality of the meat was too great. Bulgogi bibibamp: really regular flavor but loaded with veggies. Seafood kimchi soup: really disliked this as it did not taste very authentic and did not have any kimchi flavor at all. The bunchans were soo good though! Really loved the crunchy cucumber and the sweet savory potatoes

the restaurant was a bit short staff (a notice is posted at the front) so if you visit, please be patient with the service. There was a small wait, however, our food came out at a normal rate after being seated. the ambiance is very cozy and homey. the booths are nicely private from each other and the food was delicious. banchan refills were very prompt and we enjoyed everything we ate.

The stone bowl restaurant offers an authentic Korean dishes. I love how the dish was served in a hot stone bowl. You could eat it it slowly but it remains hot for a long time. The banchan spread was absolutely outstanding. I think only thing I would is about the decor, it can use a facelift.
