Great menu concept! Came here with someone who was vegan and another pescatarian! Everyone had something they could enjoy.Food: I ordered the tuna tostada with a side of hush puppies, the fried green tomatoes and the cinnamon bun bread pudding. Everything was great!!! The tostada needed a bit more flavor (I wish they had seasoned the actual tuna). The tomatoes were amazing (not oily). The dessert was very impressive especially because it was vegan! But overall very good and everyone else I was with really enjoyed their dishes. The menu is extensive and will come back to try more things.Service: our server was awesome! Knew the menu well, gave great recommendations! Very attentive and friendly.Ambiance: very group friendly and casual. Low music playing in the background. Seating is comfortable. Great for groups.I will definitely be back.

Great selection of wine and cocktails, friendly service and a bunch of vegan food options! Inside is rather large with a lot of patio seating. I got a vegan bean burger with the quinoa patty and it was spicy and with a great texture. They've got a ton of options so I will be back to try more.

If you are vegan or vegetarian this is definitely a great spot with lots of options! My brother is vegetarian and this is his fav place to eat in the RDU area. I regret not getting the pickle chips as my side because they were perfectly battered and cooked. The food was good but on the more expensive side for what you get. The outdoor seating is really nice and the dimensions of the building make the interior seating pretty interesting. The servers were nice and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you're vegan or vegetarian!

First time stopping in here. This is a cute place with comfy, seating and easy to locate in Carrboro. Parking was a little tricky but if you look around behind the building, you can find parking. Our server was super friendly and helpful and was quick with our order.I ordered a patty melt with sweet potato fries, and everything was delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their lunch today. I would recommend coming here for lunch.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed lunch here recently! I had the tofu stir fry, so yummy! We split the fried green tomatoes, recommend those too! Parking can be a challenge, but don't let that stop you!

I probably would not have chosen Spotted Dog if not for a work lunch, but I'm glad I ended up here. Mostly featuring vegetarian and vegan options, Spotted Dog for me, required that I expand my mind a bit and think about why I wouldn't have chosen this place. Do I need meat in every meal? Certainly not. Did I still order an entree with chicken? Yeah. I ordered the Stir-fry with NC natural chicken. It was surrounded by beautiful fresh veggies and tossed in a nice light sesame sauce, served on rice. I throughly enjoyed it. The group with me ordered crab cakes, tacos, a burger and one got an impossible burger. Everyone said the enjoyed their meal. Bottled Boylan sodas are a fun beverage option and I do want to return to try some of their cocktails such as the Lobo Negro, featuring Mezcal and house-made ginger syrup. The place was clean and features art including watercolors, mostly of precious puppies and dogs. The service was friendly. I like the location a lot too - wedged between East Main and Weaver, the view outside the large windows proved to be lovely and entertaining - we saw a guy carrying a fluffy dog the size of a miniature horse, flung over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Prices may be slightly higher than a chain restaurant but the quality of ingredients you are getting is well worth just a little more in my opinion.

Not a super fan. The food was ok but I would imagine it would be amazing for those who follow a vegan or vegetarian diet. The "regular" food was just ok, for me. The staff is super friendly and the price is right.

My friends and I came here for a quick drink/bite before a concert. Our waitress was very friendly but the drinks took a while to come out. I enjoyed the drink I got (razzarita) but was disappointed that the cup was 90% ice and only 10% drink. I didn't order any food but I tried a few bites of what my friends ordered and we all agreed it was just mediocre. Overall was kind of disappointed with my experience dining here and probably wouldn't come back.

The food is very good at the Spotted Dog. I had curry with tempeh as my protein. It was so good. It had carrots broccoli, cauliflower, red and green peppers, squash. It also had a side of rice. The good thing about there menu is you can order the dish with different protein, chicken, salmon, tempeh, soy chicken. And a choice of vegan, vegetarian or meat options. The curry was perfect. You will enjoy the Spotted dog.
