Spice N Curry

First and foremost, everyone should be aware that this is not Indian food the way you see it in Indian restaurants with all the relics decorating the place and a table cloth. This is like a bar set up with wooden stools. Probably no more than 11 persons could sit at one time. It is in the back of a grocery store and the grocery store also isn't set up like Publix. The food is made by a nice man who looks Spanish. For those that are a bit more posh, lower your third world expectations of luxury and you will see why this place earns 5 stars. The food is delicious and everything is for a fair price. A meal for a single person is probably enough for two people. The staff is friendly and after you make friends with the cook after visiting a few times he might even give you a small appetizer for free. We will continue returning as long as we're in the area! Love this place.

A small mum n pop Indian grocery store. I love places like this. I bought a few things I would not normally be able to find and purchase in a standard store, so I was pleased.

We have been coming to Jay's shop for years, I mean over 10 years. There's a little cafeteria in the back where he employees college students usually to prep and serve his homemade style Indian street food. It's all in the back on the right, you hardly notice it. The little three seat cafe is not a looker but it's the real jewel of the shop. In the front they sell Indian groceries, Indian vegetables, common vegetables, Asian frozen foods, incense, ayurvedic homeopathic items, and things of that nature. Stop in for a peek, grab some paratha from the frozen section (trust me you'll thank me later), and grab a samosa chatt before you leave from the back. Everyone is friendly and it'll be a fun experience.

I highly recommend this place. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. It was very flavorful and the price was reasonable. I really enjoyed the garbanzo beans as well. I see myself coming back.

Finally came back here after it was closed for a few years - and the food is just as good! I recommend the Dal Makhani or the Matar Paneer.Unfortunately, there is no seating here- it's only take out. Just keep that in mind.

New regular lunch spot. 13-15 bux for a very flavorful meal. Tried the goat curry and two chicken curries and i think every dahl. Everythings pretty awesome but I favor the chicken curries. The dahls are delicious enough to get a large and having as a meal.

The butter chicken was hard. The naan bread was also hard and the girl whom served the food was extremely rude.

I had not been able to try their food. But after several attempts that finished somewhere else, I finally did. And I am so glad. Nice customer service, although short since I ordered the food to go. The food was very very tasty. I do not remember the name of what I had but it was delicious... generous portions as well. I used to live nearby and not anymore but if I am in the area I'll remember where to grab a quick lunch/dinner. Recommend!

I reallly want this place to be good because I hate driving to Broward just for groceries but this is the second time I found insects/larvae in my purcases first in the padads and now in a giant bag of basmati rice which was not cheap... Not worth it anymore :(

Good prices, they have most Indian spices and supplies. The place is hidden between many shops in the shopping plaza. The workers are very nice and they help you get whatever you need. Anything Indian is here.
