AMAZING! My boyfriend and I have been to many Indian restaurants, from London to Ft Lauderdale to Coconut Grove, and this gem in Kendall is truly top of our list. The food was so delicious, with a perfect spice level, good quality meats, and very flavorful. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, Bruce. We will definitely be coming back. See you next week Akash!

The food was good and the ambiance is quiet, which is really nice. The downside, we were only given a small bowl of rice for 2 people and ordered another portion, which we were charged for. It did feel on the warm side in the restaurant so I don't know if it's always an issue or if it's usually like that since they did have a couple of fans. Another detail is that if you pay with a credit card, you'll get charged a 4% fee and if you pay cash you'll get a 4% discount but, not convenient since most people pay with credit cards. I will come back thought because the food was good and close by.

This place should be packed 24/7! Not only the service is phenomenal but the food is to die for!I seriously get excited to think about their food. I try something different every time I go and NOTHING DISAPPOINTS! Their shrimp biryani has huge shrimp and perfectly cooked with is always something rare to find. Good and affordable wine too. What more can you ask? Stop reading and GO!

From the moment I stepped into Akash Indian Cuisine, I was enveloped in an ambiance that felt like a warm embrace. The owner, whose personable and inviting approach sets the tone for an extraordinary dining experience, welcomed us with the kind of genuine enthusiasm and warmth that one might expect from a dear friend. This wasn't just a meal; it was an invitation into a home away from home, where every dish served was a testament to the love and care put into its preparation. The food at Akash is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a masterpiece of flavors, expertly balanced to highlight the richness and diversity of Indian cuisine. From the perfectly spiced curries that leave a gentle warmth on your palate to the naan bread, soft and pillowy, each bite seemed to tell a story of tradition, passion, and culinary excellence. The menu, a carefully curated selection of both familiar favorites and innovative creations, ensures that every guest, regardless of their familiarity with Indian cuisine, finds something to delight their senses. But what truly sets Akash apart is their commitment to going above and beyond for their guests. It's in the small details--a thoughtful recommendation from the menu, the owner stopping by each table to ensure diners' satisfaction, or the extra effort to accommodate dietary preferences--that Akash distinguishes itself. This dedication to guest experience, combined with the mouthwatering cuisine, makes dining here an unforgettable journey of culinary discovery.I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the decor, which complements the warm hospitality with its elegant yet cozy feel, adding to the sensation of dining in a cherished friend's home. The vibrant colors and tasteful decorations are a feast for the eyes, just as the dishes are a feast for the palate. For anyone seeking not just a meal but an experience, Akash Indian Cuisine is a treasure waiting to be discovered. The phenomenal food, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the personal touch from the owner and staff have set a new standard for what dining should be. Akash doesn't just serve food; they serve joy, comfort, and a piece of their heart with every dish. My suggestion? Visit Akash with open hearts and appetites. You'll leave with both filled to the brim.

First time here, and I've got to say it was amazing! Ordered the garlic Naan and pepper jack Naan as an appetizer. My plus one had a chicken lollipop, and I ordered a Madras curry, which was made to perfection! The server was also the owner, and he was courteous, nice, and explained each dish to detail. I will definitely be coming back 10/10

Ordered from Uber. The restaurant unfortunately packed a serving of rice and checked that off as one of my entrees so I didn't get to try the butter chicken. However, the bharta, tikka masala, and naan that did arrive were very flavorful and I think the most delicious Indian food in the Kendall area. Will definitely try again, maybe in person next time to not have any mistakes again.

If you are reading this, stop! Immediately get in your car and go to Akash and enjoy some of the best Indian food you have ever had. You say, "But it is 6am in the morning now". Doesn't matter, get in your car and wait till they open. You have little kids that don't like Indian food and you can't get a babysitter at the last minute? That's what duct tape is for. Tape them to the chair turn on the TV and get in your car.You are in the hospital and close to death? Muster your strength and get to your car and get to Akash. It will be a great last meal.I have loved Bombay Darbar in the Grove since it wa sa hole in the wall. I have enjoyed Urban Rrasoi in Kendall. Guess what? The chef at Akash Kendall worked at both places and he has brought his A+ game to this new location. The mango curry is one of the best curries I have ever had. The garlic cilantro naan was devine and I could have eaten a gallon of there the raita. I am a dessert person and that is where Indian restaurants always let me down. I do not like Indian desserts, but I have to say I enjoyed their gulab jamun. usually gulab jamun are served hard and very doughy, but these were hot and fluffy. The only issue I had was how empty the place was. They are new and haven't built a consistent following. So if you are a lover of GREAT Indian food and live within one hour of West Kendall it is your moral imperative that you go and make this place a success. Why are you still reading this? Get in your car!

I really enjoyed this place. I didn't take any photos of my food, but do yourself a favor and check them out. I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon, so it wasn't very crowded, which I prefer. Service was great and friendly, and the food/portions were fine to me. I had the Akash Curry w/ chicken and garlic Naan for a total of $26. Perhaps pricey for some, but I guess you get what you pay for with food. I will definitely return to try some of their other items. The restaurant is located in a shopping Plaza and is a welcome diverse options in an area full of Latin establishments.Check em out!
